Seems to be afraid to actually be judged for his music as art so he hides behind comedy to self deprecate ( defecate ) himself. True he may be much more obscure if he showcased his musical talent only while comedy severs his satirical nature. Bu even though he does manage to combine the two well we are still left with an incomplete experience. Someone needs to put their foot up his ass and make him commit to only one theme per performance or he will fade away.

@FreewheelinPhrank i can understand what you are saying but i believe you are wrong. reggie is an entertainer. music, comedy, singing, slapstick (all things reggie does), are forms of entertainment. if removed from titles, and given the general title of simple entertainer he will be able to excel. if people, whether like you or otherwise are unable to remove the blinders from their eyes, those that need to categorize everything, than it is true that he will not fit and possibly fade.

reggie more than likely lives a life of constantly being judged, before he can even make a sound. i think that reggie uses comedy as a way to express to people what they other wise don't want to hear. often his jokes seem to poke fun at the very people laughing.
