  • This is brilliant. Good message

  • this is the gayest thing ive ever seen

  • Obama 2012

  • ...but we are not "one people" and "working together" is not key to solving the problems of this world. It's dependence on interconnection and the forcing of this that has caused our current problems as well as in Europe.

Also, going up against a collosal and violent system with "heart", symbolism, and mere intention won't end it or change it. That is more for the feelings of those participating - which is fine - but with no significant result in the physical world. Brutes are brutes.

  • 45 people are forgot their souls before watching this.

  • This was for me one of the most important dances I have ever danced in. Because of it's message, but also because I had my back broken n 1997, and beginning to perform again with this flashmob meant more to me than I can possibly say….which is probably why I was/am a dancer in the first place….

  • a society founded on love? But that would be inhuman...

  • UnitedWeRize is dedicated to helping those in need,

no matter who or what you are !

-Join the Fight, Make a Difference.

How about instead of saying America is the greatest Country on Earth we say Earth is the greatest Planet in the Galaxy!?!?! -Squirrel.

  • That's a brilliant message, The kid helped one up, then they together help 2 more, then 4, then 8, then 16, soon they were all on there feet while the "1%"guy looked on. We can not forget this moment, nothing has changed yet and with the election coming up we need to make sure our voices are still herd and not drowned out by the 24 hour media machine.

  • thank you for dancing. it made me happy

  • fuck occupy.

  • Amazing.

  • Official fan of CodePink. Anyone else? :)

  • :)

  • I'm thinking of occupying the hood in my area...wait would that be defeating the purpose?

  • I AM THE 1%!

  • @patrick4784 No your not.

  • Real change will come when both sides of the politcal spectrum can find common ground, when the Tea Party and OWS shed the Republican and Democrat illusion.

  • I enjoy this more every time I watch it.

  • YES

  • 39 People are bankers who fund and profit off war.

  • I love this! Wish I was there... kudos to all... much love!

  • a wonderful wave of change one of many as people rally under the true meaning of Freedom, equality and love of all living things on this world, no matter our method, the message of hope is spreading internationally, come join it people, it is for all of us, we... the 99%

  • Its ART and PROTEST together and its beautiful and its what is going to change the world!

  • You guys need to keep this up, expand and grow. We need you now!

  • Stupid corrupted people.

  • Right. Occupy Québec! All of it! I think they meant Québec City or Montréal.

  • Together in love we can be the 100% :)

  • i love you

  • 99% is not work!, but changed to 99.9% is work!

  • @BrotherOrmond if over $100 millions rich man and hate them? go to jail!

  • GLOBAL REVOLUTION

  • So sad all these revolutions are actually being funded by the government we are trying to change. From the FREE TIBET movement, to the"revolutions" in Egypt to my home town in SF, they have all been engineered by the CIA, do your research the info is out there. We can make a change, but not this way. Their goal is to further their reason to implement a full on police state, look at the law Obama just passed, please seek and read, and educate your friends before its too late.

  • @fockya what do you suggest we do then?

  • @daisyd33 Quit your jobs, don't buy a thing, and over throw the government, kicking out all the bastards that work there now, and reclaim America for Americans

  • @fockya considering the voting system for occupy where you need 90% approval from basic normal people. Moveon.org was the gov attack to take over the movement. .As for egypt US plans to take Egypt are changed as the US funds the military that tries to decide who takes lead. The people are not having that knowing a puppet president will be placed as military starts using live rounds on the people. As you see i did my research and you may be glad to be mistaken. This cause is noble

  • @shadowlesswalls i forgot to mention moveon.org was rejected trying to make this as a democratic movement. a big fail since occupy does not believe a difference exist between dem's and republicans. It's all an act of lies so our country never has a revolution because people think the views they have are being fought for. I don't understand how you would think our gov would want to destroy itself. One moment you are in power and the next you want people to make u give it up?

  • This is an amaaaazing video

  • 2:17 best part

  • made me shed a tear on Christmas :, -)

  • "Dance Revolution"

  • google "Mayan Elder visits the Ravne tunnel system in Visoko, Bosnia"

  • Why would someone dislike this?

The message is a good one, so why are there dislikes?

  • I'm crying my eyes out here! Great idea and great video too. Well done!

It's not just a flash mob, the people who filmed it and put it together made an amazing job.

    Congratulations!

