for example, a bitmap file made by MS paint, and someone can rewrite it by using other software..PSP etc. Same as this procedure.

@CRwatcher oh i see, thats what action replay does as well nowadays (still all in hex through, but just changed save data), its just there was a tool on internet that goes to the bank where the starter pokemon data is and changes them (the rom itself), so i thought thats what you did.
