I actually investigated the translation myself. In Farsi, the phrase is 'امام گفت این رژیم آار ایشقلگر آار قدس باید از صفحه یه روزگار محو شود.' The correct translation would be something to the effect of 'Imam said that the Jerusalem-occupying regime's page of time (or era) must be eliminated.' mahv (محو) shavad does not mean 'vanish from' but 'be eliminated.'
The verb construction mahv shodan is intransitive i.e. it doesn't take an object whereas "eliminated" requires an object. This is why "vanish from" is prefered.

Israel protects its own citizens, while Palestinians are using their own citizens to get points in the media. So Israeli children are saved, and Palestinians put their children in the front line.

I actually investigated the translation myself. In Farsi, the phrase is 'امام گفت این رژیم آار ایشقلگر آار قدس باید از صفحه یه روزگار محو شود.' The correct translation would be something to the effect of 'Imam said that the Jerusalem-occupying regime's page of time (or era) must be eliminated.' mahv (محو) shavad does not mean 'vanish from' but 'be eliminated.'

Not to mention his common calls of "Death to Israel." Also when he was asked if he wanted Israel to be wiped off the map several times, he did not respond when he could have denied it. Ahmadinejad has said many other things ranging from Holocaust denial to calling Israel a stinking corpse. There really isn't much room left for argument about the threat he poses to Israel, in my opinion. I wouldn't leave my life in the hands of a lunatic with a nuke.

Normally, the memri video is produced where Ahmadinejad talks about the protesters around the world who during the time of the Israel attack on Lebanon were chanting death to israel.

Syria and Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran call for the destruction of Israel or support it. Hezballah was victorious over Israel in 2000 and 2006 and Hamas was victorious over Israel in January 2009. I dont know when its going to happen but i know its comming really soon