  • fighting against creates more separation and less of what can ultimately serve all of us. I'm not saying that dance video is all of the solution. certainly not. It's meant to remind us that we need to come from the heart and find ways to work all together to create the world we want to see. Non-violence is the way.

  • we the people .....

  • AWSOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

  • Bravo!!

  • I feel sick. This is the worst type of appropriation.

  • I cried too. Thanks for doing this. you inspire me to change my world.

  • I cried. I never cry, but this was so beautiful... amazing. Purely amazing...

  • Only on Planet Earth!

  • Creepy, but awesome

  • one tribe, ya'll - one organism, one life, we are one

  • It's hard to take this seriously - while i appreciate the intent, the pantomime, the music, etc. just seem trite, and non embodied at all. isn't that what "conscious" dance practices are all about? Plus, choosing black eyed peas and play-acting this interaction of black and white? is that what the occupy movement comes down to? really? nice try, but next time please go for some depth. i don't think you'll find it in a flash mob.

  • Thank you, San Francisco AND Oakland!

  • inspirational ~ Thank you, Oakland!!!!

  • seriously.....black eyed peas? the most god damned corporate piece of shit sell outs the world has ever seen?

  • awesome flash mob! the message is truly universal. such a shame that some people are so close-minded as to ignore how beautiful the message is. we are one people; we should always work to help each other. great job! i hope to see some more people get this kind of creativity.

  • i love it for all the obvious reasons but also 'cause the old guy(i'm about that old ) dances even worse than me and he's STILL managing to have a blast. FUNFUNFUN and inspiring as hell. Let's keep this momentum goin y'all. love, h

  • God, I hate the west coast....

  • @mythos4 well, we don't hate you...

  • Amazing but you didn't pay tribute to Tunisia or the Tunisian Revolution who started the strikes all over the World in fact we just celebrated the first year after the revolution who started 17th december 2010 !!!!

  • @SeifSouid Iran, Tunisia, Syria,Egypt, Saudi Arabia,Bahrain,Yemen! It is the same struggle! We are ONE people!

  • This actually made me tear up a bit. Fantastic.

  • @clyhiz yeah me to with a big smile on my face

  • Wowzers! This is a phenomenal video! Great job on all levels! Wow! Great collaboration on the production of the video and of people that were involved in the making of this flash mob. They even influenced strangers to join in towards the end. Cant wait for the next one. Peace!

  • Merci, cette vidéo est vraiment super!!!! je la mets de suite en favoris si au cas je devais avoir une baisse de moral ;-) merci à tous les gens qui se réveillent enfin, merci la Vie!!!!!! Namasté

  • Amazing video, great job!!

  • Awesome. Metalink: onepeople.nodes.org

  • However staged it is, it's a beautiful performance that provokes thought and inspiration.

Things like this help me believe. Peace and blessings to all humanity.

    Occupy The Planet!

  • i really dislike the government!

  • Keep up the great work. Thanks for providing the video that we don't see on mainstream media. Citizens now need to provide the media since our mainstream media is controlled by the very few. Protecting the internet and freedom of speech is more crucial now then ever and the movement needs others to provide a real outlet for media and accountablility. The cameras are our weapons and all of us together is our power. Together we can spread the message of economic justice. CheckVidsfromOWC

  • Cute.

I'm sure the guy in the suit was part of the act, however.

  • You should set it so that mobile users can see too, no reason to restrict viewing platforms.

  • This is amazing.

  • How awful that a video like this seems to have inspired nothing but venom and rage in all of you. Did none of you get it?

  • @SandraFowler thumbs down

  • Let me get this straight

These people would rather dance then go get a job?

And the shitty Black Eyed Peas song.....fucking terrible!

Oh and the old business man shaking hands with the black guy? Yup he's an actor paid to do that!

  • I don't know about this it's all a bit fluffy bunnies, I don't think governments give a fuck about this kind of protest, seriously if it was Syria they just machine gun them all. I'm really beginning to switch off the OWS movement, Can't imagine Gandhi or MLK involved in protest by performance art. There needs to be a leadership in these movements, never has there been a movement that could coalesce without this. Then again this is my opinion, I could be wrong in which case good luck to you.

  • @1davidcampbell This kind of protest has overthrown nearly a dozen governments in the past decade. You need to do some fucking research before you step on here spouting bullshit assumptions. The Serbians did precisely this kind of protest movement and overthrew Slobodan Milosevic without a declared leader. Just because your corporate media don't report on it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

  • @fram4153 Firstly don't swear at me you sob, secondly are you telling me a dance spectacle overthrew Milosevic? Bullshit they organised political rallies nearly a million for the Ušće rally. Did I say a declared leader I said leadership, anyway save the attitude for the powers that be, whenever you guys have finished lap dancing for them.

