I have to wonder why every writer thinks that personal tragedy is the right way to create a hero. Superman does what he does because he feels it is right. Spider-man, after getting his powers for the first time, went on tv and did tricks for the Ed Sullivan Show. Then his selfish attitude let the criminal, who eventually would kill his uncle, go. I love Spidey, but thanks to modern marvel writers, his life is a living hell.

That plan'd worked if Stan Lee had actually created any of the marvel carachters. He just knew the right way to sell'em, Jack Kirby (and Ditko in Spidey's case) did all the creative work on those comics.

@IMADonatello No, he didn't. Back then the role of a writer in comic books was much less important. Stan actually ijust had vague ideas for carachters, wich were completed by Kirby and Ditko. Drawers also developed most of the storylines by themselves, Stan only wrote the final dialogues. He even tried to deprive them of their achievements, posing as the main (and sometimes sole) creator of the MarvelU for years. Watch the documentary on DItko on YT and read Kirby: King of Comics for more info.

EPIC...I don't even read comics (though I like the movies for Spiderman and I really and truly LOVE Superman's cartoons and movies and the same wioth Batman) but thois is so well written and just FUN...

And that was a great scene with Lex Luthor and Superman...everything that made those two characters who they were, what makes Lex a great villain ans Superman the immortal American hero that he is!

Until we someday get a real Superman And Batman movie (PLEASE!!!) this is great...
