Listening to Tegan talking about helping youth come out gave me chillsss. I'm 21. I came out and started listening to T&S when I was 13. Mom drove me two hours to see them only to find they were sold out. She stood by the door and begged the woman selling tickets to let us in. T&S were very instrumental in helping my Mom cope with my queerness and helped the two of us bond. I am so happy to know that Tegan knows this about their band.
