  • I love her voice...

  • You are all disgusting glorifying terrorists into some sort of heroes

None of you have a fucking clue about the reality in NI

Yes its a moving piece of music but that doesnt condone decades of Irish republican terror

If you support the IRA, you will burn in hell

    TERRORIST FILTH

  • @WORLD8NSH5KNIGHT1 God and hell dosen't exist you idiot.Secondly if england didn't invade ireland none of this shit would have happend. The british stole a land that rightfully belongs to ireland. And british coming in to a foreign land stealing it raping and killing its native people? hmm that sounds like terrorism to me.

  • Comment removed

  • its funny how the british claimed they wanted stability and peace and the better for everyone in northern ireland, yet they allow things like bloody sunday, ballymurphy, house raids?

  • @keveydaking

How about Ballykelly, Enniskillen, Omagh, Birmingham, Claudy, Belfast numerous times, London numerous times. The list of terror at the hands of Republicans is far greater than that at the hands of the British. How often was Dublin bombed in that time? Once.

3500 people killed in the troubles... 1800 at the hands of the Republican groups- mostly civilians

All you ever talk about is Bloody Sunday but that was ONE INCIDENT

    Irish Republican hypocrisy is disgusting

  • @WORLD8NSH5KNIGHT1 you're disgusting

  • @WORLD8NSH5KNIGHT1 lmfao So wait The brits come in rape and pillage take other peoples land by force and then blame the natives of the land for it ?

Thats like someone hijacking your car and you having to apologize for being robbed! typical british twisted logic absolutely blinded by the media and no brain to think for yourself!

  • Comment removed

  • @keveydaking

David Cameron made a public apology for Bloody Sunday.

When have Irish Republican terrorists ever apologised for THEIR atrocities?

Omagh had twice as many victims as Bloody Sunday

Birmingham had more victims but how often to do hear about justice for that??

If you are going to condemn violence, then condemn all violence you fucking hypocrite

  • @WORLD8NSH5KNIGHT1 the IRA never made atrocities, they were freedom fighting. Another point the RIRA is not the PIRA, the RIRA are the real terrorists. Birmingham had a warning

  • @WORLD8NSH5KNIGHT1 Why should they apologise none of this violence would have happend if england didn't invade ireland.

  • @WORLD8NSH5KNIGHT1 Yeah mate.I'm not an idiot only adults who can't except mortality believe in such foolish fairy tales i was a chatolic until i saw how corrupt and evil religion is and opend my eyes to evolution,Free thinking and living life to the full.

  • this song wants to make me go down to the uk and hit every 'troubles veteran' i could find

  • We visited Dublin this past summer and were just walking around the Temple Bar District taking in the sites; suddenly this guy stepped right in front of us and started talking to us, he had this weird look on his face and started going on and on about how the British Government was after him and all these conspiracy theories. He seemed like he was off his rocker so we started slowly edging away and he put a hand on my shoulder to stop us, kept going on and on - it was bizarre. We were like wtf?

  • @i2Bwitchy some people need to belong - and shame on you for not adopting him lol

  • @SPAREPARTSCENTRE If he needed somewhere to 'belong' he should have gone back to Derry, which is where he said he was from, instead of hanging around Dublin pestering the tourists with conspiracy theories and crazy talk lol. Plus, he shouldn't have grabbed my shoulder when we were walking away, that's uncalled for.

  • @i2Bwitchy haha - ah well - to be Irish is to puzzle the world - if you could only bottle it

  • shoot one british soldier ~ salute em shoot two promote em!!! shoot three give me a gun ill follow!!!!

  • Haunting song.. Dolores's voice is beautiful!

  • Up the RA!

  • @RobOccupyDenver Yay, carbombs and bullets to the kneecaps for everyone! I see from your username that you're from Denver - please refrain from cheering on a conflict you don't understand the first thing about in my country affecting my people. Look up the Enniskillen Bombing to get an idea of how glorious this war really was... Not in my name

  • @Hellfryable I as many people would never vote if thats the word for horrible inhumane crimes - who could? and yet the reality of the past as belsen, auswitz, dakour etc has most definitely been necessary in order to teach us how to behave - I agree with all your sentiment H but there are many strands to the robe of this conversation - as you are a sensible fellow I know that you agree with that - it's not going to change soon - but soon is sooner - i think anyhow - my 4 fenigs worth lol

  • @SPAREPARTSCENTRE I agree, there are many strands to the issue and no one side is all right or all wrong. But surely you can see why an American who doesn't know the first thing about the conflict or the issues behind it posting slogans like "UP THE RA" on a video like this would irk me slightly. People to that poster, at a similar remove, with similar understanding of the conflict, with probable good intent supplied angry men on this island with many a weapon over the years.

