holy crap, that's pretty amazing. When I was a kid my dad's friend set off a whole box of fireworks on the patio and I thought that was intense (scared the shit out of me). Another time we were at a show for the Canadian centennial celebration (1967), and they put the fireworks too close together and they all went off one after the other. The whole show was over in about 30 seconds, we were pretty disappointed, but it was pretty remarkable.
my 8 year old daughter was sitting right there when this happened and someone threw themselves over her to protect her or she would have been hurt...thank you for that whoever you were...my 8 year old said she never wants to see fireworks again. scared the &*@% out her and she was up will 1am shaking...she said it looked like a war path with people laying on the ground and blood and people screaming. she said she thought she was dead for sure.
