They're doing the Hendrix thing in their OWN way. The guitarist is amazing. You have to be to cover Jimi. I agree with the fact that they should put COVER in the title, but that still doesnt take away from the fact that the guitarist is EXTREMELY talented. I would listen to them anytime!

Wow.. captured the Hendrix feel nicely... the tone and string bends are very Hendrix like. I like this cover better than the G3 cover I saw. Though Satch, Vai and Petrucci have huge technical abilities their cover was too clean, the Hendrix feel was missing in their cover.. you know the raw wild playing. I wish your band all the best.

Forgot to add that playing rhythm and lead alternatively while singing like Hendrix did deserves a lot of appreciation. Even many well known guitar greats can't do that. Great job!

your voice is all wrong. you have to sing from the top of your throat, and then slightly muffle your words, and use a very very subtle lisp, and then make it a tad deeper. and your improvisations on guitar aren't matching Hendrix style jams.

This guy is actually a member of, I believe it's called, The Jimi Hendrix Experience. It's comprised of a group of guitarists and such and they play his songs as a tribute to Jimi. This guitarist was the opening act for the show at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas a few months ago. The show was great, and this guitarist, Eric Gales, really got the crowd warmed up.

Hendrix was a real genius, Foxy Lady is just an amazing song that lives on, beyond his composer. It leaves me breathless everytime I listen to it... specially in live gigs. You people should search "fballrock" and check out that band, they make the best Foxy Lady cover I've seen in Youtube.

Well - a boring 5 minutes. The drummer and bassist should find themselves a guitarist who cares more about the music than "the look" - they're great! Hendrix wore the clothes because he had the chops. You gotta be able to play it, THEN worry about your idiotic sunglasses and cowboy hat. In this age of American Idol and processed Music Product, it seems that the outfit comes first, but that's not true. And change the title to show it's a cover band. Passing yourself off this way is dishonest.

ok, this is bad. if you're going to be a hendrix cover band, complete with hendrix impersonator, at least get a lefty guitar and string it righty (since he this guy is right handed). second, the drummer is horrible. thirdly... the name. electric lady band.. give me a break.. at least use something a little more obscure than that. electric church would be better than electric lady band.
