  • Really, really nice video. What a beautifully clear day for train watching.

  • @mbwolf61

Thanks. If I remember correctly, the temps were in the mid 60's. It was perfect out.

  • Good stuff!

  • @basicbill1

    Thanks.

  • Loved the Q377 with all the auto parts cars. Really cool video man.

  • @CSX6000

Q377 was I would say 85 - 90% auto parts boxcars. Don't see solid box trains anymore...

  • Great Video!! Train 1 is 60R, Train 2 Q636.

  • @Ohiorailfan

    Thanks.

  • @Espee9180 no problem.

  • Why did the crossing bell stop ringing as the locomotive approached? Here in California the bells continue through the entire crossing.

  • @NotSoOldHippy

The East Coast is lucky enough to have alot of these types of crossings still around (bells stop ringing after gate drops, then rings again as gate goes up). West Coast seems to have newer gates where the bells ring until the gates go back up.

  • @Espee9180 Hum, I wonder what crossing equipment is being used out there. Have you ever looked at the Brightwon Park / Pershing Main crossing in Chicago? A WikiPedia entry exists for it:

    Brighton_Park_crossing

Speaking of the old stuff, that site used to have a wonderful semaphore which has finally been decommissioned after the last wave of modernization efforts. Alas.

  • Great job! :)

  • @boberttrain831

    Thanks. :D