  • @Hellfryable This is true and I wouldn't disagree with you there - But like the genocide committed in WW2 - it's only after these things happen that we can truly say we don't want to go there again despite the fact that common sense tells we don't have to in the first place - The conflict on our island is not over though - mark my words here - we will have spikes yet again - it is very important IMHO to realize that first hand experience is always the trigger way before politics - Utube limit

  • i seen this last night and i was like yo i like this song and it goes with this movie

  • The truth will never hide Even though I tried They tried to take my pride But they only took my father from me They only took my father Even though I cried Even though I tried again God be with you Ireland God be with you Ireland
  • Great music, missed the movie though I'll have to check it out.

  • @CIVIC170 I rented the movie the other day, I liked the movie.

  • @jinnene1 I saw a few clips that are here it did look good.

  • Not to get into the Irish republican debate, but has anyone heard the theme tune of Game of Thrones? It sounds so similar to this...

  • True freedom fighters you are. May the fight never end to FREE IRELAND! God be with you

  • @NilesHennesey Well... presumably the fight would end if Ireland was to become free? Because then there would be no more reason to fight anymore

  • This song really is the anthem for the Troubles.

  • I like this song but am wondering about the official music video from the movie. Isn't there one after all this time?!

  • 0:00 - 0:58 = pure love

  • lets take out the agonies of hatred by listening !!!

  • respect from Malta!!

  • CLASSIC

  • bhfeice

  • I love this song......"fuck the England".....time to let it die

  • @TheMonkofshadows Fuck the England? Fuck you. Cunt.

  • @360gunnings hey there tons of FUN, EAT IT !!!!!!!!!!! But if you scroll down I was on your side, I was saying that some point you have to let the HATE go........cuz im irish but you got a few pints in you so youll last one or two rounds mu hahh h ah aah h aha ............Im American. Look just busting your balls a little, WHACK em back trust me Im american we can take them.

  • @TheMonkofshadows So you think you can take an Irish fighter? - Name yer poison and choose yer weapon - your soul will be left wanting - no nation on the planet in history has ever beaten our spirit down - its God given - even the Romans were afraid of us - but I get ya lol - have some shamrock - on the house lol - see you in the next lfe

  • @SPAREPARTSCENTRE "if your not confused, you dont know whats going on" -irish proverb ....i like you friend you need to re-read my comments...basically i was just busting balls but if you boil it down "the most vicious horrible archfiends have always and will always hide at the top in the guise of civility and honorable success, touting fake mortality and fake virtue as armor to hide the worlds eyes from their true nucleus" -Monkofshadows

  • @TheMonkofshadows Maybe so - you know how it goes on the tube - your in the moment and you read something and reply - My new years revolution is not to be hasty lol

  • @SPAREPARTSCENTRE agreed.

  • This is where you don't have a take ... NO - WE WON'T LET IT GO .. this i far older than your understanding or history education afforded you - to date - Our island is ours and was invaded many times and lots of history has passed but the one thing that we cant let go of is the fact that Ireland is an island with a much richer past than our neighbour and we dont want to be like them and refuse to part of them - we simply want our nation

  • @SPAREPARTSCENTRE Speak for yourself lad, I could care less about who runs things up north as long as the people living there consent to it. They voted on it and it appears they are happy with the status quo, so until that changes so it should remain. Anything has to be better than the conflict that raged on for so long and took too many innocent lives with it. We need to learn to live with each other in peace on this small island of ours if we are to get anywhere...

  • @Hellfryable The murder of innocents should NEVER have happened, but I interpret this song as representing the 800 or so years of shit that happened in Ireland thanks to British occupation. In that, it does it very well and will indeed get my blood boiling, so to speak..

Being from the north myself, the only IRA I could ever consider supporting is the IRA who fought British soldiers in our very own fields in the Michael Collins era.

  • @Hellfryable Can't remember exactly what I said in the moment but yeah I do speak for myself as you do - btw - I'm not a lad anymore lol

  • @Hellfryable The people who fought in that era that you admire were from the south of Ireland Cork and Dublin in particular lest you forget but murder is murder - Ireland was named by the romans - Hibernia - the land of winter - but you know as well as I that this is not a subject that can be trashed out on you tube and context is always lost - I think in some ways the tube is a very very bad platform for political debate and causes more harm than good

  • how could u dislike this!!

  • Γαμώ την Τουρκία.Fuck the Turkey.

