I agree with the sentiment, but they didn't do this just for Black Gives Way To Blue. They had quite a few melancholy acoustic songs way back when, like Nutshell and Brother. Although Nutshell wasn't originally acoustic, the acoustic version I'd say is the best known.

@psychosocialmuppet im actually 100 percent sure that there is not an electric version. of nutshell.... there is some electric lead but that doesnt really count because theres electric lead in almost every acoustic alice song.... including this one on the album
