In nature, lots of animals are homosexual and use homosexuality to reinforce group bonds. Humans are uniquely homophobic. So do not compare bigoted humans to animals - it is an insult to animals. We may be intelligent but we are far more destructive and vicious creatures than animals are, especially towards each other.
