hey G.I. Joe ever heard of Yugoslavia? thats what happens when you get different ethnic and religous groups that can not inhabitat. everyone get ready and keep ammo.
why is someone who is a veteran get placed on a pedestal in our society? before ww2 americans thought people who joined the army were dunces. our society is militarized now that a civilian who disagrees with a veteran or one these whore anylist on tv who was a general has thier patritism questioned. we now have an underclass of hispanics working here for low wages. this lowers wages for everyone else who is here legally. so yeay I want the border secure.
"Curb spending"???? This guy was sucking on the public tit for years while he was in the army!! And now he's collecting a pension paid for by taxpayers!! If we want to cut spending I suggest we END HIS PENSION NOW!
@casabravo666 Your statement is rude and uncalled for. If there is anyone we should provide pensions for it should be for those who have bravely served this nation. Mr. Alborn served for 20 years and ask you to rescind your arrogant comments.
Me arrogant? This guy is dishing out his self righteous BS about how the country should be run while at the same time sucking on the public tit! Me thinks he is the arrogant one!
If someone is injured in the line of duty, then I can see society looking after them. This guy should get out and get a REAL job. Then he may understand how this nation REALLY works. You should try it too!
"If there is anyone we should provide pensions for it should be for those who have bravely served this nation."
So what! Tons of people have worked hard for this nation and they are not receiving tax payer funded pensions! I suspect you are on the same "gravy train" and are simply trying to justify what you are stealing from the taxpayers.
@UncleJohn56 What do you mean lib shit? I am very conservative, never voted for a liberal in my life, never will. So trying to offend ppl and serve your country in combat!
You "think" yer a con. Anyone who says, "we should provide pensions" does not know the meaning of conservatism. "We" should not provide pensions for anyone! Pensions are socialist.
I have no deserve to serve in combat. I already have tax money stolen from me to pay others to do it.
I maintain my position. The man in this vid has no right to talk down to anyone. He is taking taxpayer money.
@UncleJohn56 Yes I am a conservative, you sound like a libertarian, not a conservative. Conservatives have always been for increasing and improving benefits and pay for veterans and military personnel. Ive never heard any person, liberal or conservative, say they oppose pensions and benefits for military personnel. Even Ron Paul, "Dr. No", supports increasing benefits and pensions for military veterans.
@Willredd94 hey how about not getting into these dumb "conservative" or "progressive humanitarian" wars? then we might not have to increase those pensions and benifits so much......
@Willredd94 why should one serve thier country in combat? war is the health of the state. these wars are drumbed up for dumb immoral reasons. whats so wonderful about putting wealth towards combat. progressives love armies and war. war is crap
Its an Agenda, there are no candidates... Your vote was never counted. Taking bad guys out from the sky?? How are these rich elite suppose to make money that way, they need some dead soldiers to ship heroin back. You see, its not really the Citizens fault when the whole system is corrupt. Obama/Bush WTF does it matter?? 2 words here.."unfixed mortgage", They've been forclosing houses with this one for decades. Generally being exploited shouldnt bring shame on the victims.
Notice the liberal comments: "Build your government policy considerably" or STOP THE WAR? Or this fantasy mass of people who lied to get credit (FACT = maybe 1% of the problem) or the lie that "we're all to blame," are all LIBERAL talking points to get your eyes off Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi. 98 percent of the UNITED STATES CITIZENRY HAD NO PART IN THIS CORRUPTION EXCEPT BEING ROBBED TO PAY FOR IT! AND GET IT IN YOUR HEAD LIAR, WE ARE A REPUBLIC! This is JEALOUS SNEAKY SCARED LIBERALS!
When you do get a good politican that does what is right, and not only focus on getting votes, they are raked through the coals as being a trader and communist.
Special interest groups and lobbyists wouldn't have as much power, if public wasn't so easily swayed by tv ads and politics of fear.
@YOURpervertexposer Frank and Pelosi?? let's see - intentionally devalue the dollar, start two wars that cost a $trillion, cut taxes on the wealthy = a $trillion, allow the money handlers to do whatever they please = 70, tes 70 $trillion in derivatives floating around. Clinton surplus turns into a ruined republic. you are a pawn, pervert - a complete tool.
I unfortunately aggree with his observation. This should send a grave chill down the spine of everyone.
A long list of historians have observed Americas unrestrained spending will be our end.
We ask for too much and are unwilling to pay for it. Our politicains know this and continue to tell us they are the solution and continue promising to manage our affairs.

