@icklerob im confused about that because it shows her watching the children choir singing and you see the colour, but if they did it all the time it would distract the viewer from the main object that would show the sound as colour.

@Hampro1 It is really fun and amazing, But there are down sides.... Like the feeling that no one else sees what you see...a feeling that you can never shake. And when you say you hate the letter F becasue it is an ugly shade of green/brown. Or when you say something tastes to Red... or that guys dark green voice doesn't go with the light blue piano so you tend to find the song not pleasing. Or when You say that this song looks like a lemon... people tend to look at you funny and not talk to you.

For me, Alphas is a substitute, not nearly as good as heroes, but somewhat along the same lines. One of the characters there has enhanced synesthesia, able to alternate between senses to enhance a specific one. It's different to what this lady, I always forget her name, can do

@shadowagentomega actually her powers is termed enhanced also because she is deaf. deaf people CANNOT have music-light synthesia since sound waves never entered the brain since the hearing organ is damaged. the signal cannot intercept other sensory organs if it never enters the brain.

@TheNeuromancer thanks for pointing out to but to be honest i read it somewhere in the internet. however, let me rephrase music-light synthesia, means from music to light. yours is touch, smell, tatse -sound. means your other sensory organs is working and you perceive it as sound means the signals comes from other organs to your brain and interpreted as sound. sound is heard in the brain but obtain from other senses. emma is unique because her starting signal is sound and her ear is not working

@cymjeff92 to make it clearer, your eg tongue is a working sensory organs so it can obtain signals. signal are interpreted as taste AND sound. the sweet and loud noise are signals sent by brain. in other words, your tongue doesnt actually taste, it only accepts chemical signals. if emma ear is damaged, she need to obtain the sound signal from other part of the body and that it is unique by itself, something ordinary deaf people cant accomplish biologically speaking

@TheM3cky that only applies if she is the one making the music. police siren, clappings and clashing of tins had a specific colors that she cant control. she also cant control colors of songs not played by her. (eg. peter and emma only watches the color of pianist playing a song without controlling the color and intensities)

I have colored projected sounds/music and colored numbers/letter. My brother has associated colored sounds and my sister has colored smells. One of my friends has sound to taste and I know two people who have personalities for every number.

A few other forms of synesthesia are colored numbers/letters, colored weekdays/months and having personalities for numbers or letters. People with synesthesia are born that way and can't 'turn it off'.

It's not weird, it's just the way some people perceive the world.
