  • maid lea namma vai juoik?what is the name of this joik?it sounds like ailohas but what is the tune?

astridkitty-its not necesary to kill all the wolves, but unfortunately our culture has changed in modern times.i say this because the best way to keep wolves away is to sleep near the herd and to play drums and yoik very loudly at night regularly-no wolf is curious enough to go near that noise. but many are now christian and many live in one place.another way is to allow the wolf old or sick deers

  • greeting to our brothers ! i have kipcak origin ! sami , komi people are sharing same origin with kipcaks!

  • As far as languages go, Northern Sámi sounds wonderful.

  • Why can't you let the Svenska ulv live? Do you really have to kill EVERY wolf to protect your reindeer? I know you are oppressed but why can't you show the Svenska ulv just a bit of sympathy?!

  • i have always thought overhunting was against sami culture and i think it is western influence. as i say there are ways to keep wolves away but it means giving up some western things that many have become attached to.

  • mycket vacker!!!!!!!!!!

    jag tycker om reindeers!!!

vad är en ren i saams?

    voka voka eller något annat?

  • Great show of modern work in our culture

  • If time permits please take a look at my Twelve Tribe Series at my channel....

This is an excellent video, the Sami remind me of the Native and First Nation people in North American...

    Wattehhai... Pappy Stu said it...

  • Except Native and First Nation people don't live the way the Sami people do. We don't roam the land free and we don't have our own rights. As a Native American/Finnish woman I have a lot of respect for the Sami people. They are doing what my native ancestors tried to fight for and lost, they are living their lives in their traditions where sadly native americans and first nations can't. That right was taken from us over 100 years ago.

  • Reindeer are for food and for sleigh rides mostly.

  • slaughter to make money you mean
