Its very foolish for people to rate down something so scientifically sound for such foolish reasons. If you believe in god then thats your choice, but don"t take away from the merit of this video because of that. People worked hard to do this research and to make this documentary. Grow up.

for example im catholic yet i accept evolution as a theory, why a theory? becuz its too early in our existence as species to take anything for granted, i believe in god, that doesnt means i cant believe in science too

It's scary to realise how similar they are, and annoying that religion begs to differ although the proof is standing strong infront of them.

@johntetzel I am muslim and I believe such research is essential not only to understand our closest relatives but to understand our uniqueness as well. Also I partially believe in evolution and partially in creation I am a bit perplexed to be honest but still dont go on stereotyping all religious people like that.

whats more i think the number of religious people that reject evolution is often inflated by the people who attack religion, for example, i live in venezuela nearly everyone is catholic here yet ive been taught about evolution since 8th grade, my mom a woman who goes to the church every sunday had nothing bad to say on the matter, noone ever made a rucus about that, its science, why shouldnt it be taught in schools?
sure i cant speak for all religious people, just sharing some of my experience

There's a fairly large group of religious fundamentalists here always trying to get their religious doctrine to be inserted into public schools as part of the mandatory curriculum. What's even more frightening is that there's a lot of these crazies in the government too.

@joseaca But they base thier ideas upon that religion. The longer something stays around the stronger the numbers grow. The stronger the numbers the more respect it is given. The more respect it is given the more people believe in it. It is a catch 22 just as many things in life, especially mordern life today. There are a few religions that seem harmless but Christianity and Muslims go way to far. It becomes their delusional reality which then becomes our consequental reality. Mankind suffers->
