  • 5:00 AM I ON YOUTUBE?!?!

  • im fuckin 20 and that peanut puzzle i cant even solved it, lol the ape is more smarter than me =)

  • Are 144 people creationists?? O_o

  • @Hotwhire

Or get her ass eaten. Lol

  • People dont realize that the wonderful tools we have in society is due to cooperation among millions, millions of laboring humans from across the world. A car is not built by any single human being. Nor is an Iphone. What we know about the world, is due to the build up of human knowledge from 10's of thoussands of years or perhaps longer.

  • Gee, that 8 year old still tried to reach with her hand?

  • lol

  • haha the chimp peeing to get the peanut

  • haha first test was funny !!

  • life is awesome :O

  • LOL pissing in the tube classic!

  • u call that hiding?

  • 144 people are afraid apes will put humans in zoos some day.

  • in the wild chimps use water to get the termites out of its nest.

  • Ceasar pissed to solve the problem :D

  • @RacinZilla007 This made my day! Caesar <3 lol

  • lol... I would have starved but never figured a pee could get me a meal... looks like that cimp is smarter than me... :D

  • chimps are about as smart as an 8 year old kid lol whoop de doo

  • @0mizar You're an idiot.

  • chimps used tools before us humans ..man we SUCK :/ *facepalm*

  • @MJafro They may have used tools before us, but at least we expanded on our tools and improved them. :p :D

  • Creationists hate seeing the truth.

  • @hotwhire They're just annoyed because evolution disturbs their religious world view.

  • I think it's the fact humans don't have to gather food under these types of conditions regularly is why they are confused. Chimps however are used to gathering food placed anywhere in a natural or similar enviroment. Their brain naturally tells them what logic to use. I think Modern man has lost a lot of instinctive behavour on nature by our success. (only boy scouts and campers retain that knowledge fluently.) Grab an materialistic teeny bopper, throw her in the woods and she'll cry or suicide.

  • Two different tools!!!... I use more than two different tools to brush my teeth.

  • why have they checked humans at 2:08??? of three kids just the last one has solved the problem. and she took more than the 3 years old orangutan!

  • Comment removed

  • if every single human being left the world today. I guarantee chimps will adapt and evolve to rule the world just like humans do.

  • some of these apes are smarter than some humans i know.

  • lol he peed in it > >

  • lol at the pee solution

  • Did he just eat a termite? Arn't those things toxic to people?

  • A++ for the chimp

  • Interesting that the chimp had an easy time thinking of urine as having the same, necessary properties as water for solving the puzzle. In there somewhere is a very definite concept of "liquid" and some of its properties.

  • Why so many people disliked this video?

  • @wolfgangouille they're apes

  • @ForABetterTomorrow I'm afraid they are worse than that. Christians maybe.

  • @wolfgangouille Creationists voteboting. -_-

  • Absolutely brilliant, by changing the stick into a brush it increases the surface area in which the stick can capture more termites. Logic at it's finest.

  • Wow, that peanut test was IMPRESSIVE, like seriously. I had no idea they were that smart

  • I lmao at the peeing chimp lol

  • he pissed in the tube rofl

  • lol clever chimp :)

  • Such uneducated drivel.

  • ape come

  • ape come

  • apes come into your daughter comes out ?

  • @992105 What? It doesn't happen like that.

  • 5:03 is EPIC

  • Love the chimp's idea on how to get at the peanut.

  • Humans have decreased canine teeth, a feature that stands alone in the primate world. Usually canine teeth are used for dominance displays and mate selection. Fossils like Ardipithecus show that decreased canine size evolved along side bipedal locomotion. One possible explanation for this is that females were selecting males who could walk farther distances and gather more food instead of males who were aggressive, perhaps problem solving and general cognitive ability carried similar weight.

  • @Encratis reference?

  • @gluetubeserver

    Owen Lovejoy's homebase theory.

  • @Encratis thanks, and if females favored cognitive ability, scientists wouldn't get any work done ;p

  • @gluetubeserver

    This is true haha.

  • @Encratis I walk 10km a day and I don't have a girlfriend :(

  • @Encratis Perhaps large canine teeth still plays a role in our genetics, i mean look at twilight and our fascination with vampires XD lol

  • how did we evolve from apes?? WE DIDN'T god made us.

  • @TheStonebranchbadass that's a metaphor dude. it probably symbolizes a whole new era of being human.

