  • My favourite track on A Night at the Opera. "Bohemian Rhapsody" = good. "Seaside Rendezvous" = amazing. Kinda puts it into perspective :-)

  • it's such a jolyfication as a matter of fact.

  • is it just me or does his music just make you smile?!?

  • i can't believe that i'm a fan of queen and i've never heard this song! i should be ashamed, this is sooo cooool!!!

  • Wonderful video congrats, and wonderful Freddie

  • another masterpiece from freddie x

  • This song always makes me happy! and this video is brilliantly funny!! The kazoo solo is my fav part! lol very nice.

  • Such a jollification, as a matter of fact!

  • one of my favorits from them!!!

  • Totally awesome is QUEEN. Even from back in the late 60s when they were college buds playing ORIGINAL rock music at frat parties, local pubs & whatnot...in fact, QUEEN is the ONLY rock band that can boast that ALL 4 members are actual college graduates, majoring in music which, explains THE GREATEST ROCK BAND OF ALL TIME. Sorry but, it's true - the Stones, Zeppelin, Boston, Rush - you name 'em - NONE of them can compare to the virtuosos that are QUEEN!! Only the Beatles can MAYBE come close!

  • c'est la vie mesdames et messieurs !

  • the shittiest of moods is always lifted whenever I put this on.Reminds me of Grandma

  • Very well done video to this great song! I've always thought this song sounded sort of "1920s-ish"!

  • 3 people dont accepted the invitation

  • This is a great start for any day

  • Just makes me smile.

  • Me too!!

  • Me too!!

  • I love this song!!!!!!

  • This is my "Happy Song." I love you Freddie and Queen! Thank you for making music that makes me feel so very much. :)

  • Nice video :D

  • Amazing shit right here. You either get it or you don't.

  • there are fake instruments starting from 0:53!! they are Freddie and Roger singing!!

  • the old fogies in '75 must've been off their tits hearing colonial nostalgia minty repackaged for them with such quirky droll and rich sonic texture and straight craftsmanship. from a young rock band to boot?!

  • @edmame haha - off their tits indeed!

  • Love It! Nothing more to say.

  • SEASIDE...WHENEVER YOU STROLL ALONG WITH ME....

  • I listened in a roll to Body Language, Dancer, Sail Away Sweet Sister, Dragon Attack, Dead on Time and then this. I cannot believe it is the same band all along. It's just incredible. Saying that Queen is a "rock band", like many people say, it's just an insult.

  • The fabulous Freddie. The fabulous Queen. There was no one like them. No one like him. No one even a little bit like them/him! Love you Freddie and the boys! Give us a kiss! :)

  • The fabulous Freddie. The fabulous Queen. There was no one like them. No one like him. No one even a little bit like them/him! Love you Freddie and the boys! Give us a kiss! :)

  • Meanwhile, I ask you to be my Valentine...

  • 0:23 da fuck is that?! eheh Queen rulez!!!

  • f*cking awesome!!

  • Reminds me of Grandma! LOL

  • Blackpool sucks

  • What a wonderful song!

  • Happy birthday Freddie!

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY FREDDIE, WHEREVER YOU ARE :)

  • One of their best songs ever! Sad it never got the acclaim it deserved!

  • a kind of vaudeville

  • One of the things about Queen, they always seemed to have a "Python" sense of humour.

  • I really suprised how freddie can wrote this kind of music..really brilliant...

  • I feel like dancing!!!!!!!!!

  • 1:25 :perfect:

  • Just wonderful! Could you imagine anything even half as good as this climbing the pop charts today? Actually, this track reminds me a little of McCartney's 'Honey Pie' off the White Album. Has that same lovely whimsical rag-time flavour ... Thanks for posting!

  • i love this song so much..

what kind of genre is this music?

    i feel soo happy

  • @felixmercury99 rag time? vaudeville?

  • This was written by Roger Taylor and Freddie:) Roger was tapping on the desk and Freddie was doing the woodwing with his mouth, it said so in their interview about this song:)

  • Am I sad? Run and listen to this song :D it always works, though I love Queen hard rocks

  • The background vocals at 1:41---enough to make a BeachBoys lover cry!

  • "i'll be your valentino!"

  • what kind of music is that? foxtrot?

  • Vaudeville?

  • Great electric guitar=orchestra solo :D

  • @jastrebok Electric guitar ? There's no guitar on that song, the orchestra solo was done by Freddie and Roger with... their mouths. Freddie did the "woodwinds" and Roger the "brass" (including the kazoo)

  • I love Freddys Sence of humour and genious art lover!!

  • love the guy at the end "give us a kiss!"

  • where is "gay lovers" in the definition???

  • "What a damn jolly good idea"!

  • haha i love that part :P

  • Love Mercury, you're in our hearts... Rock In Peace.

  • i feel i dancing...

  • one of the best album in history of music

  • @kitz8 reminds me of legend of zelda windwaker

  • happy birthday mercury !!!! you are the best !!!

  • Happy bday ......I love you.

  • Ha ha ha ha... Give us a kiss!

  • queen are more than a rock band they have great imagination. Around half of the songs on this album aren't really rock. But Guns'n'roses were still inspired to become a great rock band still.

  • Hot dog! Did you see those fine gals, boys? Imagine marrying that at age 20! That one there's got huge... morals! Come on, let's go take 'em out for the night an' treat 'em right! Aw, what now? War? Shucks!

  • THAT WAS FUN!

  • i love this song it good and puts me in happy place

  • Love Queen...I miss Freddie :-(

  • @4ADDL Love Freddie...I miss Queen:-(

  • A class act. A band that can turn their musical talent to all kinds of taste ..and this song proves it. Queen are one awesome band and I will never tire of listening to them. If you werent tapping your feet along to this one..then you must be dead!

