Absolutely beautiful and heart full . You have played it with soul. I am moved beyond words because I have struggled with this song to play it exactly this way - finger picked with a Lead and Rythm combination but just have made no headway at all . So for me this is so wonderful to hear and see the fluid way you move through the finger placements

The way I mostly play - arpeggio rhytm and lead combination, narrows my possibilities a lot. So I really don't know when or how it happened - suddenly one day I just found myself playing 'Golden Heart'. I felt the tune was like specially created for my style, turning out to be playable beyond all my expectations.

And now I'm close to speechless too - thanks to your encouraging comment!

Well, that's how I do it!. I've got five fingers on my left hand, and I think it's pretty fair that my thumb does its 20% effort. By the way, it's completely self-teached, and it works...

I agree with arpeggio on this one! Music is an art of expression, and in other words, there's no wrong way to play it as long as the musician has expressed himself to his satisfaction. I say if you have five fingers on your left hand, then go for the thumb arpeggio! Very nice technique!