  • Ha he pissed in it now that is creative thinking

  • The problems I have with the religious people who attack evolution: 1) Evolution is concerned with the origin of species, not the creation of life, which is a field called abiogenesis; 2) They don't understand the basic premise evolution (common ancestry) and if they did, they would realize it is not an attack on their creation myth; 3) Hyping a false "creationism vs. evolution" debate that doesn't exist and doesn't even make sense 4) misunderstanding the word theory in a scientific context

  • sooo thats what termites look like

  • I don't think even I would have come up with that solution...don't think I would want to eat the peanut afterwards though, eww

  • why the hell is evolution even a conversation here (yes, I'm looking at you religious people). Is it that threatening that apes happen to be intelligent that you have to deny facts? Oh, who am I kidding. Of course you fuckers deny facts! How else could you have 'faith'.

  • @MsbacktoNYC DONT STEREOTYPE EVERY RELIGIOUS PERSON LIKE THAT i am a muslim and firmly believe in evolution and as you said the evolution vs, creation talk isn't reacted here at all IDK why people bring it up every where chimps and humans are compared. May be they cant stand the fact that some species are very close to us. They see a black wall and say its white :)

  • @alifaraz2193

Because where I live, quite a few Christians are currently on a crusade to put creationism in schools - or, and they'd really like this, ban evolution. So its easy to get caught up in stereotypes, especially when your education system is at risk.

  • omg it peed!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha

  • I bet Dave Morgan is tapping that ass.

  • Evolution is hundreds of years older than Darwin, he didn't come up with it. Darwin’s contribution is the theory of change over time, which has been scientifically proven time & time again. Evolution is the foundation of modern biology, remember that the next time you're in the hospital.

  • @KenMacMillan

You think that we are monkeys...

    Pfffft!

As if we go "ooga booga!!! ooga boooga!!!"

    THAT'S SILLY!!!

  • Is not about the age of ape or human, they are not looking for the smartest species, because is obvious

They want to see if they can perform the tasks

  • fuck religon facts over myths

  • @csmo07 So you prefer myths over facts? Dumb. Really Dumb.

  • Apes are smarter than than most humans, the dumbest animals on the planet are religious people.

  • @001Deadalus Like religious humanist scientists?

  • This show is really stupid! They should really be comparing ADULT humans with adult apes.

  • @N00bcrunch3r They compare them at all levels, this one just focuses alot on human children to adolescence and there is a reason for it.

  • lol @ the narrator: "an eight year old GIRL also looks puzzled" hahaha

  • Those apes could have their own space program for all we know.

  • Termites are nasty tasting!!! Very sour, like ants. Not my choice of snack food, unless they are fried. Much tastier that way!!

  • Apes are awesome, and smart!

  • it's like they know...lol i love apes and chimps

  • its all freaken obvious that the water is like right in front of her LMAO

  • @yesenia1070 You solved this problem when you were 4?

  • as if that 8 year old tried for over a minute to stick her fingers down that tube. i would think a 8 years old she would be able to figure out right away that her hand was not going to be able to fit. winner, aps. especially the one who peed in the tube

  • yes, we both create tools. The main difference is, we like to create. We create for the sake of creating, and take pride in our work. They create only if it has some sort of practical use.

  • i think what make us different is oure arrogance and selfishness.....

  • this is unbeleivable!!!! now tell me that we are not sharing the same ancestor!

  • HAHAHA that chimps was a pimp

  • i wish i was an ape!

  • A big difference is humans ensalve other humans. Humans cut threes and pave the ground, killing the land.

  • @cyclenut but you know, when i look at the animal kingdom, i always thinik: if animals were able to do what we do, i don't think they hold back. i mean look at grasshopper swarms don't really care about nature either.. the reason animals don't behave as bad as us, i think, is because they are not able to.

  • Wow it took an eight year old to solve the peanut test.

  • @SarahLee1 this is around the age that children enter the concrete operational stage.

  • @Juxtaroberto Yes, of course you're right. :) I just feel like I could've solved that before I was 8 years old, but the human mind is just so remarkable in all its functionings and complexities, it makes up for any perceived delays in development. I guess looking back as adults, we would consider it very simple, but that's because our brains are fully developed (except for perhaps 40 percent of ytube commenters, as I've noticed around some videos).

  • lol i would of never thought of pouring water into he tube to get the peanut and im 14....

  • Sometimes I touch myself.

    Oh wait, wrong video.

  • lol he piss the problem out

  • @Whatsmahpasswurd Yeah that surprised me too but if you notice many humans just do what they are taught to or they learn to. Few people have inventive minds and it is on the works of those people that we have advanced. An average human is not very much smarter than a chimp I guess!

  • Fuck! These apes are smart!

  • i wonder how much dna is shared between the theist and atheist?

