  • Hey junkman, where is the rest of this intro to Adam's series? Where's part 2?! I don't see it!! :/

  • @tplastow87 As I say in my videos, you cannot sit here and watch these videos at You Tube. I did not make them to be stand alone videos. You need to go to Adam's Forums, where I have placed all of these videos in a thread. Within that thread, you will find all of the videos on a given subject, in order, along with important information about each video. They are in the area called "The Junkman's Corner", under the parent forum called "Detailing Nitty Gritty".

  • @tplastow87 This particular series is called, "Junkman's, How To Restore Your Finish - The Videos".

  • What if you are the UPS man...then what scream and run around after you deliver it to yourself? lol

  • @Acc0rd79 lol! You probably wouldn't get anything else delivered the rest of the day!

  • It looks like Part 2 of this series is missing! Am I just not seeing it?

  • @slydog75 No, I removed it. Go on to part 3.

  • @Junkman2000 Damn your fast.. But now I'm worried I'm going to burn up my PC!

  • @slydog75 As long as you use the correct extension cord (which is detailed in the PC's manual), you won't have to worry about burning it up. If you use my technique, you won't have to worry about wasting product or fatiguing yourself either. I can't speak for anyone elses technique, only my own. Lastly, where did you get the unit from?

  • @Junkman2000 The comment about burning it up was (mostly) a joke based on the last part of the Part 1 video... I bought the PC from Adam's as part of the Basic PC Kit.

  • @slydog75 Then you will be okay. Just make sure that you use the right gauge extension cord and don't starve the unit of current by plugging it into a circuit that has a hundred other things running on it.

  • @Junkman2000 Excellent.. Thanks JM

  • Thanks Junkman!

I now have some hope to get these little scratches out of the clear coat of my '10 Camaro!

    Off to Adam's I go.

  • @ebonpaladin Hey, welcome to my little channel!

Make sure that you don't just watched the videos here, start within my forum at Adam's Forums (The Junkman's Corner). That way, you don't miss some of the important text that accompanies each of these videos. That is very important!

  • Loving your videos great advice

  • @initialjcorral

    Thanks for watching!

  • Why would I want to hit the HQ button? You're hard enough to look at in standard def. Nice video series though.

  • @ponch38 You're cool bro. Come back when you have the balls to post your own videos.

  • @GrindVII OK, I apologize to you and the Junkman. You have set me straight in my ways.

  • @GrindVII Ponch is my buddy. I know him well. He's just "giving me the business". lol!

  • Junkman you rock!Junk finished your slow cut videos and I really learned a lot about the process and that I owe to you.Just purchased a PC 7424 and was kinda scared to use it at first but not now.You need to change your name from Junkman to MAGICMAN and thats all I have to say.Take Care,Flasheroo

  • Thanks Flash! Just passin' the knowledge forward!

  • Hey junkman, just going to be getting a new 2010 Camaro and seen your videos and want to get a PC 8^)

I use Zanio products. What pads do you recommend I get for my PC and from where? Also which pads do you recommend I used with what Zanio products??? Thanks for your time and LOVE your videos!!

  • I've used Zaino also and have some videos with their product. Very good product.

The pads I use are made by Adam's. I like them because it takes the guessing out of the pad game. One for heavy cut, medium cut, lite cut and one for wax. Bam, you're done. I suggest you get those.

  • Thanks Junkman. Since my car will be new, garage kept and never driven in the rain. Will I be able to get away with a lite cut pad and a wax pad? Thanks again for your help!

  • Sorry Junkman, one more thing. After say I polish my car with ZPC and say a yellow pad, what do I do with the pad after I'm done? Wash it? Blow it off? Throw it away? Thanks!!

  • First off if the car is new, it shouldn't have damage on it that requires ZPC. Z2 or Z5 should be more enough. Also, you won't be using a yellow pad on a new paint job either. That is way too abrasive.

If it were me, I would use a white pad and either some Adam's Fine Machine Polish or some Meguiar's M-205. It's been so long since I've used Zaino that I can't remember how Z2 or Z5 cuts so I'm a little foggy on which one to recommend as a light cut polish.

  • Yes, you may be able to get away with just those two pads as long as you

    A: wash the car correctly.

B: Don't wipe on the car all the time with detail sprays.

That will just introduce a tons of swirls into the paint because you'll do it wrong. I explain how to do it right at Adam's Forums.

You need to join Adam's Forums and go read all of the threads that I have started. All of the stuff you want to know and more is there.

  • Love it - but then again, I already did! - Jason

  • lol
