  • i love them . i had this back in the day . the albums sweet

  • 2:40 = total O face.

  • CANADIAN :D

  • I fucking love this band,damn,they rock

  • Anyone else notice how at 2:50 the drummer and the song overlay don't match?

  • @mopar4t4 its a music of course there gonna be off a bit (no offence) but great band and bi wreck is getting back together for a possible tour woo

  • I think the poster referring to the singer sounding like Chris Cornell, was referencing 1:28 & 1:50......And From a HUGE Chris Cornell Fan....In those two-four seconds he sounds IDENTICAL to C.C.! But as a whole, He doesn't. Just my humble opinion though.

  • Omfg. I used to love this song when i was in like grade 7! I was lying in bed just now and I remember the name of the band and just thought OMFG, and now im hear. Definately an underrated band. :D

  • 8lac3 is probably in love with paul stanley and his favorite kiss song would be you make me rock hard, dont be such a fag.

  • i love u guys...and ian ur smokin hot man

  • one of my very most favorites and i never ever get tired of it

  • fuk this guy looks fukin ugly , jus want to knock him out cold

  • @8LAC3 I'm positive Ian could kick your ass.

  • 3 Days grace was Influenced by Alice in Chains

Puddle of Mudd was Influenced by Nirvana

Creed was Influenced by Pearl Jam

Thornley was influenced by Soundgarden, who was influenced by Stone Temple Pilots?

  • @Sithlord703 Awesome bands you listed, both the predecessors and successors.

Thornley, whether influenced by Soundgarden or not, sounds a LOT like Chris Cornell... and in my opinion, that's fucking awesome.

  • @Sithlord703 you forgot: Big Wreck influenced by Big Sugar.

  • @Sithlord703 NO. If you listen to the first 2 Big Wrecks albums you'll hear more Led Zep inlfuence than Soundgarden. This Thornley stuff was a mistake IMHO, too mainstream and too much like Nickleback.

  • Holy shit I wonder how many back problems that bassist has developed, he plays so low!

  • why come again, when we can just stay on repeat (put repeat after youtube in the address bar and we have thornley to infinite!)

  • I've seen Soundgarden; I've seen Big Wreck; I saw 'Thornley'. 2/3 times my lungs hurt.

And, I don't smoke. This song was part of my audio breathing difficulties ... at the time.

  • God, I miss Sekou Lumumba... That man is a percussive genius. At least Bedouin Soundclash is putting his skills to good use.

  • He was soooo much better in Big Wreck too bad they broke up.

  • I guess this is living.

  • Great song + Epic Video = Pure Awesomeness

  • his sounds a little like Chris Cornell.... and that is not bad at all I Think ^^.... cool band

  • @jerefoxleycba lol he sounds NOTHING like chris cornell

  • @JohnPetrucci251, I agree. He only sounds like Cornell on some of his higher notes.

  • @jerefoxleycba check out big wreck, his earlier and now newly reformed band, waay waay better, alot more grungy alternative 90's sound, less overproduced sounding. He sounds alot more chris cornelly on that shit.

  • ian thornley never fails.

  • Happy Birthday Canada!!!

  • Its like theory of a nicklecreed the guy.

  • this song transends amazing. one of the most powerful rock songs Ive ever heard, makes me feel proud to be canadian

  • The power of this song is so fucking amazing.

  • what the hell...how is it possible to not like this...anyway what are people looking at stuff for if they dont' like it, this or anyother song, i know i dont think of stuff i dislike and then go look at it

  • @mrsmissfit1 I say that ALL the time! It makes absolutely NO sense to me! If I dislike something or someone, I don't go out of my way to find them, or track them down!

  • awesome song,,hear it all the time when i am in Canada....

  • Really, really good song.

  • This is what I call... Crap !

  • @phyxed123 You are what I call... a Faggot!

  • @dfbhcf You like cheap crappy music, just face the truth. End of conversation.

  • @phyxed123 You call this cheap crappy music? Obviously you've never heard Nickelback, Theory of a Deadman, or any other generic vulgar bands. Maybe you should face the truth and realize Ian Thornley is one of the most talented and underrated Canadian musicians in the last 20 years, and he and Big Wreck are one of the most underrated bands as well. You don't like him? Fine. But don't go onto his video's and leave ridiculous insults. It just makes you look pathetic and tasteless.

  • @dfbhcf No music is crap my friend. Everybody is entitled to an opinion and some people prefer Rap over Rock or Rock over Metal and Reggae over Techno. It's all about personality and personal choices.

  • a true talent that came out before it's time.. great music.

  • I love this

  • i don't understand how an amazing song like this can only get 100 000 views!!!

  • i like these guys, im a huge Chris Cornell fan and the lead singers voice reminds me of his.

  • this is for those 5 people, please don't let your pets get on the computer they obviosly do some stupid mistakes

  • Comment removed

  • The guy's voice reminds me of Chris Cornell from Soundgarden. You can disagree if you want, its just my opinion. Either way, this song is pretty good.

  • @Gunnyrba

He even bears a slight resemblance of Chris. I caught one of their songs in the chorus and thought it was a new Cornell material, lol.