Our situation isn't as bad as people think. Of course we owe China, but we owe them so much that it wouldn't make sense for them to go off the Dollar. They are really pushing us to go on the Euro. So I tihnk before the dollar collapses, we will switch to using the Euro.
The real problem is, even though our country gets back in track, like we did during the Clinton Administration, the next 5 administrations will have to be as disciplined. I don't know if that is possible.
Coffee Party is a group of Thumb-sucking progressive socialists who NEED the Nanny State to take care of them by controlling and stealing from everyone else.
These FOOLS are afraid of Individual Liberty because Liberty requires Personal Responsibility and Limited Gov't.
I'd like to know why he thinks the Tea Party is claiming to represent white America or is even racist. We understand this country is diverse, and that's not what this movement is about it's about the government bailing out banks and spending money we don't have and overhauling health care. The only reason there's so many whites is unfortunately that's just the way it plays out but 99% of the tea partiers are not racist.
Currently, there are no open conflicts between white Americans and people of color. Hispanic gangs (MS-13) are fighting black people in California. In recent times we''ve seen conflicts between black people and Jews (New York riots anyone) and black people and Asians. Now only if the white people would go away, there would be no problems with racism in America. Diversity is not a solution leading to national harmony, no matter what liberals tell you.
Contrary to Mr. Alborn's politically correct blurb, there is no objective evidence that diversity makes a nation any better than it would be otherwise. For 100's of years this country was mostly white Europeans. It managed to establish a constitutional government, the envy of the world. It managed to become one of the most industrialized, productive and technologically advanced nations on the earth. While diversity is an interesting concept, it is not critical to success.
Whenever taxpaying citizens take to the streets to oppose Big Government they threaten the segment of America that depends upon entitlement spending. The race card players tend to be progressives, who want to assure that the milk flows from the national udder, the U.S. Treasury. If you're not a supporter of Big Government, you're a racist. Saul Alinksy is their hero. Google him.
I live in a very republican part of tennessee and am in a mixed relationship I have seen KKK signs painted on buildings, heard nasty comments about mexicans and other people of a different colored skin, Not to mention my husband has like no friends at work because of his skin color. An african american girl was made fun of the other day I about cam un glued so don't tell me its not!
Must be Grundy County lol! Ok Sorry. It sounds to me like it is a very small town though. There are places all over the country that have very racists towns (it's not just tied to the south California is a good place to look), unfortunately that's the way it goes but among the tea party sure you'll have radicals you do in both parties. But a majority of the Tea Party protesters are not racist.
I totally supporting Coffee Party, Tea Party are Racist to Obama, Anti US government movement, freaked old party since 1700's, UNPatriotic, & A-holes. Coffee Party to shut up Tea Party for good.
Migration IS mentioned in Sec. 9, but it simply says that regulation over migration shall not exist prior to 1808. It fails to actually GIVE authority to regulate after 1808, and therefore all true strict constructionists must regard all laws concerning migration to be unconstitutional and illegitimate.
Art. I, Sec. 8 does not mention immigration, migration, or emigration anywhere. It mentions naturalisation (i.e., citizenship requirements), but it utterly fails to grant to the gov't even one shred of authority to regulate human migration. In fact, regulating human migration wasn't even DISCUSSED at the Philadelphia Convention. Thus, in accordance with the constitution, anyone can enter the U.S., regardless of what the gov't says.
Our country needs strong leadership. It needs people who are capable of making hard decisions in the interest of our citizens, decisions that may not be in the economic interest of illegal entrants, who are admittedly disadvantaged. If a C-Party political candidate can't muster the will to enforce our very pragmatic immigration laws, can anyone within your party be counted on to do so?
PART 1. America's immigration laws are unconstitutional. Article I, Section 8 mentions naturalisation (i.e. citizenship), not migration. The Fed gov't has no legal authority to regulate human migration.
Then the Tenth Amendment applies. You are so right, allixpeeke, the Tenth states that powers not granted to the national government nor prohibited to the states by the constitution of the United States are reserved to the states or the people. This opens up an opportunity for the States to enact their own immigration laws, after all, why should the people of the States accept immigrants who will be a burden on their local economies, i.e. Haitians.
PART 2. Central planning does not work. Having cental planners plan migration rates is just as economically destructive as having central planners control the import of consumer and capital goods. If you think central planning works, then I recommend considering the failure of the U.S.S.R.
PART 3. Gov't regulation of human movement effectively infringes upon the property rights of every American. If I own property, it is my natural right to rent out its access to whomever I want, regardless of what some bureaucrats may say. But why would either establishment party start caring about private property and the right to contract now? Both are thoroughly statist, protectionist, and collectivist.
