For example, numerous Greek professors and researchers are at MIT and Harvard University and also. These people are doing research in Human Genetics, Neural Networks and Nanotechnology to name a few

Melina Mercouri died in 1994 in a New York hospital at the age of 73 from lung cancer. She had been a heavy smoker and when she died, hundreds of Greek citizens left her favourite brand of cigarettes as a memorial at her shrine.
