Not true at all.. Check out Scarborough Beach. Not a rock in site. And Higgin's has some rocky outcroppings, but any novice could do it, as well. :)

We went out to Higgin's when Hurricane Bill hit and boy, was that intense!

Dude, bullshit. I watched the waves at higgins all day, and nobody made it out the day they were breaking. There were a bunch of people trying, but no one made it past the break. There were a bunch of people the day before and after, but no one made it out after.

damn, i just watched the video again.. i was wrong, i apologize. actually i barely saw ANY wave overhead at all. one or two of them were maybe maybe one foot overhead. most waves were chest to head high. hahha. i guess thats the difference between surfing in the atlantic and surfing pacific ocean waves.

The water was wayy colder than that on this day. It was the day after a good sized snow storm. The water was probably about 38 degrees, the coldest it gets.The music is by Aesop Rock. they are not from Maine. I'm not sure where they are from. Thanks for watching.