So, you might decide to invite the Chinese army to set up a listening post in your back yard? After all, you claim unrestricted property rights, so you can do anything you want, even if it's harmful to the nation as a whole. I'm afraid that property rights are not as absolute as in a sovereign nation.
PART 4. No country needs "strong leadership." Strong leaders are a bane to any society. I'm sure you would agree that Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Mao, Castro, Kim, Franco, etc. were all "strong leaders," and I'm sure you would also agree with me that all of them were scumbags that infringed upon the natural rights of their respective peoples. So, it stands to reason that we should not want strong rulers at all, that people should be free to run their OWN lives without political meddling.
You can't be serious. I think most of us would agree that we need strong leadership in times of economic and military crises, so I believe that a national consensus would be to the contrary to your assertion. When I say strong leadership I mean leadership in the context of U.S. constitutional control.
But rather than support the enforcement of government policies that would discourage the influx of additional working poor into this country, Mr. Alborn throws up his hands and concedes to anarchy. His will to enforce our laws is surrender to people who aren't even citizens. It shows a lack of fidelity to our nation's principles.
Mr. Alborn may as well have been re-stating the T-Party movement's objections to government/corporate actions that precipitated the collapse. Everything he's said has been said at their meetings. The only difference appears to be is his acquiescing to changing our laws to comply with demands of foreign nationals who have crossed our borders or who ave forgotten their pledge to return to the homeland after their visas have expired. Such action is acknowledgment of lack of political will.
No country in the world has as its objective as the importation of the illiterate and poor. The difficulties attendant with this is obvious, especially when economic entitlements are conferred upon them. Mr. Alborn refers to his antecedents who came here when minimum standards of living guaranteed by the government hadn't become the norm, so his comparisons between past and present immigration are moot .
I listened to part 2 patiently, and heard nothing new. Scaling down government is not a C-Party objective, but one of the T-Party. Large government with overarching controls of social behavior and new programs requiring a transfer of wealth vis a vis high taxation is inherent to progressivism. The social outcomes of progressivism require large bureaucracies with their inherent bureaucratic inefficiencies to avoid fraud. This is anathema to Mr. Alborn's stated goai of limited government.
Yes, punohuspics, fear is in the wind. With fiscal irresponsibility by our congress the norm and their heedlessness of the consequences of establishing new federal programs in the face of catastrophic national debt, fear is in the wind. With nearly 10 percent unemployment, we have a president suggesting an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens, many whose jobs would be had by citizens, if only given the chance, fear is in the wind.. The C-Party will go nowhere if it supports such ideas.
wrong again einstein. We are a CIVIL DEMOCRACY. learned that in a second grade history class. But then again, I dont use the bible as my primary learning tool either. We also have a little statue out there given to us by some foreigners called the french that said giove us your tired, hungry poor, blah blah blah. These guys definately qualify they dont need patriots shooting american citizens which is what they did they killed a child american citizen SHAME
Well if you understand that in Nazi Germany where people had to wear a yellow star, and were torn away from family members you would understand. What is happening now in America with Mexican nationals happened with slaves, Asian American Internments, and with Native AMericans. The racist eoement enslave, or beat or belittle or imprison or commit inhumane acts against another group of people its all they understand.
Mr. Alborn concedes the field to the illegal immigrant. This is unprincipled. He asks us to repeat the same failed policy of the 1986 amnesty. I fail to see how granting amnesty to millions of illegal aliens will prevent illegal immigration. Additional aliens, viewing the success of their predecessors, will once again outwait the Mr. Alborns who will again lack the will to enforce our laws when the moment of truth arrives.
@Horacerumphole we had to cede the feild to you many years ago, to your ancestors, for whites to say no one can come in but the white skinned man, is wrong. and you lie when you say it is not about color. why arent you at the canadian border shooting white guys when they cross over illegally there are TONS of illegal canadiens here know why? no one everf bothers them because they are WHITE.
Regardless of the color of those crossing our border illegally, current citizens will bear the cost of bootstrapping these people to our standard of living, and the billions that will be required to do background checks on amnesty candidates. Each illegal alien will cost several hundred dollars, judging by the current costs of doing this for federal employees. The administrative costs, and the potential for fraud will be incredible, probably worse than for the 1980's amnesty.
