Why does the Mazda MPV make 5 double beeps when you start the car up with no seatbelt? At least the early 90s van did this. Does the new MPV makes these 5 double beeps when you start the car up with no seatbelt?

** You have to ask the car makers this question, I don't know why, they just do. Almost every car does has 5 beeps, with exception to late model BMW's that do 3 and the chimes in the 1997-2004 Buick regal which does 7.

Just wondering..how much is gas where you live (in Quebec I presume?) here in Toronto its about 0.97/liter,.

One more thing, I used to have a van like that, and we had problems with the remote/horn too..especially the horn, it was embarrassing to honk the damn thing lol

No more snow, time to get the tires changed to AP. Mazda makes good race cars. Alright lets get her started. It drives me nuts when people leave the windshield wipers on and then turn off the key. Then they wonder why they had to change the wipers so soon cause they weren't working. Yeah their supposed to be used when wet, hey, thats what she said. nice engine, nice cold start.
