  • @auradud3 Theres nothing wring with that lol

  • The only negative thing with these bottles is the concept of the uncovered bite valve. Dust or other things could easily get on it and you'd be putting your mouth on it.

  • omg i LOVE these waterbottles they're just so fun to drink from!

  • I just bought 2 steel camelbak bottles at rot chalet for 5 dollars a piece?. They're cool but klean Kanteen are way better

  • The clip, if I may add, is for a skyhook. Thirsty pilots are out there too you know.

  • Little long of a review for a water bottle, but thanks for posting!

  • I got a green one and it had a see through kind of white bite valve on it.

  • thanks for the great review !

  • lemonade.

  • damn it!! you keep making me buy stuff

  • ok so i have a ZeroWater filter and i tested the water and it was 0 (good). i bought a camelbak and tested the water and it was 60! whats up with that?

  • are they bpa free???

  • looks like there plastic is this true? if so then ewwww u shuould get steel

  • jeff i was just looking at reviews for some of these bottles, and i saw this video. i had no idea you ever did this review!

  • & if u get some liquid behind the bite valve it sucks it back into the bottle

  • DO NOT buy one of these bottles. The hole for the water is TOO SMALL it is like trying to suck water through a pin hole. When you are out of breath and you need water the bottle is unusable. I contacted cambak and they said they will send me a new lid...... lets see if they do and if it is any better. The problem is NOT that air cannot get into the bottle I unscrewed the lid and I still could not suck water through the straw. The hole in the lid is to small.

  • I have a pink one with a clear bite valve

  • FML.... i just paid like 15.50 for one but idc i still love this bottle! i got a blue one and i plan to get the tube extension so i can keep it in my pack and drink from it

  • mine came with a clear bitter

  • @RMackCouture15 some colors are some arent

  • How do you clean the mouthpiece?

  • Hey jeff, did you know they have a metal version of these? I have one with a cool green design on stainless steel. Best bottle i've ever had. Except the mouth piece has started to tear at the edges of the opening

  • Nice review (and great bottle, I have 2!). For anyone deciding between this and the cool stainless steel version, be aware that the opening on the stainless is smaller by about 2mm... which means most drop-in filters, splash guards, etc. will NOT fit in the stainless version! I learned this the hard way, so wanted to give potential buyers a heads up first. If you want "compatibility" with more 3rd party accessories out there, get the BPA-free plastic one in this review (and a bottle sleeve!).

  • Lol i got mine at target and the bite thing wont come off

  • gander mtn. is the bomb way less expensive and better selection than bass pro for camping gear that is.

  • do they make the fluid taste of plastic. the new camelbak bladders using the darker plastic suck compared to the older pale blue plastic bladders camelbak used. the new bladders taste of plastic right from the first use. the older pale blue ones did not

  • thw now the 1ns that are not black have a clear 1

  • mmmmmmm i like the wide mouth also....

  • i got one of them from the dentist i liked how durable they were but you have to make sure you wash the bite valve gets cleaned because it can get pretty dirty

  • The only thing wrong with these is that all parts get scratched quite easily, especially when trekking in rocky environments or climbing.

  • now idk if you have ever seen a pink one. but the pink breast cancer awareness ones come with a pink bite valve. fyi

  • aaa my dad works at camelbak....i gotta bunch of these and backpacks....

  • the loop has three functions: it will also keep the camelbak bottle from rolling :)

  • @ajagor92 That's what she said. LAWL!!

  • Bought the lime green one today for $14 (yeah it's high but I didn't want to wait for Internet shipping). Bought it at Dick's Sporting Goods. Anyway, I think it's an awesome bottle, and I like the fact it's made from tritan (BPA free). The bite valve works great.

  • i just bought a red one at Gander MTN for 7.00

  • thanks a lot for this video, I was gonna buy a SIGG bottle for around 25$ but these seem better for me and are alot cheaper, great review!

  • are these dishwasher safe?

  • yeah they r

  • in romania in Hervis sports shop u can get a 0.75l

    for $7

  • i got the 500 its the best bottle iv hade its a little pricey just for a bottle but the bite valve is awsome so its worth every penny

  • i got a really cool blue podium insulated chill jacket bottle for $12

  • I've got two of these and love them. I wanna get the new stainless steel version.

  • Shit man, get to the point.

  • I was thinking the same thing!!!!!!!

  • i just bought one of these yesterday at REI for like 10.50. i love it!

  • i love REI it is fantastic

  • Is this the bpa free version? What is the recycle number? How can you tell the difference?

    Thanks.

  • I bought one and when in the fully opened position it doesnt allow any liquid through.....

    Can anyone help me pls

  • Comment removed

  • Have the same problem. What size? Mine is .75 L. I emailed Camelbak and called their warranty section and had to leave a message. I hope to god they'll contact me back.

  • are you biting down when you suck?

  • just 2 questions.

    1. what bag do you have. ?

2, why not just get a camelbak bag. with a 2 or 3liter. blader ?

