  • Love it! I'm from Toledo but nowt i'm living in another place...I miss Toledo so much...thank you for this lovely song.

  • @egbp1e - Thanks go to Henrik Takkenberg, who wrote it. His brother Frederik still lives in Toledo. I was there a long time ago; indeed, it is a beautiful city. Ciao!

  • Very cool. I am glad that Henrik has had an effect on others.

I used to play guitar with Henrik Takkenberg when we were kids at boarding school in England. I wrote the first song I ever wrote with him.

    We loved playing acoustic music.

It was very very sad when he passed away. So sad. Great guy. Great talent.

    Keep up the good work.

  • well done.

by the way, i really envy your guitar :)

  • Beautifully performed, It does sound like it could have been a CSN song . I wonder if johnphoto1 can do the song better than you.

  • really great sounding voice

  • I'm really surprised. I just was looking here for a custom legend 1869 'cause i bought one (20 years old - 1988) last saturday.

This is a great great performance, nice played and nice sung as well.

Congrats for that and your great instrument. Best wishes from switzerland :-)

  • Thank you Steve, and congrats on your new (old) O!

  • Didn't know the song but it sounds nice, good job!

  • You're right, Toledo is a great city! Great song too!!!!

  • awesome work man, and thats one beatiful ovation, i might get a legend soon as well. Nice work bud

  • You sold that Legand yet ? Or is it still for sale Boxer Boy ?

    :-) Steph Scotland

  • Great song and fantastic chords

  • Stylistic preference I guess... I certainly know how to palm mute, but on this song I let the chords ring. Played this one in a band about 20 years ago, and the memory is partly what drives my solo rendition of it now. Thank for the comment.

  • Sell it to Steven Stills. Great use of chords to form a rythm. Classic good guitar work. You should learn to use the heel of your hand to mute the sweep of your pick action. The squelching of the sustain would make the guitar breath, more than ring. Give it a try.

  • ovation rules, man!

  • Cool