  • @jasontheodosakis

don't cry... your bad words don't change anything..just make some noise which is bow-wow

    like a doggg

  • @jedus07 you are a HORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRible human being ... ugh ..... go away

  • If you're Irish this will make your blood boil

  • @agrayjr774 With what? It's a nice song, but I can't say my blood is boiling as I sit here in my birthplace of Dublin listening to it.

  • @agrayjr774

Don't have to be an Irısh for that, believe me my bloods boiling right now.

  • @agrayjr774 im american this still gets me

  • sinn fein

  • I an Finnish and I want Ireland to be An Ireland

  • @jazzuka lol i want to be an ireland repspects to finns you held of the russians and killed more of them than they did u in ww2.

  • @jazzuka I am also Finnish and i love this song.

  • After listening to this you just want to go out and take our country back !

  • fuck i love being irish.......

  • *patriotic tears*

  • I'm a French catholic and I support the war to the independance of ALL the island of Ireland !

I pray for the liberation of the North of Ireland occuped by the United Kingdom !

God be with you my brothers catholics of Ireland !

  • @enfantdeDieu You think that's why the war was fought? I'm an Irishman and a Catholic, you think either side fought in my name? Thou shalt not kill, remember that one? The IRA didn't

  • @Hellfryable Your speaking from a modern perspective - I couldn't kill something or someone ever but if my family and home were threatened I would become as feral as the next man and tear somebodies head off with my bare hands as would you - there isn't a single point of view that will fix this - There is nobody that can find the formula a universal theory for everything in Ireland - but please ... Ireland is NOT the north of Ireland - That's a small piece of history - it goes further!

  • @enfantdeDieu ??? Maybe you want Alsace and Loraine back to the germans too while u r at it?

  • @enfantdeDieu

FUCK YOU. Ask the people of Northern Ireland what THEY WANT.

You are just an idiot who has bought into Republican propaganda. These bastards murdered men, women and children deliberately and you think they are some sort of heroes??

They murdered Spanish Catholic children in Omagh, the town they bombed you fucking idiot

    How about independance for Corsica?!

One moving score from a film and you think you know everything about NI

    PUTAIN!

  • @sanjeetakaxaero Can't say I'm surprised. Cause it's almost impossible not to support a great resistance like this.

Fight Ireland, fight and never give up. As you see, these much country are with you. EIRE GO BRAGH.

  • @DaMoSshArdam Very well said pal...with what happened to Ireland, my blood boils. I am not Irish. Yet I believe that, if people unite to support Ireland and their cause, their strength would get seven fold and there is fair chance of them regaining what rightfully belongs to them.

  • @sanjeetakaxaero I'm guessing you don't understand the first thing about the conflict, the way it was fought, by whom it was fought and the real reasons why it was fought. Look up the bombing of Enniskillen and tell me that was justified or that those target where legitimate. The vast majority of the Irish people don't and didn't support these terrorists, and wish to live in peace with our neighbours. The people of the North should decide their own path, and if that's with the UK so be it.

  • @Hellfryable I am 100% with your statements. I may support the cause of it but I would never take side where innocents lose their life for nothing. My heart goes out to those who fought and sacrificed their lives for the sake of freedom and only that!

  • As a piece of a country who had fighted against England in the past, whenever I listen to this song, or watch "Braveheart", I feel my eyes filling with tears.

Eventhough we don't believe in the same religion, and share almost no similarity, support from Turkey, Ireland. Live long. (BTW sorry for my English)

  • @DaMoSshArdam same here pal

  • fuck "Great" Britain. Up The PIRA

  • No retreat, no surrender, Fuck the RA !! Remember 1690 !

  • @heather4861 No i can not because i wasnt alive then, i dont think i will recal an event that happened before my lifetime. Please use your knowledge and stop spreading hate on this page and go away, no one wants you here.

  • With a southern english accent and an irish name, I consider myself to be a nomad to either constituent hahaha...

  • Tiocfaidh Ar La.

  • 2 fucking british. LONG LIVE I.R.A.

    from Spain.

  • Reading all of these comment makes me contemplative. Some of the best (and worst) contributions to this world are a product of Brits, Irish, Scots, Welsh, etc. I'm American. I've seen my country do some very careless things in my lifetime, but we've been pretty loyal allies and friends to all of you guys. Hell, a significant portion of us still have relatives in all of your countries. Try to cease fire and bury the hatchet cousins. We're got newer, bigger threats to tackle. Cheers.

  • something amazing happens when those strings kick in...