@Horacerumphole oh well to bad deal with it or find another country to go colonize with your bags of tea. this country is not the white mans country anymore it belongs to all races and nationalities and yes it is about race why dont you shoot canadians at the canadian border then? they pass through witho0ut any problem thousands here illegally hypocrite
Furthermore, C-Party's parent, the Democrats, are attempting to raise the poverty level dollar figure to account for the cost of health insurance. This will no doubt increase the number of Americans living below the poverty level, and reduce the number of taxpayers and the tax base even further. Someone will have make up for this. Many of you will end up suffering the consequences for this action. C-Party people, being progressives, will no doubt support this.
@Horacerumphole your fearmongering is very typical although disquised behind a moral, and bookish facade. this argument is straw man, and has no basis in reality or fact. prove that with some sort of credible facts. cant? thought so.
None of you have have answered the question of the 11 million working poor that the illegal immigrants represent. These people comprise part of the 50 percent of Americans who do not pay federal income taxes. Granting amnesty to these people means that those of you that earn enough to pay taxes will undoubtedly pay more to make up for the per capita loss. The C-Party is not only asking us to accept this as a fait accomplis but to do so for those family members who follow.
@Horacerumphole what a JOKE isnt the tea party about NOT PAYING TAXES? why dont you go take this up with them, then?DUUH if poeple are working here, they have to live, they have to eat they have to have a roof over their heads. They need stuff like toilet paper and toothpaste. these they purchase here in OUR economy. They pay taxes on many items purchased here and sent home to family members same as the philipino and other immigrants do, many who are also illegally here.
The Tea Party is not opposed to taxes; in fact, it has no principles other than "Obama is bad." It ignores that Obama is no different from Bush. (The Coffee Party also ignores this.)
I, on the other hand, AM opposed to taxes—ALL taxes. Taxation is theft. Those that refuse to pay are subject to being placed in a cage or murdered by the ruling class. Those in the ruling class employ doublethink in order to pretend to themselves that taxation is not violent expropriation.
Just to clarify.. It's congresses enumerated power to:
'provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress'
--
The states appoint officers in the military.. the congress does the rest -
Though we are a Republic - we are also a Democracy.. a democracy is simply a government either run directly by the people or through representatives chosen by the people.
You can't simply say we aren't a Democracy because we are a Democratic Constitutional Republic.. we are both.
And are you implying that the people are to secure our borders? Not the federal government.? Because if that's your claim it's not constitutional at all.. your sentence is a bit confusing.
the coffee party is teaparty. they are mostly teaparty people and insist the whole goal is getting together with teaparty for discussions and focusing on common interests. anyone who doesnt wish to merge with teaparty is not welcome there.
no WE ARE NOT TEA BAGGER LOONS. We are democrats, that have a backbone. SO get your parties correct. I would NEVER join a movement that even smacked of those tea party loons. NOPE we are liberals, of many races and colors sick of the hatefulled Tea loons. Thats all we are here to present a different face to their insanity. SO no you are NOT CORRECT on that, sorry
naw whats fake is tea party racists covering for the white kniohts who have an operative modus which says no ventral leader, and seperate cells an no one knows who is who. thats the tea baggers we dont have operatives. we have citizens of all races and colors that are SICK OF THE TEA PARTY LOONS
EXACTLY waving from hawaii, a very RACIALLY MIXED STATE FULL OF LOTS OF DIFFERENT BLOODS...and shades of coffee hey the other guy? get a grip. here, we accept every race. Asian, black, white, hawaiian, japanese, philipino, chinese, tongan, samoan, tahitian, hawaiin. get with it man WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE
LOL.... Freepers just can't stand it. A guy that "should be" one of them is actually making sense in a centrist, non-partisan way that doesn't bolster their radical-right wing POV.
well its better than being a Reaper. You know, a REAGAN REPUBLICAN (yuk yuk). listen this is what we are sick of this stupid childish types of discussions. thats why the Coffee party was formed. so we could get away from this inane juvenile banter and debate the issues based on facts. Ok I am waiting for some facts rather than opinions. lets see some. then we can debate properlly opinions are just that opinions
somehow this vet (and God bless him for his service) has gotten the impression that the"tea party" is not welcoming of people of other ethnic backgrounds when in fact they are only with the stipulation that they be here legally. The problem arose when left leaning media decided to help out the Dems by misrepresenting the Tea Party
Holly sh-t. This guy is so great of slaying strawmen he barely takes a breath to make new ones. That is, when he is not advocating *FOR* Tea party ideas.
Dear Punohuspicks, the Coffee Party is NOT actually liberal. From what I've seen, they support the statist status quo, just like the Tea Party. American so-called "liberals" are not radical enough to justly call themselves liberals. They don't question the ruling class or its values; they don't critique the collusion of big gov't with big business; and, while they DO tend to support left-libertarian goals, they aim to achieve them through conservative, counter-revolutionary means, viz., statism.
