hmmm. Most White ladies like to be asked for ID. I had this girlfriend in the East Village.. we were not the same age, she was maybe 35 I was 44-ish. She got asked for ID, I was asfter her.. I susect it was a compliment!

Well, not to defend the ID thing but I think that's more with state requirements. Everyone has to overprotect to make it look like they're doing they're job. I'm sure the cashier's don't like it, if someone else sees them not checking your ID they can get in trouble. It's stupid, yes, but hard to believe they only checking blacks. I've seen everyone get checked.
I've experienced this situation a few times and I just stop going to businesses that want to treat me this way. Losing one customer may not seem like a big deal but it is. There is always alternatives tfinding places that sell what your looking for. It all works out in the end.

For me i took something from the shelf it had a lower price on the product, I think it just went up, but the price wasn't changed. And they tried to charge me the new price.