  • Love this song. I like quite a few songs from Ireland. :)

  • Tiocfaidh ar la!

  • @ZippoMontefiore can u tell me what u wrote means?

  • @08valsa "Our day will come".

  • Fuck the England

  • @Sejanus Fuck you, you utter cunt.

  • Qrva nagy zene

  • @seniorrosa good stuff :)

  • @acesas69 I feel this music as deep as my soul my friend

  • Almost sounds like the cranberries.

  • @TraumaWard313 Are you being funny? On the off chance you're not, the singer-Dolores O'riordan-IS the lead singer of the Cranberries, silly. Seriously, check out all her other vids on YT.

  • @sheplaysajag Woops I genuinely did not know :p Thanks for the info. *slaps self*

  • @TraumaWard313 Now worries. You had a good ear to pick up on that.

  • I'm Croatian, and I'm proud abouth that, but if sombody, for example, tell me that I can't be Croatian and that I must choose between nationalities I would be Irish....You are great nation, and u should be proud with it. I support u!!! Saoirse na hÉireann!!!!!

  • ...north. I mentioned the inbreeding cro-magnon earlier. This is what I meant. Just a small group following the herd and possibly laying the foundations for metal trade to develope in Ireland. But in this scenario they're not Scandanavians sailing from the north but central Europeans (from France or Germany?) from the south.

  • ...somewhere else, there for access to the tin. My position was that this was actually part of an isolated tribe from central Europe who followed the ebb and flow of the glaciel ice over hundreds of years and settled in camps going further north as the ice receded. There's even evidence of camps along that circuit which coincide exactly with migratory patterns on the mainland, suggesting an even older tradition of camping along the edge of glaciers untill land richer in tin was uncovered further

  • ...hub thanks to it's proximity to The Baan. I cited a dig in Wales where they found a compass/calander similar to the Baan Disk, and made of metal probably from the same area, but which pre-dated the Baan Disk by about 1500 years. This could prove that there was mining going on in Ireland long before Mount Sandel became an export hub and in order for that to be the case there either had to be people already there long enough to develope a metal-working/mining culture, or skilled settlers from..

  • @FrowningGORILLA yep the welsh where the frist on the island of britian but where froced away from southern and eastern england by germanic tribes/anglo saxons there are many sub races in ireland but where i live there isnt many irish with afros arent they called buarn? thats mostly down south as we say.

  • Tachraidh hwid na daoine, cha tachair cnuic na. Men will sometimes meet, but lands never will. Keep the passion, baby. Keep the heart, but don't forget your cousins across the water.

  • ...the Firbolgs interbred with after they invaded. Just fairy tales, right? But based in fact. The Fyormarians were probably Phoenicians from Lebanon who sailed from north Africa, (which would later become Carthage,) to the Iberian Peninsula, stopping in Galicia, (where black-skinned berbers speak a Galic dialect to this day,) and from there to our own island of Eire. There are even stories from northern Africa of the "tin islands" north of Portugal (which means Door to Gaul, Gaulic/Galic.)

  • Nah, baby. It's always been that way, and always will be. They don't believe the lies, they just want you to. And if you do, you're divided from the rest of your brothers and sisters and the world is divided up as well, while all the control goes to the ones who told the best lies.

  • @FrowningGORILLA Thanks for the support! I just loved this song and it reminds me of my Irish heritage, even if Im African American or at kidri0t put it, 'mongrel', I am who I am and anyone else of the Irish heritage, full or half, or watever, should be proud and united. Not disrespectful or rude toward others.

  • @taria4eva Unity's what we all aim for, whether we know it or not.

  • @FrowningGORILLA the frist people on this island came from the north look up mountsandel its more than 9000 years old this makes Mountsandel the oldest known human settlement in Ireland i live in coleraine mountsandel fort is across the river from me and its at the very top of ireland.

  • @kidri0t I'm glad that you brought up Mount Sandel. I read in school that there was no evidence of humans before that, but I wrote an essay about the possibility that Mount Sandel was just one of a series of hunting outposts used by a single family of nomads who followed red deer for generations, and may have been part of an even earlier migration who tracked the deer all the way from central europe via a land bridge across the english channel. Later it evolved into something like a trading...

  • ...and their ultimate goal is control of a geographical region. The people telling you these lies in the first place could give a fuck about racial purity, it's just a means to an end. They know race is an illusion. They act like they want to do something about the dilution of their people, as though every race was always clearly defined and seperate from the others and it's only a new thing for people to travel to distant lands and mix their genes...

