if you really want to rock to the music you get a 3 channel color organ circuit and drive three different colored banks of LED's. Fan speed should be auto-regulated .. Shouldn't be able to turn off your fan .. unless you like buying new CPU's and motherboards. This unit's useless ultimately. 3 thumbs down .. Rodney's enthusiast endorsement notwithstanding.

gotta be careful lowering the voltage on your fan .. I think they are not voltage controlled necessarily .. it's PWM control .. I might be wrong .. you can screw up your fan if you don't provide the right voltage .. it heats up the fan motor. Also 'sound pressure' is bogus phrase-ology .. it's a Rodney Reynolds hype-term. It's a broad-band SCR that measures voltage ultimately. Audio voltage. Temp gauge is prolly the most useful. All three should be temp gauges.

most review state that voltage control doesn't go lower than 6 volts and no higher than 10 to 11 volts about 80 percent. They also they VU is touch and requires to high of an output but, that it is still good way to spice up the case.

Can anyone tell me what changing the sound pressure does? Is it just for adjusting the sensitivity of the meter to read the pressure created from the sound?
