I have nothing agains any of the imports , i love a nice car when i see one, dont care were it was made, im kind of a mustang guy and its just the car i like, but the thing about imports its their crowds , i go to a carshow every friday and u got ur Import lot and the domestic lot, its totally different, when u walk into the import lot u feel like you are going to get shot , they arent as friendly as any of the people on the domestic lot.
And the reason old muscle cars can make that kind of power and be street legal is because most don't have to take an emissions test, even in CARB states.
Where I live there aren't many import cars. But I'll give the same respect to a 11 sec Mustang as a 11 sec Nissan. As long as your car runs good, sounds good, looks good, then I'll respect you.

At Pinks all out events I've been to for example at Commerce they were 2 FWD imports, 1 of them put something all down the dang track. Thats a 50% break rate. Charlotte ZMax out of 8 or so I remember like 2-3 breaking. Huge break percentage vs all the V8 muscle.

if you put 60 grand under the hood of a honda, and only have 335hp, that persons a fuckin idiot... here we go, 5 grand for a k series, swap that in a eg, its a 12 second car, then build the suspension and tires... and do work to the motor and turbo it, you have a 9 second car.... with well over 335hp

@MrNjracer 60 grand lol for 335 you can get 400-500 for around 4k built i did it and it was reliable and getting close to 30 mpg. k series is beast tho when turboed. i agree you are and idiot if u spend 60k and only have 335 you could blueprint your own setup for well under 10k and be in the 9s or 10s

At Pinks all out events I've been to for example at Commerce they were 2 FWD imports, 1 of them put something all down the dang track. Thats a 50% break rate. Charlotte ZMax out of 8 or so I remember like 2-3 breaking. Huge break percentage vs all the V8 muscle.

i have nothing against american or import cars all can be good with the right money and imagination to build. but i do know neither of my cars are 14 second cars lol my first car i bought in highschool 1989 toyota supra mk3 with a 1jzgte swap and my second is 1993 toyota supra rz with a japanese 2jz twin turbo. but like i said i like all cars. im working on a 69 charger r/t and a bmw m3 at my old mans house. simply said i dont choose any group b/c i personally just love cars in general B)