  • loved see,in him and partying with him and friends!!! gd times!!!! and courtney love rocks too lol(inside joke)

  • Easily one of the most underrated albums of all time, every single song on the album is as good as the last. I wish more people had the pleasure of hearing it

  • love it!!!!! haven't seen you guys since edge fest99!!! loving the music evan more!!!! was a greattime with you guys and hole headlining it!!!! hope to see you guys again soon!!!!!

  • love it!!!!!

  • love it!

  • You guys need to stfu and [LISTEN TO THE MUSIC] eh??

  • is it just me or does this recording sound like its skipping every once in a while? I love this song, but i can't listen to this, it's driving me a little crazy.

  • sounds soooo good!!! love it!!

  • I never heard of this guy or Big Wreck. Just found this a couple of days ago and must say this tune and vid are kick ass!!! He kinda sounds like Chris Cornell but the video reminds me of something from lenny kravitz . Killer shit and I will be adding alot of his music to my collection!

  • @Carlizer Ian Thornley is a lyrical/musical genius. Glad you found out about the amazing music :) rock on

  • @Carlizer cornell - most def! it came to me too on first thought

  • I never tire of this, this one plus blown wide open

  • This is pretty unique. Not sure I've heard too much like it. Awesome.

  • fkin pro shit, not recognized as such tho :(

  • great combo of somewhat heavy guitar, good melody, and Thornley's voice...I'm partial though, I was a Big Wreck fan.

  • singer makes me think of chris cornell. fuckin sick song

  • one of my favorite Thornley songs. :)

  • Personally, I find it difficult to come again.

  • @jglasspoole that's your problem

  • wasnt that bass player in a theory of a deadman video?

  • One of my favorite songs of all time.

  • strange blend of band members but they sound Great!

  • How is this song and band not more popular?? I like them 10x better than any pop or dance stuff out today with 10 000 000 views. thornley rocks! great melody and rock combined

  • Dont you hate it when justin bieber fans dislike good music???

  • @killjoi577 so thats why there's only 4 people that don't like music lol

  • will thornley ever come to europe?

    please come!

  • Shut up and hit replay

  • I never knew that Forrest Whitaker was the drummer in Thornley's band, much less even able to play rock drums at all, ha ha!

  • @tchimmerroks Just b/c he's black doesn't make him Forest Whitaker... Not trying to be an asshole, but the only thing they share in common is skin color. And possibly gender.

  • bad ass song,

  • Man i the Drums in this song! when i'm driving i just air drum in traffic lol people must think i'm whacked!! =D

  • @Landry153 oops ment to say i LOVE the Drums lol

  • love him sooo hot even now!!!

  • Not enough views.

  • @MikeMusicMartin Actually the line is 'All this and more'

  • I Miss Big Wreck. 100% underrated band ever. glad to see Thornley's still going. glad i found this.

  • I always wished they woulda made a video for "Falling to pieces" i LOVE that song.

  • Hey everyone should come check us out and tell us what you think!

  • I sold CD"s for them at 8Ball aka Twisters in Chatham, Ontario like right before this hit all the radios. Tony always did have awesome taste in music.

  • watching this makes me think that this is four guys that just love music

  • rock forever <3

  • wow the fag that disliked must die

  • @kajyRHC Amen dude.

  • @kajyRHC how typical that thornley fans call people fags when they don't like thornley

  • These guys are incredible, they play at this bar a few blocks away like every couple of months :)

Really nice guys, and so very talented.

  • Quite possibly the greatest Canadian artist ever!!

  • Ian Thornley reminds me of Chris Cornell a hell of a lot in this video and song.

  • seen them open for nickleback in cranbrook, they made waiting in the beer line up awesome! a great band, just got my son into big wreck, got to listen to bands that actually sound the same in person as they do on cd. that is why rock, like thornley and nickel back and theory of a deadman, will live and disco techno will go the way of the dinosaurs!..hopefully die a quicker death though!

  • Just saw them live in St. Kitts last night. Just awesome!

  • @britex123 i was thinkin the same thing. he kinda sounds like him a bit too

  • the lead singers looks alot like chris cornell

  • They NEED to come to Austin, TX!!

  • Is it just me or is this band full of actual douche bags?

  • @tjonmcd No, it's just you.

  • @tjonmcd Is it just me or does everyone else think you're a jealous prick who'll never do anything with his life?

    They made it, you didn't.

Go listen to something else if you don't like it you dumbass.

  • @Dixon917 I didn't say there was anything wrong with the music, they just look like dicks. Look at their bass player.

  • @tjonmcd Their bass player would give hit shirt off his back for a stranger. Nicest guy ever, and talented at more than just bass :)

  • @tjonmcd I agree. I'm a pretty big fan of Thornley, but that bass player looks really knobby. Saw him last month and it's a new guy now at least.

  • @blackflag311 omgawd, he does not look knobby., he looks like the most badass guy ever, he is my bass idol! haha it sucks they got a new bass player, he was so into the music :(

  • One of my favorite songs of all time. Incredible.