It's really quite a shame to see the word "liberal" applied to right-wingers like the current American president. There have been many wonderful liberals thoughout history, including Cicero, John Locke, Thomas Paine, Henry David Thoreau, Thomas Hodgkin, Voltairine de Cleyre, Benjamin Tucker, Herbert Spencer, Auberon Herbert, Lord Acton, Franz Oppenheimer, Isabel Patterson, Ludwig von Mises, Murray Rothbard, Wendy McElroy...
Mr. Alborn seems to imply that such a thing as race exists. It does not. Race is simply a social construct. We are all part of the human race.
Mr. Alborn talks of an ethical component. Well, I believe it is objectively unethical for any human or group of humans to initiate force or fraud against the person or justly-acquired property of anyone else. Since a state, in order to be a state, must either enslave or steal (and virtually all do both), it stands to reason that the...
further, I beleive it is unethical to deny any human being the right to medical treatment, housing and food regardless of where he came from, or where he is going or if you like him or his ideologies or not. THAT my freind is the real discussion. DO poor people deserve to eat, breathe, go to school, have clothing a roof over their heads and medical needs supplied no matter what their race creed or nationality? THAT is the COFFEE PARTY ideology we are SICK of racist tea bags
All claims to positive rights amount to, in effect, a "right" to enslave. Contrariwise, all negative rights amount to a right to not be enslaved. Naturally, both a "right" to enslave and a right to not be enslaved cannot coexist in a universe constrained by the law of noncontradiction. Thus, either all imaginable negative rights exist, or all imaginable positive rights exist. I believe that all imaginable negative rights exist, and thus that positive "rights"...
Does a right to healthcare exist? Well, yes and no. A POSITIVE right to healthcare does not and cannot exist. A NEGATIVE right to healthcare, by contrast, not only exists, but MUST exist. The difference between the two is the difference between freedom and slavery.
A negative right to healthcare would look like this: John and Mary both agree that Mary will give medical care to John. Therefore, a third...
...party (e.g. Steve) has no right to step in and prevent the exchange. If Steve steps in and prevents the voluntary arrangement from taking place, he's infringing upon John's natural, negative right to healthcare.
A positive right to healthcare would look like this: John goes to Mary and asks her for medical care. Mary is uninterrested. So John points a gun at Mary and forces to to (A) give John the care or (B) give John money for the care.
...rights exist, then John would be justified in using this violent, right-wing method of acquiring healthcare. On the other hand, if negative rights exist, then John has no authority to use this violence; nor does he have the authority to get Steve to engage in this act of violence on his (John's) behalf; nor does John have the authority to get the violent state apparatus to take any action.
Would you agree that negative rights (i.e., the right to NOT be...
This man, like the vast majority of Americans, doesn't have any idea who's to blame. It is the corrupt monetary system. Yes we need to reduce debt. Yes we need to stop waging war all over the place. NO earmarks are not to blame (they merely determine where money goes, not how much will be spent or where the money will come from). THE #1 culprit is the Federal Reserve Bank--the crack dealer that drives all of the visible problems like our debt and endless warfare. It is KILLING our country.
I have to disagree. Earmarks are used to justify all sorts of wasteful spending. They're often done as vote trading ventures. Earmarks are used to leverage power, i.e. how can a $ 223 million dollar bridge to an island of 8,900 inhabitants in Alaska be justified? You can bet that the congressman whose constituency was trading his vote so that some other congressman could get his wasteful project accomplished for his constituencies. We must not only reduce spending, but spend more wisely.
that was sarah palin. she fought for it then changed her toon. good old wishy washy palin. a tea bagger, i mean tea partier. partying it up while alaskan natives in her state are living in destitute situations. ye[p thats why i am a proud COFFEE PARTY supporter
The tea party movement doesn't have anything to do with race. NOTHING to do with race. It has to do with PRINCIPLES. Important "ethical components". Do you know what those are??
OMG wait, hang on go to my channel you will see literally dozens of videos showing the hatred and racism of the tea party movement. my guess is you have never even been to one. You never could have made that statement if you had. The signs, the rhetoric, the spewing hate and fearmongering racism is there for all to see. So right there you just shot your credibility down completely. OR you live in alin=ce in wonderland world one or the other WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE
Oh and also tea baggers are for the pure unaltered constitution, which would bring back slavery and deny women the right to vote and own property and bring back every single jim crow law, and repeal the civil rights act. niiiiiiiice i know you were trying to sound smart but EPIC FAIL
As a radical individualist, I do not support the Tea Party, nor do I believe that the U.S. Constitution is a legally binding document on any human. But, for the sake of objectivity, even though I do not believe in any constitution, I believe you err in saying the U.S. Constitution would "bring back slavery." In 1845, Lysander Spooner wrote "The Unconstitutionality of Slavery," in which he argued (correctly, in my opinion) that slavery is NOT (nor had it ever...
