The compassionate/ cooperative society that Adams is theorizing is the inevitable revolution of values and societal neuroses that would come about from a society in a "resource-based" economy.. I would humbly recommend open mindedly watching Zeitgeist: Addendum and the newly released Zeitgeist: Moving Forward.... Both incredibly relevant and pertinant..

@alecd83 he doesn't need to watch them, he's a pioneer of to the ideas the "revolutionary" movement seeks and ppl such as urself reiterate as if it were new and original, and like no social scientist ever pondered or worked toward the answer of such problems. the zeitgeist movement is a fad, in fact "zeitgeist" literally means- general trend of thought of a particular period of time. but ppl prefer to think they're hip when really they're just spitting up the crap they saw on some site or movie

Love can change this world though, about that you are right. In the original Hebrew version of the bible, the numerical value of "God" was the same as the word "love."

Zeitgeist movies are not totally wrong, i think they're part of a movement that want to change the world, as Adams, but their path to get to that goal is different. I just wish that the way of thinking of this people was the majority, not the minority, if there were more people like Adams.

Why can't mankind understand this, its so simple material things just clutter our lives. There is nothing more rewarding then to help somebody. Often its the most simple thing you do that can make a huge different.I am betting most men will not agree with this Patch Adams but not everybody has had a sweet mother or grandmother....So how can one understand this unless they have had that.....I think people ignore whats going around them because its too painful . Amen Patch. His philosophy is so simple yet quite complex. Patch merely expounded on his true feelings about the world which is what he believes. He is so right. Patch Adams maybe be a man of many dreams but his creed is quite simple

and that dream is, dep down, only one word: LOVE

I am the man behind the camera, this interview was mede in Italy and the journalist has some difficult to understand english. However he is a good person really involved in no profit initiatives and causes. The alternatives was not interview at all. During this last trip of Patch Adams no other great broadcaster gave his the same attention.