  • @aeroshock1 I think jus one gene.Atheist dont have stupidity gene in them. (Just a Joke...my theist friends are as smart...may be situational/local Gods make them theists.)

  • hahaha she actually bit the stick xD to make a brush. . . PSyYYCHOOO

  • LOOK i didnt rate badly i rated a 5 because this is cool and i do belive cavemen but at the same adam and eve you wont get it but this does make since

  • They are embarassingly more like us.

  • @Hotmonkeylovin Sorry they are proudly more like us...lolz

  • The reason these Scientific experiments do not have 5 stars is that there are humans who are scared to be compared with Chimps.

Perhaps religionists or people that look in the mirror too much.

  • There is an disease on YouTube of something called "votebotting". Creationists have sought out this solution to deal with their broken egos and low self-esteem.

  • i rated it 5 stars.

The stars not always means bad video sometimes also that they are not agree with some things etc :p

  • omg lol the chimp is too funny

  • 1:55 LOLOL

  • 1:50 AHAHAHA

  • @brianneruedy14 nothing ???

    all religion are fake

  • enough about religion already...this video is not about religion

  • yeah, I'm sick of looking into the comment section of every video I watch to see some idiots arguing about religion

  • I couldn't agree more!

  • lol....he pisses in it...lol

  • hi, my name is panzee and i want investment for mass production of my brush tip termite hunting tool, patent pending. You'd be bananas not to take us seriously.

    ooh ooh ah ah

  • We humans are a little smarter than apes..BUT JUST A LITTLE

  • Yeah I want to see a human not making idiotic comments for a change.

  • WTF is wrong with you??? replying every fucking comment i have done??? well, when we stop killing each other, when we make conscience about our world and the global warming, and stop believe in a stupid fake god, then we will talk of how we are almost the same....

  • @michaelmusica

Wow... what an idiot... that's why we're called as cognitively evolved...

  • we just evolved faster and it could have been the other way around that apes ruled...

  • I think we simply evolved in an other direction which led to increased cognitive abilities and decreased physical strength and speed.

  • @HomoGnosticus

    oops spoilers... :)

  • lmfao @ peeing in the tube

    5/5!!

  • Its very foolish for people to rate down something so scientifically sound for such foolish reasons. If you believe in god then thats your choice, but don"t take away from the merit of this video because of that. People worked hard to do this research and to make this documentary. Grow up.

  • @asfrailas

thats cool but we dont know if religious peoples are the ones rating this video down, i think its a very interesting documental but other people might not think the same

for example im catholic yet i accept evolution as a theory, why a theory? becuz its too early in our existence as species to take anything for granted, i believe in god, that doesnt means i cant believe in science too

btw i rated this video up, very informative

  • shit, i didn't know peanuts float.

  • that's all i learned from this too :P

  • 1:57 hahahaha. lmao

  • peeing into the tube, now that is genius

  • @kevinscales Yep!

I'm not sure if it would be my preferred solution, but different strokes for different folks. :P

  • @kevinscales Not what I would do personally now, but maybe if I were wild and considered that a liquid be filled into the tube to recieve the nut; then I would do it.

It's scary to realise how similar they are, and annoying that religion begs to differ although the proof is standing strong infront of them.

  • @jameswsparker True. We are animals, there is no denying it. Or should I say: you would have to be as retarded as a young earth creationist to deny it.

  • @kevinscales but then the food will taste like piss

  • @kevinscales The chimp doesnt know that his piss is supposed to be dirty it sees it as a fluid and thus uses it for the puzzle. Its we who think that our piss is "DIRTY" chimps don't. They see piss and water as fluids, at least one of them does

  • @alifaraz2193 actually, healthy pee when it comes out of the bladder, is completely sterile. :)

  • psycho religious people, please, is this really so offensive to your irrational beliefs that you must rate the video a one? You are weak, and you will be ridiculed by future generations.

  • They will be ridiculed by Apes. LOL

  • @johntetzel Im religious and Im not gonna think something is shitty just because it doesnt go along with what I believe. But I am going to assume someone is a piece of shit for thinking that they are better then someone else.

  • @Holcomb227 thou must not swear!

  • @johntetzel

how do you know that only religious people rated it one? Don't stereotype.

  • @MrSantaClaws1001 Simple deduction, Watson. It's highly likely that those who thumbs downed this video were motivated by religion, just as you were, MrSantaClaws.

  • @johntetzel yeah, I don't understand why people are so dumb. I am christian and i still believe in the evolution theory. Please people, u are embarrasing all the christians

  • @johntetzel This is Proof of Common DESIGN not of Mud to Man Evolution. However intraspecies evolution is real. Look at dogs and goldfish. I like how the other side (secularists) fails to use capital letters, grammar and other errors.....that indicates low level irrational minds. A very amusing source of Psycho Talk indeed.

