Turtle Beach PX21's or Tritons AX 720?

Madcats own stock to Tritton.Tritton has its own people who develop it.Microsoft has been co designing tritton headsets.I have Both turtle beach and trittons.trittons are better hands down.

its all in what you prefer. if you like a sound that doesnt seem like its right in your ear, go px21. if ur a fan of bass, go ax720. the ax720 has an insane amount of bass, but you cant adjust it. on the px21, you can adjust it.

@FatherOvGore Same thing except my mic also broke and where the headphones turn to rest when your on a break broke too!!! So I took super glue to try and fix it. So trittons sound better!!!

Yeah my PX21s just broke everyone! One off the speakers came off, just get the Trittons or Astros lol. Ive had them since October 2010

The reason you go through the x21's is because you smash them around like there made out of carbon steel. They are fragile built for comfort not strength. Overall The px21s are a great headset.

I have a pair of both I would say the trittons bcuz I have already went through 2 pair of the px21s n the sound quality doesn't match up to the tritton

i just got the tritton 720's and my friend got the px21's and sound and performance wise, the tritton ax720's had far better performance than the px21's.

th sound quality on the ax 720's are WAY better than px21's and u can actually hear foot steps on the ax 720's

ofcoarse u would say that the px21's are "great" cause u never tried the ax720's

you should of spent the extra money to get the ax720's

@Tk21n Tried both and you can easily hear the footsteps on the 21's you have to set them up right. Dont lug them around set the bass 50% to get rid of the buzzing. Set everything how you like. and footsteps arent a problem. Theyre both great headsets it comes to preference.

I got the tritton AX Pro a week ago and have had the Turtle Beach Px21 for about a year. The Tritton's Looks better, Px21 is Cheaper, Trittons is true 5.1 surround sound and even if you got the Dpx21- 7.1 its not dolby digital. Dpx21 is a emulated stereo sound. Both is bass heavy, Trittons have a higher pitch, but sounds muffled when there is to much going on ( some sounds not coming through clearly as hoped). Trittons is a precision headset for 1v1 and S@D.

Trittons are good but they break to easy and have to much plastic on them but px21 are great

I have tried both the Tritton ax720's and the Turtle Beach DPX21 (returning it soon). Imo, the Trittons are better. I play cod & other FPS games, and I found that with the Trittons, you can tell exactly where sounds are coming from at all angles. With the DPX21, you mostly hear just left and right. The Trittons are not as heavy as you might think, they're durable and have excellent sound quality (better than the AX Pros). The DPX21's are light, but feel fragile and has an annoying static noise.

@353adam Its not "true" surround sound..... 7.1 sound great and all but its still emulated stereo sound. If you stand still in a Fps you wont be able to tell if the sound is above, below, front or back without moving left or right. Why, because the headset has only has one speaker in each cup. Dont think there is a headset on the market with true 7.1 DD but i might be wrong.

My px21 wire broke so I decided to go get a new headset which is the triton ax720 and I think they r way better and I only played with them for 5 days as I played with the turtle beach for 1 year

PX21s rock badass but the difference that made me choose AX720 was the 5.1 simulated surround sound, which is pretty neat.

and no they do an awesome job at madkatz. ive bought a pc mouse of them which is awesome btw.

px21 With a dss is better then any tritton headset ive ever owned. Dpx21 is the best bang for your buck, sound quality is amazing.

@LuckySchaeffer its similar to the amp that headsets such as astro and trittons use, it makes it so its surround sound instead of just stereo. You can't have the full potential of turtle beaches without using a DSS. DSS go for 80 bucks on TB's website.