  • @fram4153 then how come yours is a bust?

  • I mean, I'm glad that people like this video. Fiction is nice and comforting, but none of this does any good in the "real world." If OWS hasn't already "gotten people taking" then a terribly naive, cheesy dance video isn't going to do it. Heck, I support OWS and this is just nails on a chalkboard to me.

  • You should really make this available for mobile viewers. It would look great in my iPad.

  • @janprimus Indeed. I'd love to download this and pass it on. As it is I'm forwarding this to as many people as I can.

  • I'm usually not an optimistic person but I love this.

  • And the news guy who pointed out the dude in the business suit was bewildered is a moron. OF COURSE the business suit guy was a part of this--it helps to make the point.

  • Bad.

  • Art and Music always get the message across to everyone in the best way! LOVE THIS

  • it might be cheesy and cutesy or fake looking, but we need to go back to the basics and bring it back to the people and be one. no longer separated by social class, money etc. <3 this makes me happy.

  • this is fake

  • Wonderful people! Anyone who trys to despise them are just pissed because their actually making a difference while you sit at home and say "their the lazy ones" Get off your butts trolls! Do something with your life, Join the Movement! Make REAL change :)

  • good cause and message but the shittest flash mob ive seen :L

  • What a beautiful expression of human joy, hope, and unity. Thanks for making my day.

  • I suppose if this inspires people I can't say it's a bad thing. But for the first time ever I feel bad for the businessman.

And you know not everyone that wants to improve the world wants to get all happy fun lets all hug and be best pals.

  • this is great and all and im all up for people being creative... but... ughh im sorry it was incredibly cutesy and cheesy!! THERE I SAID IT IM SORRY!!

  • This is MY America...

  • Hope...?

  • This is great and so inspiring. Movements should inspire, that causes people to get off their asses and do something... was the guy in the suit in on it?

  • if this is your version of awake, you should go back to sleep

  • @americannable do you have a heart inside that chest of yours.. are you human?

  • @deexjayx yeah i have a heart and a backbone. how about you?

  • @americannable ww entelechyjournal. com/robinsonwilson.htm << check out : add another "w." & removes the spaces.. this is what woke me up read the table. and go fall in love with someone.

  • this is beautiful. ive watched it two times. an i cannot stop shedding tears of joy.

  • In a monetary system, democracy is an illusion perpetuated to give the populace a feeling of participation in a so-called democratic process.

    /watch?v=4Z9WVZddH9w

  • 0:36 Oh look, it's "Casually Pepper Spraying Everything-Cop"!

  • Yaay. I miss San Francisco. Wish I could afford to live there again!

  • Please make this video and future ones able to be viewed on mobile devices. Occupy now!

  • 1:57 is my city

  • This video was awesome! I spent a couple of days visiting and marching with the Occupy SF the last week of Oct. I cried when I heard of the monstrous way the camp was finally taken down. The success of this video and photos of the group on Ocean Beach explain why they are such a threat to "corporate welfare and personhood". It's difficult to maintain the vision of dirty homeless, dangerous, bums and scum occupiers when we have videos of reality such as this. Long live the Occupy movement.

  • I BELIEVE IN YOU OCUPY!!

  • Suits Beware!

  • Hi, please enable mobile viewing for this video. Just a checkbox in the settings. Not viewable on mobile currently. Thanks!!

  • This brought me to tears and am going to continue to paste it on FB everyday until we see the change we know can be!@!

  • Look at their faces - these are GOOD people.

  • Equality for all!

  • that was... beautiful! keep stuff like this spreading! love! love! love!

  • I still got one good leg to stand on and boogie with. Peace.

  • Occupy everything!

  • The people finally AWAKEN!

  • Falta España!!

  • celebrate the movement. we are all one!

  • I actually agree with the GDuff123 message. This flash mob is nice but doesn't really have a big meaning... is quite empty and obviously the people that made it are not into what is really happening here!!! It is sad to see how the Occupy Movement is losing its essence ...

  • sorry if this has been addressed but....was the white dude in the suit in on it?

  • @oh2love4love

    Yeah, I think so.

  • Thank you for posting this. It is so beautiful. Anyone who does not see the beauty in this and understand the message is lost.