  • you know the jazz sounding instruments like woodwind and tap dancing freddie and roger made those sounds using metal on a desk and there mouths

  • It's interesting to see how people had fun at the seaside those days

  • Wow this is so nice .. fitting great with the song .. Juck that fat man in the end . :D LOl

  • Queen music forever!!<3

  • good idea

  • This looks like some old swedish movie

  • The #1 Queen song in my book...

  • Hey You, lol! this IS a fun song, but my favourite is Hammer To Fall. i love the beat. Also, Bohemian Rhapsody!! xoxo

  • Wonder where Freddie found this footage. Brilliant for this compostion

  • Mercury died many years before this video was made.

  • really? i would have never guessed.....

  • you sure about that?

  • Video was made post 1991...

  • Fabulous

  • Dance Hall o Cabaret lo que sea mejor.

Esta cancion la considero alternativa a todas las conocidas por Queen.

Este si era talento para componer, igual un rock o musica de cabaret o un Vals fenomenos son este grupo..........

  • One of the best: make me feel happy! And one of the most representative of the musical genious of Queen

  • man i love queen

    freddie will live on forever!

  • Listening to Freddie speak is as grand to his song. I mean it Freddie.

  • this video is awesome! not to mention his singing!!

  • does anyone know which seaside this is about if any?

  • this video is funny. Great song

  • great video :)

  • yeah haha

  • beautiful song

    i like the weird-sound part

  • i think they did that part with Kazoo's

  • haha what is kazoo's?

  • "The kazoo is a device fitted that adds a "buzzing" timbral quality to a player's voice when one vocalizes into it. The kazoo is a type of mirliton - a device which modifies the sound of a person's voice by way of a vibrating membrane." - Wikipedia

  • wow I didn't know that

    thanks

  • Hey sorry someone got on my account

    but your welcome?

  • Actually the music part Freddie and Roger did with their own voices. And the tap dancing they did with their fingers!

  • What an absolutely lovely song! =)

  • Does anyone else find that laughing thing between 24 and 26 seconds scary? It is freaky looking. Anyway, I love this song, I can't get enough of it.

  • my sweet clementine

  • 1:03

    Battered Penis?!

    Haha sorry.

    Love this song =]

  • BLACKPOOL! C"MON DOWN!!

  • Amo esta cancion esta llena de sabor!!! cest la vie!!!

  • Lovely song!!!! La amooooo

  • *jk looking for something happy on this sad day*

  • LOVE THIS SONG!!! So great :D and makes me happy

  • "Can we do it again sometime I'd like that" =], oh yeah!!! So lovely!!! ;*

  • Hey! Anyone got access to Sweeney Todd By the Sea "music video" just realized that video and this seaside rendezvous are hilarious together XD

It's a perfect match, I love this video though...

  • Yeahh!! i heard this song for the first time a couple of months ago and star laughing 'cause Helena and Johnny came to my mind singing By the Sea xDDD.

  • I don't now what is better song or video. It is so good!

  • It's the musical equivalent of a Looney Tunes cartoon -- the creativity, the zaniness, the imagination. Many 70s bands tried to recreate the mood of the 20s/30s in their songs -- but none did so as successfully as Queen, and this song is the best of their "vaudeville" tunes. The video is an extra treat: like icing on a rich, wine-soaked fruitcake.

  • i luv the middle bit with freddie and roger :]

  • i like this version

  • is this the real music video??

well who cares this song is so awesome if u like this u will like good old fashioned lover boy by queen too.

i love how freddie and roger do that part in the middle!

  • This music video comes in the 30th anniversary edition of the album Night at the Opera.

  • Hahha i love this!!!

  • c'est la vie mesdames et messieurs...

  • Great video to go with a great song. Thanks

  • This song is simply amazing and beautiful.

I just love the old classic style of this masterpiece, the whistles, the trumpets, the piano, the voice... Everything. Than you so much for the video.

    Queen Forever

  • Great!

  • i love the trumpet impersonations!!

    god he was a genius.

  • FYI, Roger Taylor did the "trumpet" solo on this track.

  • Roger is fantastic!

  • them were the days eh,, fab song

  • i love this songgggg

  • i love this song...and video of course!

  • Another great video, thanks for posting!!!

  • muito bom....

    destruidora essa música, super clássico!

  • Oooh, my sweet sweet Queen...j'adore ça!!!!

Sono così bravi...e così teneri...LI AMO!!

  • I love this song dearly.

It always has the ability to make me smile.

    :)

Is this the official video for the song? Or did you put it together?

  • It's the official video.

  • Great song&video! THanKS!

  • I had one of my friends listen to "Don't Try So Hard" by Queen and she said that "the lead singer can't sing." I was like WTF? Some people have NO idea what good or bad music is...

  • Considering he was sick at that time, he still sounded amazing. Don't worry...that's just her loss ;)

  • I like it ;o)

  • 1:09-1:11 is done by Freddie =D

  • The different instruments between 55sec and 1:22 are all done by Brian May on his guitar.

  • No, the "instruments" in that section is done by Roger And Freddie by their voices!

  • I know I only realised my mistake after I commented, its the song Good Company when May plays all the parts of a band

  • I would love to see that done live!

  • Suena diferente porque hay secciones de instrumentos y coros que faltan o suenan mas bajo. Seguramente falta (o estan mal regulados) algunos canales de audio.

    Saludos

  • this sounds different O.0

    why?

  • because it's Queen

  • This song is awesome, thanks for posting this video!

  • buenisima cancion =)

    I love Queen!! T_T

    Freddie you're the best :D

  • thanks for posting.
