There is NOTHING wrong with tabs, especially for when you're initially learning guitar. As a music reader (with a degree in music performance), I must admit, tabs have been VERY beneficial to me in learning the guitar, so I definitely can't bash them. Get off your high horses. :)

I'm a violinist, and played this first on violin, but recently acquired a guitar, and am now trying to adapt it for guitar, but it's slow-going trying to figure out the most comfortable way to play this... I'm assuming you use actual music, but do you have tabs to describe which frets you use on which strings for the different notes? I suppose I could watch your vid a million times to figure it out, but that would take forever!

wow can I "thumbs down half the comments on the page. There is HUGE advantage to learning music theory and reading sheet but for my first years playing I only used tabs and turned out just fine until I actually learned sheet.

Coming along good, I'd say you've fine tuned the song a good bit since the time you'd uploaded the video. To get a full run is pretty impressive by the way, this is a tough song, incredibly challenging in many ways.
