@HobbsCanuck New vegas was way closer to Fallout 1 and 2 in both story and atmosphere and is considerd by many old fallout fans to be the real sequal to fallout 2. Fallout 3 screwed up alot of the factions, raped the canon, made everything besides guns and lockpick mostly useless and was made way to grim and depressing for a fallout game. New vegas was actually made by many of the fallout 1/2 developers and in my opinion they showed bethesda how its done.

Don't get me wrong, it's an okay game, but the speech and karma system ruined it! Not enough karma usage and more reputation which I didn't like much.
