  • Why does Rothbard say the Harding recession lasted only 9 months? It lasted from January 1920 to July 1921.

  • @pipem4n Unless I'm mishearing him or being delusional, Rothbard says at 1:01 that the 1920-21 recession "was over in 9 months." But that recession lasted well over a year, from early 1920 to mid-1921.

    Don't misunderstand me. I admire Rothbard very much. I'm just wondering where he got his number from and how he arrived at it. Maybe he means 9 months counting from the date when the Harding government cut the budget, I don't know.