  • @johntetzel I am muslim and I believe such research is essential not only to understand our closest relatives but to understand our uniqueness as well. Also I partially believe in evolution and partially in creation I am a bit perplexed to be honest but still dont go on stereotyping all religious people like that.

Believing in god doesn't mean being dumb! although majority are :P

  • @johntetzel

yeah becuz religious people are the only ones that would ever rate a video down, or maybe all religious people absolutely reject evolution

despite calling religious people irrational your conclusions couldnt be more ilogical, they are based on fallacies, or to be more precise, hastly conclusions which have absolutely no place in the scientific method

you sir are as much if not more irrational than the people you ignorantly insult

  • @joseaca Ah, no need to worry - looks like my comment has been flagged for removal anyway. No more fallacies. Hey, religion is based on the biggest fallacy of all - appeal to authority (or the Bible or God) - an authority that does not exist. Circular logic? God exists because he says so? Bandwagon fallacy? "X billion people can't be wrong!" All religious arguments "beg the question." Loaded questions, false attributions, cherry picking, appeal to tradition... don't tell me about fallacies.

  • @johntetzel

and you just added a new fallacy to your argument "Two wrongs make a right", so just becuz you both use fallacies your argument is acceptable, please...

the problem with your argument is that you believe religious people are the ones thumbing this video down despite the fact you dont have any proof supporting that statement

for example im a christian, but i rated this video up becuz i thought it was informative, the fact i believe in god doesnt means i reject science

  • whats more i think the number of religious people that reject evolution is often inflated by the people who attack religion, for example, i live in venezuela nearly everyone is catholic here yet ive been taught about evolution since 8th grade, my mom a woman who goes to the church every sunday had nothing bad to say on the matter, noone ever made a rucus about that, its science, why shouldnt it be taught in schools?

sure i cant speak for all religious people, just sharing some of my experience

  • @joseaca You haven't been in the United States. There's a fairly large group of religious fundamentalists here always trying to get their religious doctrine to be inserted into public schools as part of the mandatory curriculum. What's even more frightening is that there's a lot of these crazies in the government too.

  • @derekxnl

then i must say thats retarded, i mean look over here, almost everyone is catholic christian and ive never heard in my entire life about any evolution protest, thats just dumb, maybe its just SOME christians groups in the united states, so i dont think its fair to put all religious people in the same bag

albeit to be fair the church does make comments of political nature over here, however i dont really think thats technically bad, i mean they are citizens afterall

  • @joseaca But they base thier ideas upon that religion. The longer something stays around the stronger the numbers grow. The stronger the numbers the more respect it is given. The more respect it is given the more people believe in it. It is a catch 22 just as many things in life, especially mordern life today. There are a few religions that seem harmless but Christianity and Muslims go way to far. It becomes their delusional reality which then becomes our consequental reality. Mankind suffers->

  • @zigglefritz1 you are basing your argument on a very small group of people, Christianity and Islam are 2 of the biggest religions out there if all of them really wanted research about evolution to stop, it would have already, we r talking about more than 3 billion people here

also what makes you think they live in a delusional reality? how about you? and im not even talking about the existence of god here, what makes you think evolution is the last word regarding the origin of species?

  • Did you know that christian and islamic creationists did the same tests as the chimps but alas they failed. Too dumb, too god damn dumb.

  • We're lucky we 're not in the dark ages, this retard zombies will burn us on the stick for heresy and witchcraft.

Hey! retards this is knowledge, pull your head from the stinking hole and learn science!! Islamists stay out of this page, not good for your health, we don't like ignorant baboons in this page or we will send you back to the stone age? I think you're already there huh! well we will put you in a cage in Guantanamo

  • @robertdjwizard Isn't that where they live already?

Haa ha, if I'm correct in saying; Science has proved itself, religion hasn't.

    Science win, religion fail.

  • 3.8k views. 200 votes. roughly 180 religious creationist extremist 1 star votes. please people. you are handing them youtube on a silver platern. low rated videos do not appear on the front page. this way religious zealots can censor what it is you see.

  • HAHAHAHAHA... 2:00 Brilliant!

  • termites look tasty.

  • rofl clever orangutang.

  • OMG lol at the peeing in the tube.

  • when it pees into the tube that was kind of gross. now the peanut is in the pee but he got the peanut anyways. lol

  • Если человек произошел от человекообразной обезьяны, то это явный прогресс, а если от бога то человек деградант.

If the people has occurred from an anthropoid it is obvious progress and if from god that the people degraded.