...been) constitutional. The argument was so sound that Frederick Douglass, after reading the book, abandoned the Garrisonian view of the Constitution. Spooner was a great thinker, and although he erred here and there (especially in his support for so-called "intellectual property"), he always seemed to get it right when it came to the Constitution.
Here's a public servant... a guy who collected taxpayer's money for 20 years... a guy who "worked" in the army ... and he's gonna tell us how the economy should be run???!!!
3:00 "in the 5000 years of history we never had a moment like this"... and he knows this as fact?
3:10 "we are a failed democracy"... speak fer yerself, dude!
I believe the word was "frail" not "failed." Just to clarify that. Has a significantly different meaning.
Also, I don't know that it would be easy to counter the argument that in the last 5000 years we've never had a moment like this. Our form of democracy, and especially our level of technology with regards to communication (and just about everything else), sets the present as distinctly different from the past. Just as the events of the past were significantly different from their past.
wow so i guess you arent one of those tea bagger patriots then. you know the ones that beleive that we should really honor our vets? oh i guess they only honor the vets that AGREE with their racist hatemongering fearmongering the sky is falling lets bring back the original constitution and send the women home bunch
Macro economist Noureil Roubini, some people called "bubble bloggers," my father and myself, and certain Democrats did warn of the housing market crash. Some people still insist we are wizards but I assure you this is not magic. The bad practices they engage in have signs and indicators. What nobody can do is tell you the "when." It's like predicting earthquakes, no telling "when" but you can get a strong reading on the "if."
Can white Americans have representation of their point of view on par with ethnic groups like Hispanics and African Americans? HIspanics have La Raza, MALDEF, congressional Hispanic caucus, etc and African Americans are permitted their NAACP, congressional caucuses, etc. No one elected these people (except congress), yet these ethnic/racial association are considered legit. As far as the T-Party is concerned, I don't remember anyone claiming that they only represent white people, except you.
Nope. WHITE RACISTS that want to RETURN TO THE ORIGINAL CONSTITUTION should sit down and SHUT UP. when the baggers talk about returning to american values, and what made ourt country great blah blah blah they are so not talking about the rest of us. Non racist whites can do anything they want fine with me. the racists tea baggers/? ship em ogff to Australia, let them make their own constitution and have slavery over there. Not here, not ever again. they can just leave.
No, puno, we just want our government to stay within the bounds of its charter and not usurp the powers not prohibited to the states by the constitution of the United States and reserved to the states or the people., as stated in the Tenth Amendment to our US Constitution, which you seem to reject. Don't like the Constitution? Write an amendment and have it considered by the people as a whole, otherwise accept it as the law of the land.
@Punohuspics, are you asserting that Amerindians would be prospering today if half of the U.S. were still in the hands of the Mexicans? Ask a Mexican which government whether he would like to live under our federal government or theirs. But we don't have to, do we, as evidenced by their inclination to head north to gain prosperity. If Mexicans would overcome their culture of corruption and would manage their own affairs responsibly, they too would have prosperity, but alas, they can't.
What new political idea have immigrants contributed since the founding of our nation? We began as a nation of immigrants, Dutch, English, French, African American and German. Since our fundamental underlying principles are founded on the Constitution and subsequent amendments we haven't had any major transformational new principles as the result of the new diversity you speak of. Praise of diversity is just a political bone to those who have no history in this country prior to recent times.
I won't make any claim that immigrants have contributed hugely to political ideas, mainly because I don't care. What they have contributed to to a large degree is technical and scientific progress.
Your argument only holds true if the only stick you're measuring with is political progress. I think that the US offers much more than simply a political system. We're a nation of innovators, and we do well to encourage innovators to come here.
the 6 civilized nations gave their confederation framework to the founding fathers. without the native american peiple none of you would know how to govern. and apparnetly its true. and that blood sings in the people who are MESTIZO, and AZTECA and the mexicans were owning california and texas, and all those places and lost them in a bloody and brutal battle for colonization. crack a history book sheesh
LOL omg stop trying to sound smart. epic fail, mexicans are decended from a proud and noble race of people. from those poeple came the ancestors that gave the founding fathers the foundation of the 6 civilized tribes confederacy framework. They used this to form the constitution. so you know what? you lose the cred right there. stop trying to keep up just listen and pay attention
He says "lily white" like it's something bad, while saying "lovely shades of brown"...says a lot right there.

