The Chapin Family are a very talented, incredibly gifted group of performers keeping the memory of Harry Chapin alive. He will never be forgotten. He was an incredible performer and a generous humanitarian.
I have seen this event a number of times when it has made it way to Illinois. It is a must see for the those intimately familiar with Harry's work or those that simply remember Harry from the radio with the songs like Taxi and Cat's in the Cradle. This intimate concert performance makes you feel like you've been invited (or snuck into) to a private Chapin family get together where every gets together tells stories, sing some of Harry's songs and a few of their own.
I wonder how different the world would be today if he was still here...
