  • Barra "Airport".

  • Wait, i know the runway is sand, but that aircraft just fully landed on water didn't it?

  • one way to avoid landing fees? land on a beach lol

  • @andysim232 good one!

  • @MegaPlanelover The Franchise has moved when most of BA Regional division sold their flights to flybe all the Bham ones also went along with this franchise agreement betwenn BA and Loganair which is now operated for Flybe/Loganair.

  • Loganair still run this route , it says so along the nose of the plane.

  • @MegaPlanelover

The route was previously operated by Logainair on behalf of British Airways as Loganair had a codeshare partnership with BA but Loganair have transferred this to FlyBe hence the Barra route now being operated by FlyBe

  • Nice, Where is the runway, Terminal and ATC tower?

  • @AirportVids The runway is the beach, there are 3 runway configurations on Barra Beach... there is no ATC Tower as this airport only receives flights from the islands and Glasgow. The Terminal Building is essentially the size of a bungalow and in that is customs and a cafe and check in desk.

  • @TheTravellingScot they dont really have customs

  • Really great aircraft to fly in especially from Glasgow to Barra!! I recommend you try it one time in your life.

  • I haven´t see a twinn otter in flybe colors before!

But i love the twin otter so much!
