I am so, so glad to finally have someone give Canadians some informative information. No one around me believes that the situation in the US will have any impact on us. Even those in the 2 industrialized provinces mentioned ( one in which I live) have few that are clued in. Everytime I have tried to express these same views I have been ridiculed. A very objective interview and very informative. What is so interesting in particular, is the WARNING to all people contained within, however, so subliminal. What is interesting is the similarity of today's world, with that of the "Pax" Roman culture when it began to go into demise. That is to say, how Emporer Nero had the Silver content removed from the Roman Coin and replaced it with a "plated" copper coin because he needed the $ to rebuild Rome his way. this eventually proved devasting.

If the discrepancy between the physical price and the spot price becomes too wide (or spot price is wildly erratic while the physical price is less so), will Goldmoney alter the way it prices their metals?

GoldMoney buys metal at the spot price from reliable refiners and dealers, which it then sells to its customers. GoldMoney will always use the price at which physical metal trades, not any prices at which the paper market trades.

2) Given the growing importance of Asia in the market for physical metal, it is likely that the HK Merc could become an important player.