Even Ron Paul, "Dr. No", supports increasing benefits and pensions for military veterans.

I'd like to know why he thinks the Tea Party is claiming to represent white America or is even racist. We understand this country is diverse, and that's not what this movement is about it's about the government bailing out banks and spending money we don't have and overhauling health care. The only reason there's so many whites is unfortunately that's just the way it plays out but 99% of the tea partiers are not racist.
scarebear83 1 year ago
Currently, there are no open conflicts between white Americans and people of color. Hispanic gangs (MS-13) are fighting black people in California. In recent times we''ve seen conflicts between black people and Jews (New York riots anyone) and black people and Asians. Now only if the white people would go away, there would be no problems with racism in America. Diversity is not a solution leading to national harmony, no matter what liberals tell you.
Horacerumphole 1 year ago

Dear LigDom09,
PART TWO
Migration IS mentioned in Sec. 9, but it simply says that regulation over migration shall not exist prior to 1808. It fails to actually GIVE authority to regulate after 1808, and therefore all true strict constructionists must regard all laws concerning migration to be unconstitutional and illegitimate.
Sincerely yours,
A fan of Lysander Spooner
allixpeeke 1 year ago
Dear LigDom09,
PART ONE
Art.

Horacerumphole 1 year ago
Dear Horacerumphole,
PART 1. America's immigration laws are unconstitutional. Article I, Section 8 mentions naturalisation (i.e. citizenship), not migration. The Fed gov't has no legal authority to regulate human migration.
allixpeeke 1 year ago
Then the Tenth Amendment applies. You are so right, allixpeeke, the Tenth states that powers not granted to the national government nor prohibited to the states by the constitution of the United States are reserved to the states or the people. This opens up an opportunity for the States to enact their own immigration laws, after all, why should the people of the States accept immigrants who will be a burden on their local economies, i.e. Haitians.
Horacerumphole 1 year ago
Dear Horacerumphole,
PART 2. Central planning does not work. Having cental planners plan migration rates is just as economically destructive as having central planners control the import of consumer and capital goods. If you think central planning works, then I recommend considering the failure of the U.S.S.R.
allixpeeke 1 year ago
Who said anything about central planning, certainly not me.
Horacerumphole 1 year ago
Dear Horacerumphole,
Sincerely,
A free-market radical
allixpeeke 1 year ago
So, you might decide to invite the Chinese army to set up a listening post in your back yard? After all, you claim unrestricted property rights, so you can do anything you want, even if it's harmful to the nation as a whole. I'm afraid that property rights are not as absolute as in a sovereign nation.
Horacerumphole 1 year ago
P.S.
So, it stands to reason that we should not want strong rulers at all, that people should be free to run their OWN lives without political meddling.
allixpeeke 1 year ago

