This is (non debatable) one of the most misery enfused songs ever written by a group of human beings. It's nothing short of fuckin' superb in every sense of what funeral doom is meant to be. A classic. An ode to depair. An anthem to the very threshold of disaster, sickness and death . . . . ok . . .maybe I'm losing it a bit here but hey . . . is this not the fuckin' best funeral doom song ever written. Play it again . . . you know I'm right . . .
He doesn't cry at the end. He just screams "ataraxie" in cutting the word several times... it is just amazing. I agree with you about you said "this song portraits the emptiness of the existance in the most brutal way possible". I saw them in live and it is just fucking beautiful...
The band always go faster towards the end of the song...
