Pitchfork is the popiest of all music sites despite its supposed indie cred. All they care about is pandering to the hipster demographic. For christsake they loved the Lil Wayne album but had the gaul to give the 'Highly Refined Pirates' album a 5.4? Pitchfork fucking sucks dong.

I agree with BethPessoa, I usually go to Pitchfork to find out about good albums that no one else reviews. I dont always agree with them, but thats why I have my own opinions anyways, I wont get mad at a site that says something sucks if I think its good or vice versa...

Well What I meant is that Pitchfork is one of this site that aproves original noises like something out of the normal, That for me it's Avant Gard. I Don't like bands Without Bass for me it's Cheap. It doesnt mean that this song is not catchy but Why Without bass. It's like if they cannnot support another member in the band

Well, because it's apparently hip to have a two-person band or nontraditional instrument arrangements....and to me that is one reason why so called "indie" rock has gotten so damn pretentious and insincere.Today's indie sounds cannot remotely compare to 90's indie, bands like Polvo, Superchunk, Archers of Loaf, etc.. put everything else to shame.