  • Okay, I'm gonna get sick of Occupy real fast if they don't take some real action. I'm sure a flash mob will bring the change this country needs. (HEAVY sarcasm.)

Maybe instead of bickering over tents and dancing, Occupy could remind our government the people are in charge.

But no, let's pretend that 99% of the people are included, when OWS ignores 98% of their ideas in order to stick to their own agenda.

I want to support them, but they need to actually do something to stand up for people.

  • @GDuff123 U mad bro?

  • @AnonNumberZero Absolutely.

  • @GDuff123 why don't you take the action that the "they" hasn't...

  • @GDuff123 Dude, come on... let me remind you that there are people getting off their asses and finding creative ways to demonstrate and inspire while you sit on your ass and bitch about how they're not doing enough. why don't you get off your ass and go be part of the movement and share your ideas then? Maybe you can organize something instead of bitching from behind a computer screen...

  • @fizXgirl314 Really? And what proof do you have that I am not participating in an organization?

Maybe instead of regurgitating what you hear from internet trolls you can wise up a bit.

And how are they demonstrating and inspiring? They're dancing in a street. Its like a pathetic Truth commercial.

Also, not a good idea to defend Occupy's unwillingness to act by saying "Oh, well i dont think you do anything, so you are wrong."

Tell me how this flash mob helps Americans.

  • @fizXgirl314 you mean "why don't you shake your ass?"

  • @fizXgirl314 The only people this inspired are the choir who, it seems, also have time to "sit on their asses" and discuss it.

  • @fizXgirl314 I agree brother. I've been at occupy portland since it started and the facebook crap is people bitching about how the government is run by money but they don't do a god damn thing to change it. They just sit on their asses and bitch at people who are doing something.

  • @fizXgirl314 And how do you know s/he hasn't? That's a pretty damn big assumption you're making. Slick dance productions won't make real change. Watching this reminds me of everything that's wrong with the left and this country in general. Once upon a time those resisting big business tyranny in the US would go on strike, man mass picket lines and arm themselves if necessary and fight the company gun thugs, police, and even military in the streets and the hills, not make dance vids

  • @GlamorousTurd I'm a he, just so you dont have to guess anymore. :)

And i appreciate you standing up for me, even though you have no clue who I am. Thank you.

Also, I think we share the same point, in that dancing is very lovely and expressionable, but it's entertainment, not noteworthy action that will incite change. True action is definitely necessary, and ideas at all levels should be considered and practiced en masse, in my opinion.

    Thank you again. :)

  • @GlamorousTurd Occupy has taken a more peaceful route, and they are getting involved with picket lines ie West Coast Port Shutdown, which Japan was also involved in.

  • @fizXgirl314 Already am organized, already have taken action.

Take your cult of personality and shove it up your ass. Also, it's ironic to insult me over a computer screen, and bitch, then complain that I am bitching.

Also, the movement has forcefully rejcted my ideas. I was informed that my local Occupy is not open to new ideas, as they refuse to change their course of action in any way.

So actually, I was told I could not join. Please explain how these people care about me or my community.

  • @fizXgirl314 Also, I stand for the message that Occupy sends, my quarrel is with Occupy itself-they are doing too little, too late. Millions continue to suffer, and you are angry with me because I have the balls to admit that there are flaws in the methodology of Occupy. That is to say, the practice, not the purpose. If im prevented from sharing my ideas(YOU are living proof of that), then how am I supposed to be heard? Thats why im not in Occupy, and thats why I waste time preaching on Youtube.

  • @GDuff123 once again, I don't see the point in telling OTHER people they aren't doing enough when you yourself aren't doing anything at all. Whatever, I don't really care but I'm not gonna go around in circles with this argument. Say what you will, I'm just pointing out your hypocrisy...

  • @fizXgirl314 ONCE AGAIN. I am in an organization, I AM taking action. Also, its wonderful that I try to reason with you, but you continue to insult me.

Your attitude suggests you are frustrated by the fact that you, in essence, do not know what I have done, and you are running out of insults. So, call me a hipocrit, ergo confirming what I have stated. Not even an attempt to deny the trouble, just an attempt to flame me for speaking harshly about something you clearly can't understand.

  • @GDuff123 take a valium and get outta my face, I don't care what you do. jeez *eyeroll*

  • @fizXgirl314 Then dont say I dont do anything. Like im just gonna let you insult me, and pretend that anything you are saying is remotely valid. Also, your attitude reflects very well on Occupy, you make the protesters look SOOO kind and open to new ideas and intellectuals. Hopefully you at can at least comprehend sarcasm.