  • thats what i use

camelbak HAWG with a 3 liter bladder ( great for my edc), these bottles are nice, the flipup tab is cheap and snapped off but is unnecesary, just a luxury

  • Great video and great bottle. I just got the sheath for it on Amazon. It prevents it from sweating.

  • great review! you sound so much like kevin james

  • YES! i couldn't put my finger on who he sounded like! ahahaha good job

  • they have these at the bass pro shops where i live.

  • Great video. I just received my 2 bottles (.75L) this morning. I plan to order a .5L bottle for use with my lunch bag.

  • I bought a 1 liter bottle in blue over the weekend. It's great. I especially like that it's BPA free. If you drink from a Better Bottle and there's a metallic taste, a water and baking soda mixture works well to clean. It works for the bite valve, too.

  • what r u talking about? they are not expensive!!!!!!!!!!!! siggs are like 25! they're really good! get a sigg!

  • i have the 16 oz in pink

  • I did in this video for almost 7 minutes, lol...its justa gear review man, many people are interested in them hense the video...but I dotn expect EVERYONE to be fascinated by a video on bottles, lol...

  • @sky5342 Hmm . . . right now, you.

  • I got mine for $5 at my dentist. but then again they told me that they were selling them cheaper then they should be.

  • Just wanted to say, these are great bottles, My wife and I own a total of 4 of them. In our opinion they are the best bottles out there, we have not had one problem with them. I have put all kinds of powdered drinks in them and the parts never get stained, not one leak after over a year - two years of constant use.

  • Yes I feel the same way, I have only used wtare in them but recently tried the small bottle packs of lemodae mix and its been gresat, no taste transfer ocne you wash them out...

  • One cool thing about them I dint hear in the video, might have missed it, is that you can remove the straw from the inside, I still leave it in the bottle so it will not get lost, and you can drink from it by tilting it up. Really nice to do that when you are laying in your sleeping bag at night, you don't have to roll over to drink using the straw. The new ones are BPS free also. Around the house, on the trail, in the gym, dropped, stepped on and it keeps going.

  • Not to crap on your vid or w/e, but I've had experience with four camelbak water bottles and ALL of them have leaked from the cap, imo a waste of money.

  • Thats ok, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so far I have been loving these bottle, but aa far as I cna tell they didn't work for you...Sorry to hear it man...Maybe I got lucky and god some good ones? Or maybe I have just been good about not really moving it around much when filled...Anyway its always good to post your opinions on review videos like this, sometimes peopel ahve different experiences with the same porducts...

  • yeah, the only good reason one of them had to leak was it got wedged under the seat in the car, and so that made it leak, but the other ones were brand new, but they still leaked, very strange. Well, ttyl, btw, which county comm bag would you suggest? I'm thinking the many pocket one or the EOD, any suggestions? thanks much!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have review videos for both the EOD bag as well as the BOB (bail out bag) It depends on what you want to carry, the EOD bag is good for just a bunch og stuff in one bag without seperating anythgin, but it does have 2 small interior pockets as well as one large too...

  • Alot of people do...Its a product review, where I talk about a quality water bottle...Soem peopel have reviews on other products that I cna care less about, but I do not post negative comments about the videos...Not every video on youtube is for everyone watching...We all have a choice what to watch here...I have gotten at least 3 messages since I posted this wuith people thanking me for doing this review because they were wondering about this type of bottle...

  • p.s. your right, why woudl people want to watch this video when they cna watse their time watching for "Xerxes meets jesus" video you posted...I feel stupid for adding such crappy videos when there are soooo many nicer ones on youtube...shame on me, lol...

  • give it a break at least his videos are worth watching have you even seen what you have ob yur channel latley.

  • my bottle of choice is a can of guinness

  • haha, well that can be just as good in many cases...lol

  • guinness is great. UK drink lawaree better than our knife laws theough.

(18 drinking age, no conciel and carry of lockable knifes without purpose)

  • I guess its a give and take situation, lol, drinking age here is 21 as you might already know, but the knife carry laws are a bit more liberal...

  • can recommend a folding kife without lock under 3", preferably straigte clip point? and avaible in the UK, i currently just have my leather man kick, hat would be great. there an no laws on how sharp :)

  • Hmmmm, I am not sure whats avaliable in the Uk, but as for a non locking 3" knife I woudl HIGHLY suggets a casew sodbuster, but its not clippoint, but rather a drop point style blade, you cna check out my cideo on it under "cheap knives" One of my older videos shows it! What a great knife!!! And cheap, like $20 us...Not sure if you cna get one by you though?

  • do you think that the bite valve is something that will be all messed up after 6 months?

  • No it seems very sturdy and will last a LONG time, you can do a search for camelbak on youtube, they have a video on testing their products!

  • great

  • Thanks im gonna buy one

  • Good for you, I know you will like it! I forgot to mention that the black one has the military graphic on it..."Hydrate or die" But the blue one does not...
