  • she tore him apart.

  • I've beaten her, got a lucky draw against kasparov and won a thriller against kramnik, . . . . .(And then i woke up!)

  • Every time i see that game i think, how does she can be so good?? love you kosteniuk '-'

  • Великолепно

  • What if Anand plays b3 ?

  • Replying to '' jbat100's '' comment its true, she never posts games of her losing dispite claiming to. So only ever goes into blitz games, and the ones she has won then she becomes less talented at proper standard games............

  • btw she lost the 1st game so the match is a 1-1 so it is a TIE /DRAW!!

  • @Sasukekillsitachi .. Good to know..?

  • Lol KOSTENUIK FINISHED 19thz!! LOSER haha...

Carlsen became 1st ans Anand became 2nd!

Kostenuik is a fake than only shows her wins and mostly 5 min games.

  • This is blitz, not real chess guys, not worthy at all.

  • Seems like that Kosteniuk has a forte in blitz,i think that blitz is also a type of game that has its meaning(very good for training) but it is not accurate to show the player's true power..I think the lowest time to consider a player's power is a fast rapid game(25 min)

  • I want to see Sasha play Vishy in a standard game of chess, where they can both take more time to think. Let them play the best of six series.

  • women is more intelligent and higher in IQ level than man. this has been practically proven. good job Alexandra, keep beating men the so-called great chess champions.

  • @mautand troll detected

  • @r4f43ll, i am sorry what do you mean by troll detected. would you like to explain?

  • @mautand WIKI: In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

  • @jbat100 Thank you jbat for explaining the meaning of troll. However, I didn't intend to post blogs just to provoke readers or to play with their emotional behaviour. I said what I saw the difference between man and woman in the late 20th and in the current century.

  • @mautand your statement itself gives me a idea about your IQ...

  • @yapanuwan do you want to set a chess match of only 2 minutes with 0 increment time? I will tell u what is my IQ level.

  • @mautand chess skills ≠ IQ

  • @yapanuwan Yes it is, because Bobby Fischer's IQ, who was world chess champion, was detected 180. 180 IQ is above normal level.

  • Dear SassyJay2 , you find my worldrecords not only on wikipedia but also also here on youtube under the following word : NEWEKLOWSKY

Here you can see the worldrecordprogression from 1889 to 2010

    kindly regards from Germany

    Lutz Neweklowsky

  • @ChessQueen Dear Alexandra , to understand what I said please go to wikipedia in english and give in my name : LUTZ NEWEKLOWSKY Here you can find under the title "BEAUTY IN CHESSPROBLEMS" my worldrecord mate of the year 2001 , which humans can´t understand and VISWANATHAN ANAND said : "The best player in future will be the person who will be the best in learning and sometimes in understanding what computers teach to us."

Nowadays the computers CORRECT the openings of the human chesstheory.

  • @Moremover I looked it up and saw nothing to do with record mate perhaps you could post a direct link?

  • Kosteniuk sucks

  • funny thing is, Anand finished 2nd, kosteniuk is last... and 19 year old Carlsen is Champion! i'm scared of this guy

  • They both played way too slow after the opening.

  • Kosteniuk is a great chess player but she should try and practice a little bit of yoga!

  • alexendra z good 2 masterbate on

  • Why did anand give theirs pieces? He was a piece up with a better position i don't understand how he can lose this

  • who all bloody guys coughing there???

  • That was the shortest applaud i have ever seen/heard >_<

  • Personally I'v most likely watched all of her blitz games, and I believe she is the best pound for pound blitz player in the world.... Anyone agree???????? Opinion only..!!!

  • @SchradMaster She's a woman, she's lighter.

    :P

  • she's pretty. i wouldn't mind losing to her ;)

  • surely dis isn't the day for anand

  • is she lose because the time

  • It's funny, looking up videos on kosteniuk, you would think she never loses. All the videos she makes about the games she has won against top men (incidently always in blitz where pretty much anything can happen). A quick lookup on chessgames com shows that she lost far more games than she won against men. It's good that top women compete with top men, and in blitz they can win (very rarely in classical time control though). I'd like her analyses more if they didn't portray her as invicible...

  • I think it is only natural that everyone, including Sasha, wants to comment on their achievements rather than losses. Otherwise would be quite a maso exercise, don't you think?:)

  • Actually, you learn a lot more from commented games of people who lost and analysing their mistakes than people who keep on talking about how amazingky great they are. You don't see video after video of carlsen, anand, karpov, kasparov (...) commenting their wins, if anything you see them acknowledging mistakes. Kosteniuk is a great chess player, but her attemps at making people believe that she is better than the top men is blind feminism. She lost to Carlsen in regular time when he was 15.

  • @jbat100 in her defense Carlsen is a BEAST in chess

  • @bumblebee1607 Not true, one of my favorite chess players, Josh Waitzkin, commentates on many of his losses, because he feels he learned more from them even though he enjoyed winning very much.

