I was there that day, but I hid out at the gift shop on the mainland. We sat there and watched the hail fly, and I remember thinking that I would have hated to be on the ferry at that point.
I rode that ferry on a fieldtrip when i was like eleven. The water was extremely calm then. I think i would've FREAKED if it was like that when i went lol..brave souls lol
Oh man, I have been on that same ferry when it was rough like that. I usually sit up top though to keep from getting too wet, but when it's rough like that you can't help but get wet! Regardless Lake Erie and its islands are my favorite vacation spot and I look forward to going back this June.
