@samboleh In most cases, yes, but in the case of this clip, that's a big no.  They replaced the music with the "Egyption God Hymn" that they made in-house, which just sound so bad-ass. It's what I'd expect to hear if God ever descended from the heavens with the sole purpose of wiping me from existence.

@samboleh It's a matter of opinion, that's all. The songs played in the background set two completely different moods. In the Japanese version, the background music played on the theme of the hero being able to turn the tides on the villain and triumph in the face of adversity. In the 4Kids dub, the background music played on the theme that Yugi just summoned a gigantic red dragon god to descend from the heavens to obliterate his opponent. To me, the latter is just so much more bad-ass.

@samboleh Mind you, that isn't to say that I prefer the 4Kids dub in any way. It ruined any chance that Yu-Gi-Oh! ever might of had at being a respectable franchise here in the States. I'm just not a whiny little fanboy who refuses to recognize that the dub might have actually had it's good points, and might of even been able to surpass the original version in some respects.
