Indian companies and lots of other countries do coding because that is the basis of software engineering. Even Filipino's and Chinese know how to do it. @hellgate112007 I believe you are mistaken. Both Navy and navigation come from the Latin root of Navis (ship). That being said the similarity is to be expected since both Latin and Sanskrit are part of the Indo-European family of languages and thus a lot of their words have a common ancestor. As to Navigation being invented in Sind, lets just say it seems rather Indo-centric to ascribe to one particular culture an rather basic skill most peoples developed independently.

Despite whether being proud of not, this scene makes no sense. Seriously, how dumb Katrina to think that He wouldn't know english? How dumb are her parents set her up with someone that may not be educated? And how dumb is he to go for someone like her? As I said about him speaking punjabi, which he did in PARTS OF THE FILM. YES, I know this movie is in HINDI. I only wrote punjabi once, when you assumed I thought he was speaking punjabi at the end of first paragraph.

Everyone on here is missing the point - he said Namaste to say that he thinks we're neither superior nor inferior to ANYone . So guys dont hate britishers. There are bad/good people everywhere. Some of the facts stated are right and some grossly wrong. For instance, 'Many of the origins of your words come from Sanskrit'. . . well there are most certainly a few words that have been borrowd, the same way how present hindi speakers use borrowed words from urdu/arabic. Gross exaggeration since English branches out from Germanic languages and Sanskrit from 'Indo-Iranian' - major sub-families of the Indo-European group.

@QuasarMe well...i wud like to point out the fact that Sanskrit is one of the oldest (actually oldest i guess) language of the world....secondly...urdu was developed as a combo of hindi n arabic...so hindi hasnt borrowed words frm urdu at least...thirdly...of course inclusion of words (borrowed from other languages) hav taken place...bt thats only in the modern era (wat will u call internet in hindi??...internet ryt)...n english has borrowed maximum words (how do u think eng has 540,000 words??)

To start with Sanskrit is ONE of the oldest languages in the world and going by written records its Sumerian.. Go to wikipedia and look at 'List_of_languages_by_first_written_accounts'. You said 'hindi hasnt borrowed words frm urdu at least'... I was talking about Hindustani.. kitaab(book) aadat(behaviour) are some examples of commonly used loanwords having Arabic origin.

@buddycrashin You said 'english has borrowed maximum words', correction.. if you see any language under the Indo-European family, you'll find many loan words and 'parallels' that obviously sound very similar because ultimately Sanskrit(other Indo-Aryan languages), Germanic, or Romance languages(French, Italian, Romanian, etc.) can be traced to back to a 'parent' proto-Indo-European. I don't mean to be rude but please do acquaint yourself with some basics of linguistics before commenting.
