I liked your video. I actually got this camera last night and I love it. I do not have a problem at all with the placement of the buttons as some people complain about. I one gripe is the door for the battery is a little cheesy and the lens cover is not as my 8.1 mega pix.sony cybershot.

Cameras don't use anti-shake facilities in low-light mode,cause the camera is supposed to be mount on a tripod,so there is no shake.But if the steadyshot is on,it actually tries to eliminate shake,and the sensor shifts,and when the camera is perfectly still,this may actually cause blurriness. Hmm,sounds kinda weird,but you get the idea :)

hey great quality! how about the video and picture quality indoors? and is it true that the photos becomes low quality when transferred to your computer?thanks for the infos!

this camers is really bad i bought one and took it back. The picture are soft looking and not sharp.with video theres no optical zoom.the controls on this camera are to small. in order to record video press the optical zoom to a desired number then press record. It will help get closer but once your recording you cant zoom in or out.

I think that they don't let you zoom while recording is because the zooming causes a bit of noise.

Sony is the One and Only! I just bought the DSC-W290 in black. It's the best and simpliest camera I've ever used! I had a hard time deciding between the dark blue and black colors, they both look great! It's one well built solid little camera! Takes incredably awesome photos and video!

I picked up the w290 its a great little cam

Sony cameras rock man! I got a DSC-w220 12.1 mp cybershot the other day and it is amazing. Mine only cost $213 (Total, including 2GB Memory Stick Duo). The only difference between our cameras is the zoom, mine only has 4x optical zoom, but oh well! Great Review! 5/5