  • Consider that throughout history, whenever someone has a really big lie to sell, they start by basing it on race. "Racial purity". "The Master Race". Basically they hijack the point of view of a group of people and tell them they have to agree with them or they're betraying their race. And of course there's always some geographical twist to it. "This is our land, theirs." "We are European people, not them." It's because race is the most obvious thing for them to base our differences on...

  • If your idea of a European race is based on one basic stereotype that should be preserved and protected from "dilution", you're missing the big picture here, and if you expect us Irish to buy it, you're a damn fool. Oh, and if none of you were aware that black North Africans were among the first to settle Ireland, you've never seen an Irishman with a shro. That's right, shro; Irish-Afro. Big poofy fuckoff Irish hairdo from hell. Sporting one now myself.

  • @FrowningGORILLA Americquan shut up and stop spreading your lies.

  • @kidri0t Get's to you, dosn't it, to think everything you've been taught by people you thought had your best interest at heart only adds up to a bunch of bullshit. Why would you let someone trick you into rejecting your brothers and sisters and cousins? Why let them fool you into denying a part of who you are? Or what you can become? Are their lies worth it?

  • @FrowningGORILLA considering im 6ft 4in blonde hair blue eyes i dont see how im african or middle eastern most the people i know are pretty much the same out of my class of 22 only 1 person had brown eyes and black hair.

  • @kidri0t If your family's Irish cousin, I promise you it's in there. My grandad was a Shelkie. He had black hair and green eyes, so he looked like a normal white guy, and the rest of his family had blond hair, but his gran's eyes were black and she looked Mediteranian. And come on, mate. Your blond hair came from our Viking ancestors who told stories about pretty brown women on the island. Or what about our own stories, even older ones about the Fyormarians, the "black sailors" who...

  • @kidri0t we have 1000s of ancestors but it really is only is the last 7 generations that count im danish or germanic i cant help it but i love this island and id die for ulster as many have done before.

  • And you know it's true. Why else would one island isolated from the rest of the world have such a mix of brown skin with frizzy black hair, pale skin with wavy blonde hair, and red hair with green eyes and freckles? How do you define a "European People" and still include Irish in that definition without aknowledging our complete heritage?

  • all of you dont know what you are talking about unless your irish

  • this song is so beautiful!!!

  • THE IRISH FAMINE WAS NOT A FAMINE.IT WAS A HOLOCAUST!!!! GOD BE WITH YOU RIRA/CIRA

  • I don't care about your consideration, I am what I am and I embrace all cultures that my family has in our blood.

  • Long live Ireland... god be with you all.

  • This song makes me proud to be Irish and African, yay Dolores O'Riordan!

  • @taria4eva african? how can you be irish and african?

  • @kidri0t simple, my grandfather was born in Ireland and my grandmother was from Libya. They had my mom and my mom is half Irish while my dad was African American then they had me. Why?

  • @taria4eva then i dont consider you irish.

  • @kidri0t I don't need your consideration; who are you to decide if I'm part of the Irish culture, you're not God

  • @taria4eva your just a mongerl thats part of the genocide of european peoples and i did say "i" dont consider my opinion so go fuck yourself!

  • @kidri0t lol your both a joke

  • @kidri0t Don't be a twat. We Irish redefine the term mongrel. The first people on the island were one or -maybe- two families of interbred/inbred cro-magnon hunters, then Phoenecians, Britons, who were just part of a larger wave of migrations from southern Europe, followed by Picts, then Scandanavians. Ireland was the final destination for all of Europe and half the Middle East and Africa. So after the Old World fucked us, we've come to the New to fuck the rest.

  • @taria4eva Ireland was the perfect breeding ground for the -real- master race; that is, the -human- race. And we've all got a stake, black, white, Irish or not. Anyone who says otherwise is foolin themselves or just tryin to fool you to keep you devided from your brothers and sisters.

  • Fantastic song..... <3 <3

  • I love Ireland, such a beautiful country.

    Free Ireland.

  • Thought the film was crap what with that New York cop trying to solve problems that were none of his business but this song is wonderful.

  • BEST OFF Song ! Dolores ! God bless Ireland...........

  • ffs will people actualy understand that most people in England(including me), Scotland and Wales are sympathetic and supporting to the republicans not the loyalists. By the way by leting fianna fail into power you are giving the 26 countys that you fought for back the Elizibeth Windsor and her government but they rule via companies rather than by state. Did you just ignore everything James Connolly said?

  • It makes me cry, even though I'm not irish ....It's beautiful!

  • go raibh maith agat

  • go raibh maith agat Eireann!

  • They tried to take my pride but they only took my father from me...