  • wow ken does amazing backup vocals on this tune... amazing song and amazing group... glad to see Big Wreck has "come again"

  • black drummer ftw...not cuz im black :)

  • Saw this on Monday live...awesome as usual!

  • Chuck Norris prefers Thornley to Cornell.

  • I can NOOOT waiit for them no come to Grande Prairie ! :D

  • Seeing all those chicks.. Ian is a chick magnet.. lol i envy you..

  • This guy is so underrated.

  • CAN'T... STOP... LISTENING...THISsss!!!!!

  • yeah me too and i would love it

  • **Yes I've become the rock 'n roll cliche, because I'm looking for revenge...**

Lol I could watch that part over and over again....I can't believe I forgot about this song....f'n love it!

  • It's such a crime that great rock bands like this one,-are not recognized for there talent and great songs. Over in Europe and japan these bands have quite a strong loyal fan base that is truly amazing. I wish here in the states, this music was actually played and supported on radio and music channels. Thank god for the internet!

  • NO WAIT HOME ALONEEEE!!!!!!!! ALL THIS AND MORE (NO MACAULY CALKIN IN THIS) >:)

  • I.... STILL.. WALK HOME ALL ALONE

  • @stingray531 i say stop spamming my favorite band

  • @stingray531 ROCK WILL NEVER DIE

  • @stingray531

You post one of these stupid spam things with some absurd made up statistic at the bottom, I mock you for your stupidity. Rock will never die. It's not a matter of us letting it or not.

In other news, great song, I saw these guys in concert in August, and they were amazing.

  • @TheRealDocBone agreed.

  • @TheRealDocBone rock will never die because non-musicians need music to sing to and play to as well

A little late for that, wouldn't you say?

  • Comment removed

  • @chica476 not if its gonna be done next july :) and tbh i dont listen to any of the listen bands but i support this movement cause well.... beiber sucks balls

  • @darkstar759 The A-pop-calypse has already begun it's all over

  • "Easy Comes" is the only song by Thornley that's good. I bought "Come Again" thinking I'd get more songs like "Easy Comes" but I was robbed!

  • @MattBeckstrom haha you're an idiot.

  • @MattBeckstrom that sucks

  • that sucks

  • Tavis is so hot.

  • I remember when this album first came out. I heard it over and over again, and I never get sick of it. That's how great this band is, let alone their debut album!

  • 4 such a good band they are not really 2 popular, they deserve to be more popular

  • @Devl495 i totally agree for some reason you hardly even ever hear them on the radio and there better than alot of the other popular bands that you hear all the time

  • Just seen them live and got my picture taken with Ian totally awesome

  • Omg the eyebrow at the beginning <3... This song is amazing.

  • amazing

  • Wanna know whats crazy, My last Name is Thornley and i wanted to check out what google had to say about my last name so i typed it in and i got this beautiful band hahah This song never gets old!

  • Im happy these guys don't have major recognition like some others e.g Nickelback, it's just for us to enjoy without people who think they know the band because of one song e.g Nickelback - Rockstar. Sorry Nickelback fans but they sold out.

  • @deathbeforeboredom I hate to break it to you, but if you think that's the only song they're known for, you haven't been paying attention the last 10 years.

  • @deathbeforeboredom

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my fucking life. These guys DESERVE major recognition for what they do. Music is meant to be enjoyed by everyone, the bigger they get the better, because they deserve it. Don't be happy because a great band is less popular than some other band.

  • @deathbeforeboredom I see yer point. I think that sometimes when bands get popular and mainstream, they begin picking up many different fans and sometimes they kinda lose thier creative edge. Sometimes, the quality of music takes a back seat just for the sake of simply making music to just put out there. I'm a fan of early nickelback... I felt there was some real creativity there...now their music kinda has a just for radio feel to it. Just my opinion.

  • Who else thinks Ian Thornley sounds a bit like Chris Cornell?

  • I heard this song at work today and I couldn't get it out of my head. Truly a catchy song

  • What does it take to be successful...Theory of a Dead Man,Nickleback?,,,I'm puzzled by this...we'll it does not matter what I think?....all I know is that when I listen to this piece, it's sheer enjoyment, I listen to it with reverence! I realize, like Art, Music is subjective..."to each there own" but it does not fit comfortably with me! fuck it, enough said!........"it's a classic".

  • @biologicalbubble pseudo-intellectual alert

  • Thornley has a great voice, too bad he's Canadian and never got the recognition he deserves.

  • nice song

  • I saw them in Toronto earlier this year. I really wanted to see the black drummer, I love watching him. But they had some new white guy who opens his mouth every time he hit the snare drum, was kinda annoying.

  • @DdragonforceF

Same here I saw them live in St. Catharines at Arizonas Tap and Grill (now shut down) but the black drummer was absolutely amazing!

  • pretty safe to say this is one of the best songs ever!

  • I'M FEELING THIS!!

  • This song is amazing!

  • loove it :)

  • i dont get tierd of thsi son ithere i liek the way he hade his eye at the beging of the song

  • Great tune you rock ian

  • hellish!!!! i got their CD

  • really cleans the dust out of the JBL's!
