Convictions's like "Splinter Cell meets Bourne Trilogy/Max Payne.

I've played the game already (torrent), and it's good. But at least I had to be a lot more agressive than in the earlier games. And one some levels the best thing to do was to grab your shotgun and kill every single one of 'em. But of course you don't have to.. And in the full game this level is first of all one of the last ones, and it's a bit redesigned, you don't have to kill anyone if you don't want to.

at first when the demo was first released, when u used the sticky cam there wasn't a view of the cam on the left top side of the HUD. Maybe there was and I just didn't notice it until the other day lol. Am I wrong?

fiirst off if ur trying to be stealthy dont throw sticky cams emp grenades or any thing second if u leave them alive u leave a trail u have a gun for a reason its silent and if u can grasp ur little pusy hands around u may learn a thing or two i can beat it on relistic without being detected killing them all and geting through faster. Double Agent was pretty good, similar to chaos theory but not story wise. Conviction looks like to be a great addition. I'm not a big fan of blowing people away like rambo, but the game is so much harder that way, so let people play the way they want to. True Splinter Cell fans will play this like any other one thats come out.

People complain way too fucking much. Like seriously, people who say this game isn't Splinter Cell anymore are stupid. You need to adapt in order to survive. In case you hadn't noticed, there's a pattern to the Splinter Cell series. SC1 and Pandora Tomorrow both were similar. Ther wasn't much different except SC1 was better. Chaos Theory was the best because it looked like an entirely different game!

you're good, very good at finding other ways. But the thing is you were always alerting them, they knew you were there. So it's not really stealth. Hell, i wouldn't care if you killed every guy on the demo, as long as you were quiet and stealthy about it. But thanks for showing me other ways to by-pass enemies.

After the start, I went through the demo without firing a single round, on realistic and no-one detected me. Used 3 sticky cameras; 1st with the guys at the front of the bld. 2nd for the first room with the emp device hanging from the roof and the 3rd in the area at 4:45... Don't know, probably lot of it was luck but If I can go through it this way so can others.

and please don't dismiss this immediately because I have no proof of it on video, It may have been a fluke but I'm true to my words.

You don't need to kill enemies unless it's a necessity. you should employ stealth in splinter cell games because it's what the game about. sure you could shoot your way through the level but then you may as well play a FPS instead.

I personally try to kill and sneak my way through, it's hard trying to sneak my way through, without having to kill one person to keep myself from being seen. Especially since I haven't play Splinter Cell for years, my last was Chaos Theory. good point well i never played chaos theory i recently became a fan of the series. but from what i have seen this game has strived to be more releastic but still have a fun videogame fake element. you have to imagine in the demo the soldiers gaurding know that you will be coming. if you break a light and they hear the supressed gun shot they should be looking for you. in real life i would not give up, so you have to credit them on realism.

this does actualy look pretty good if u ignore the black and white crap. For stealth games i think Far ry 2 is still king. Try doing the railyard tanker mission without being seen, hard but rewarding. And the greenhouse. Use silent mp5, dart rifle and Ied's FC2 stealth is hard but most awesome if you do it right. Oh and 3:50 = win