  • she has the right to brag about anything if she can beat anand and all the other grandmaster (men)! give her some credit douchbag!

  • @khingratsaphone I said in my comment "Kosteniuk is a great chess player", if you don't consider that giving her credit then you need help. My remarks still stand, she discredits herself by portraying herself as invincible.

  • @jbat100 well in the games she was playing (won) she was invincible, that's wny she won! But what does feminism got to do with chess, or is that what you call "giving her credit"?

  • @jbat100 lol women

  • @jbat100 How many losses do you think are included in Anand's collection of his best games?

  • @jbat100 shameless self promotion is the pinnacle of achievement or better put. Don't put yourself down you will only fail moar.

  • @jbat100 She may indeed prefer to show her winning games, which is only logical!

but she does comment on her defeats aswell!

  • @jbat100 Yes, it's an increasingly common phenomena to promote women over men, for example every science show has a woman presenting the breakthrough, quite often not the primary scientist. Child prodigy news items focus on girls.

There is a concerted effort because men are the biggest threat to the new world order as they're more physically dangerous, have higher IQs and are more likely to challenge authority, thus they must subjugate men.

  • @jbat100 Exactly

  • Anand is distracted by her beauty - in a blitz game where time is such a concern this can cost him the match. Also, I think Kosteniuk is much better at blitz chess than standard chess.

  • She should be cleaning up the place instead.

  • You really have a very small brain don't you.

  • No, actually I have revised my opinion of Kosteniuk, having studied some of her games. She is one of the few women in the world capable of playing some decent chess.

But she is one of the really FEW women who can compete with the top men. The rest of them should be cleaning up the place and serving drinks to the men.

  • Thanks for the video!

  • Very nice but, Kosteniuk could be a little more polite and thank the applause? not just leave...

  • He did this on purpose? Like he did in last chapmionatship with Kramnik, when he lose teatraly few matches

  • Kosteniuk I love you

  • Diego Garces love her much better. She born him daugther.

  • I think it's very impressive how she pressured him with the timedeficency she had - well done!

  • Actually, the game is played '3+2', ie, you are supposed to get 2 seconds increment per move.

That's usual for most top-level blitz games.

  • nicely done indeed

  • i would have been so bummed by that glare on the board. draw the drapes! please jesus christ!

  • Kosteniuk is so cool.

  • why have you written all the moves? that must have taken ages...

  • Just to let people copy-and-paste them into programs that replay and analyse the match with easiness.

  • lol, he's probabely just copied them..

  • @GiorgeiX 23....Nb3+ 24. axb3 qa5+ 25. ra4 Qxe1+ 26 Ka2 Qb1# Kosteniuk missed this lovely combination

  • @zachattack661 You are right, but the excitement was probably the main character of the game. Nice question to be asked to Alexandra...

  • yeah anand is far from invincible

  • Well it's blitz;

    but the whole Qb3 & Bf7 maneuver just didn't "smell" good ;)

  • So much for what Fischer said about female chess players!

  • Teach me how to play Alexandra ???

  • Alexandra has written numerous books on chess that you can read. Also she has made dvd's and commented games on youtube.

  • Anand tenia al comienzo una pieza por 2 peones, nose ke vio... cuando hizo alfil x f7, complico la partida, pero kosteniuk se defendio bien, e incluso estuvo apurada de tiempo

  • Aaaah, this was sweet! Bravo Alexandra!!

  • Anand thought he was going to have a field day, he played without respect for her and he was duly punished. Nice manouevre Qc8-f5!

  • womens world champion beats men's world champion.

  • Wow! Kosteniuk, despite her rating, is one to never underestimate!

What a tremendous feat by Alexandra!

  • Excellent

Do you have Carlsen - Kosteniuk ?

  • Its amazing what these great players miss when they play blitz. At 6.54 Kosteniuk would have won straight away with Kt b3 check.

  • yes...after 1...Kb3+, 2. axb3. Then 2...Qa5#, 3. Ra4 Qxe1+ leads to a clear win, unless I am mistaken.

  • You are right !

After 23. Rxd4 it is a forced mate.

    Nb3+ 24. axb3 Qa5+ 25. Ra4

    Qxe1+ 26. Ka2 Qb1#

    So, Kosteniuk was 0:25 vs Anand´s 0:49....

  • ah, nice little tactic :). I don't think it's THAT amazing that they both missed it though. I think what happened was: Anand blundered (horribly). Kosteniuk on her part recognizes that she is playing the world champion and therefore trusts his calculation, concentrating on avoiding threats, not prioritizing the attacking possibilities enough and therefore misses a fairly obvious mating attack. This happens to all of us when we are defending a worse position or playing some1 higher rated.

  • Anand lost... There is no way of surviving the checkmate in two moves.

  • May be I´m missing something but i didn´t see a two-move-mate position in the whole game.

  • wow.. anand lost?

  • thanks! great!

will you post some of the games of tha final day?

    Anand-Carlsen would be great!

  • Thank you once again.
