Trust Boulton, Murdoch and Sky to let down the side in the first televised leaders debates...boulton has such an ego he couldn't resist promoting himself, don't forget adam your biased little news channel only has a pathetic 0.9% of audience share.
On those figures your playing second best to repeats of "Summer Wine" on UK Gold, just except it adam sky news is strictly fourth division, your no where near the BBC or ITV...your no more than a rich mans play thing.
@ericaambler That is not my concern. Newspapers may publish their editorial opinion - if you can call the Sun and the Mirror's stance an 'editorial opinion' - but I expect better standards during a TV debate in which the three leaders have agreed to certain rules. In future, I'd hope that these debates would feature solely on terrestrial television so that they can be watched by the whole population, and preferably on the BBC where impartiality is expected. Thanks for your point.
@demonhorse1982 well let me put your mind at rest: the majority of people didn't vote tory- i'm not going for that whole 'progressive alliance' thing BUT- the tory press, and i promise you this, put off so many people from voting anything other than labour. I'm a liberal voter, so I'm not necessarilly happy about that, but there was a decided anti-tory vote and i think the tory press helped to create that.
oh, come on- what did you expect? the uk public aren't so stupid that they can't see sky's tory inclinations. check out themediablog's survey- people aren't as dumb as murdoch thinks they are.
There's no way I'm going to be told how to vote by the Murdoch press. Nick Clegg gets my vote. Anyway, I chose him in the first debate on substance - I wish the press etc would stop insulting the electorate by saying we're treating it like the X-Factor - we're not stupid we do realise the whole point of the debates.

You didn't mind when Murdoch backed Labour. Try and be consistent.

@ericaambler How do you know whether I didn't mind, are you just making a huge generalisation of anyone not Tory?
I wasn't really that old at the time but I do mind it, it's not right for the media to have such control over things.