Horacerumphole 2 years ago

Punohuspicks 2 years ago

Punohuspicks 2 years ago
None of you have have answered the question of the 11 million working poor that the illegal immigrants represent. These people comprise part of the 50 percent of Americans who do not pay federal income taxes. Granting amnesty to these people means that those of you that earn enough to pay taxes will undoubtedly pay more to make up for the per capita loss. The C-Party is not only asking us to accept this as a fait accomplis but to do so for those family members who follow.
Horacerumphole 2 years ago
@Horacerumphole what a JOKE isnt the tea party about NOT PAYING TAXES? why dont you go take this up with them, then?DUUH if poeple are working here, they have to live, they have to eat they have to have a roof over their heads. They need stuff like toilet paper and toothpaste. these they purchase here in OUR economy. They pay taxes on many items purchased here and sent home to family members same as the philipino and other immigrants do, many who are also illegally here.
Punohuspicks 2 years ago
Dear Punohuspicks,
The Tea Party is not opposed to taxes; in fact, it has no principles other than "Obama is bad." It ignores that Obama is no different from Bush.

Dear Punohuspicks, the Coffee Party is NOT actually liberal. From what I've seen, they support the statist status quo, just like the Tea Party. All claims to positive rights amount to, in effect, a "right" to enslave. Contrariwise, all negative rights amount to a right to not be enslaved. It is KILLING our country.
ruthelator 2 years ago
I have to disagree. Earmarks are used to justify all sorts of wasteful spending. They're often done as vote trading ventures. Earmarks are used to leverage power, i.e. how can a $ 223 million dollar bridge to an island of 8,900 inhabitants in Alaska be justified? You can bet that the congressman whose constituency was trading his vote so that some other congressman could get his wasteful project accomplished for his constituencies. We must not only reduce spending, but spend more wisely.

Oh and also tea baggers are for the pure unaltered constitution, which would bring back slavery and deny women the right to vote and own property and bring back every single jim crow law, and repeal the civil rights act. niiiiiiiice i know you were trying to sound smart but EPIC FAIL

Dear Punohuspicks,
PART ONE
As a radical individualist, I do not support the Tea Party, nor do I believe that the U.S. Constitution is a legally binding document on any human. But, for the sake of objectivity, even though I do not believe in any constitution, I believe you err in saying the U.S. Constitution would "bring back slavery." In 1845, Lysander Spooner wrote "The Unconstitutionality of Slavery," in which he argued (correctly, in my opinion) that slavery is NOT (nor had it ever...

Dear Punohuspicks,
PART TWO
...been) constitutional. The argument was so sound that Frederick Douglass, after reading the book, abandoned the Garrisonian view of the Constitution. Spooner was a great thinker, and although he erred here and there (especially in his support for so-called "intellectual property"), he always seemed to get it right when it came to the Constitution.
Best regards,
Alex Peak

Here's a public servant... a guy who collected taxpayer's money for 20 years... a guy who "worked" in the army ... and he's gonna tell us how the economy should be run???!!!
3:00 "in the 5000 years of history we never had a moment like this"... and he knows this as fact?
3:10 "we are a failed democracy"... speak fer yerself, dude!
1 term, agreed... drones, agreed... farmer politicians, agreed.
the rest... drivel.

Horacerumphole 2 years ago

Horacerumphole 2 years ago
