  • I rode across the USA in 2007 to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research. I absolutely recommend it for anyone so inclined...I did it at 58, and a friend of mine did it last summer at 67. Camping was great and since I went alone I could make my own sites in some great spots. I plant to do it again this summer, 2011. If anyone has a question, I'd be glad to talk.