  • @GDuff123 damn, are you still talking? Did I say I represent all protesters ? Newsflash, i don't... I also don't represent all women, all people who have pictures wearing blue shirts, all people who post on youtube, all people with a laptop or all people who have to deal with idiot comments. Why don't you stfu and enjoy the beautiful video... and yet you continue to BITCH!

  • @GDuff123 if you really been to the camp you would know it is full of intellectuals with such conversations. I do notice sometimes people bring up ideas that are already in effect. That is the down side of starting late on a movement. Maybe that is how your ideas got shot down. Solution? asking questions but you know that.. Also sarcasm doesn't show that well here online hehe. good day

  • @shadowlesswalls I have actually, and my info is based on my experience.

These people are DANCING!!! How in God's name are we gonna experience change from a flash mob?

If Occupy can actually accomplish something and help my community, I'll eat my words. But Occupy has declined new ideas, failed to take proper action, and we have not witnessed any benefit arise from Occupy, nor any indication that it will, so long as they continue to hold these sad excuses for protest.

  • @GDuff123 ? If you know the occupy movement you would know they all don't go around dancing every time all over the place. You have some people that want to make protest fun even though this is a serious matter. Occupy did do many things. First of all occupy points the finger to hidden laws or new ones that try and get passed unseen. It shows clearly the problem of police brutality, show if you ever want to protest peacefully you can't without getting hurt and arrested for it.

  • it shows we don't have freedoms we thought we had. It shows press is arrested or threaten to lose credentials if you don't obay. Freedom of press, speech, assembly is now a myth. Occupy points out money in politics and many more important issues i can list that may fall into death ears.Occupy current phase is to inform and that is what they are doing. Only in masses can we change back to constitutional ways. Our gov been hijacked look up the NDAA and see for yourself

  • @shadowlesswalls

    1. Occupy doesnt point out laws, sources such as anonymous and russia today and all the random people out there with the sources give the information to Occupy, and Occupy uses it's current publicity to spread these messages. This is not a bad thing, but it is not very effective in implicating change.

    2. Police brutality has been a problem that the populace is aware of for a long time. The Civil Rights movement is a big one. We were already aware of these monsters.

  • @GDuff123 In Occupy you have a voice, by not showing up you are the one preventing your voice from being heard. The movement needs a continued growth of people who support the message sharing their ideas on how we can be effective. Please join us, you are very passionate and I bet you have some really good ideas.

  • @daisyd33 I can only type this so many times before you read it: I WAS ALREADY IN THE FUCKING MOVEMENT, AND THEY SILENCED ME AND MULTIPLE GROUPS OF PEOPLE FOR SUGGESTING CHANGE. "Please join us, you are very passionate". I was forcefully removed and silenced by OWS. Sorry, I already joined, I have the bruises and your horrible refusal to progress to prove it.

"I bet you have some really good ideas." I did, Occupy is not open to new ideas, only the directives that they have placed.

  • @GDuff123? if any idea was rejected it must have been violent ones. These modern days you can't have violent protest. Look up infiltrators and provocateurs. They destroy any movement from within and out. This movement will remain peaceful and win only the main stream media delayed the growth. People are catching main stream media lies about the movement and learning what they are about. People don't do crime a few feet away from police when they have every where else they can do it.

  • @shadowlesswalls news don't suppose to form opinion and make you think it's fact. It suppose to present it and remain neutral and let you decide. The very people occupy are fighting control the media and will of course paint a bad picture and not say we are against them and the top .001%

  • @daisyd33 Look man, you dont have to listen, but if Occupy does not take action they will be punished. We are trusted you with our lives, Occupy has failed us. Occupy is a joke.

    What have you actually accomplished?

And honestly, i dont care what you believe, you are the same person who just claimed that DANCING is going to bring forth the change and revolutionary drive we need.

Idiots like you deserve a bullet to the head for all the true revolutionaries you contribute to silencing.

  • @GDuff123 I'm definitely not going to join someone who says I deserve a bullet in the head just because I forgot to check my messages on youtube and didn't reply. I am a very intelligent person actually. Through observing others I have found that people were meant to create, even if it is a dance group. The problem with society is that people do not feel empowered to create. Most jobs make us destroy things that do not bring money in.
