  • What is this shit, ugh

  • @TheTroolari Quality music, kid! It says [dubstep] not [brostep]. I'm not hating either - I sometimes find myself listening to Skrillex or Flux Pavi or any of those arena-rock-dubstep dudes but Burial has way more flavor and emotion, not to mention I also don't have to be drinking or consuming drugs to whole heartedly enjoy a Burial track like I do that "other stuff"...I'm sure you smoke buds, just get high and give this another chance

  • PORN

  • USA SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTSSSSSSSSSSS ON ALLLLLLLLLL

  • @ThehardcorekidPSN For every person from America with significant contributions to humanity or science, there are countless more from other parts of the world; you're wrong.

  • Reminds me a bit of Dj Shadow. I like this song, it has just the maximum amount of that "wobble bass" I can take. I mean I listened a song of skrillex once I don't remember much about the song or that day but I woke up next morning from near by forest wielding a bloody axe, wearing pink shade glasses and nothing else.

  • POLSKA

  • My 1st Dubstep artist was DatsiK My 2nd was Excision You Gotta Hear There Amilli Remix!

  • fk sake put a drop in it

  • love the offbeat rhythm.

  • @qazzy i was really confused when it started

  • For fu*k's sakes!

Music belong to all of us and we share it with joy and we all love it

    why fight?!

    Dammit!

there are only good and bad music and now ya'll fighting about some stupid things?

    c'mon peepz

    calm and be in peace.

  • Dubstep is the best, I'm American and been listenin for years. Its not that we stealing it. Its that you cant keep something so dope a secret for long. That like us saying you can't have any Tupac or Biggie... its all love

  • @hottietoothfairy No, reggae and dub are not the same thing. Dub and dub production originated around reggae, but it's a very different music. Check around for King Tubby or Lee "Scratch" Perry and you can quickly get an idea of what it is.

I find the link to dubstep tenuous at best, but I dunno.

  • Having listened to Skrillex and a lot of the heavier dubstep that ThoughtlessCloud stereotypes as "American," I find this enjoyable, but something to get used to. It's great, just different.

  • This is awesome! I wish I was exposed to this first rather than skrillex.

  • @xBrawlyx I feel sorry for you if Skrillex was your first dub artist

  • @ThoughtlessCloud Mt Eden was my first dubstep artist and then Skrillex and I started to really get into Skrillex, then I did some research and found out some more traditional dubstep and started to listening to a lot of Skream and Mala and guys like that. I now prefer Skream over Skrillex but he's still really good even though he's not dubstep.

As for Burial, he's just amazing

  • Burial practically invented dubstep.

He isn't one of the best. He is the best.

And seriously whenever someone says 'this isnt dubstep' whenever I click their channel it always says 'Country: United States'

    Probably Skrillex fans.

  • wtf is brostep?

i stay from mainstream so i never heard of that shit

  • This shit sucks ass btw sounds like a bunch of children banging on pots and pans.

  • @Crimescene26 Chill bro...

  • america stop stealing our culture and music

  • @SalamanderOfficial

wait, doesn't dubstep root from hiphop?

  • @hottietoothfairy nope, dubstep has reggae roots

  • @Tersch

oh ok, makes sense. i forgot reggae was also reffered to as dub.

some us dub producers have experience with producing hiphop as well - fits together nice

to salamander's comment - when the u.s. was in it's prime, the world loved our music- from rock to hip hop and in between-

now we are in a slump - dubstep was fresh and new to alot of us so we couldn't help ourselves! haha

  • @SalamanderOfficial give us back hip hop and we'll give you back dubstep. fucking british accents dont belong in rap music

  • @choichoisoy Grime > American Rap

  • @choichoisoy

Grime isn't hip-hop. Not even close. Hip-hop is directly a jazz thing. Grime has a much longer evolutionary chain.

  • @dudejohnny ....never said grime was hiphop, thanks for the history lesson though

  • @choichoisoy

"british accents dont belong in rap music", so you're actually referring to rap music and not grime when you say that?

  • @dudejohnny after someone said america stop stealing our culture and music

  • @SalamanderOfficial Says the guy whose country stole rock and roll

  • @SalamanderOfficial

America was one of the MAIN reasons for dubsteps existence. Stop taking credit.

  • @dudejohnny No? UK/London was and then Jamaica and then us.....

  • @freaky4637

House evolved out of the death of Disco, which was an american thing. Dub is Jamaican. Those had inspired UK garage which was quicker than house and didn't have an american companion. American house tracks were played in the UK as a sort of 'Sunday Chillen' thing. The tracks had to be made into dub versions to avoid vocal distortion when sped up. That was the inspiration for 2-step etc. Some of that could be wrong as it's from memory, but you get the point. International stuff.

  • @SalamanderOfficial ayo we might have took it bt what would that mean?

that were better at dancin it and creating stuff with it. and who realy cares whos is it the music is for everyone. :)

  • @SalamanderOfficial I wouldn't call myself a patriot but England took almost ALL of their music from American music. I guess The Beatles invented rock and the Rolling Stones invented blues right?

When I went to London recently I heard mostly American music btw.

  • @SalamanderOfficial Britain stop feeling sorry for yourselves because we kicked your ass in the 1770's :(

  • @SoundtrackToMyyLife "we" who?

  • @SoundtrackToMyyLife AMEEEEEEEERICCAAAAAA

  • @SoundtrackToMyyLife we founded your country, regretted it since day 1.

  • @ThoughtlessCloud That's funny because without us Germany would've destroyed you in WWII and it's also funny how you didn't 'find' our country Christopher Columbus found it..Britain should regret losing to us during the Revolutionary War though right? :)

  • @SoundtrackToMyyLife But i'll be honest here I like alot of UK music and culture so I'll stop the whole 'AMERICA RULES' thing because it's not really how I am haha

  • @SoundtrackToMyyLife why are you mad

  • @ThoughtlessCloud How am I mad sir?

  • @SoundtrackToMyyLife Writing a paragraph I dont give a fuck about.

  • @ThoughtlessCloud Seems like you're the mad one =/

  • @SoundtrackToMyyLife You can't really say "we" you or your granddad didn't do shit in the revolutionary war. The US didn't win that on their own either. The Dutch, The French and The Spanish helped you on that. But all this talk about war is useless my American friend and ally. Don't forget that mate.

  • This sounds like metal fucking itself, what is this shit

  • @tripinsane americans dont know what dubstep is.

  • @ThoughtlessCloud Hey now, I'm American and this stuff is fantastic. :3

Then again, I live in Alaska and we don't really count.

  • @BenMoquin i agree Brostep=Nostep.

  • Ive been listening to dubtep and dnb for a couple years now I gotta say I love all electronic music , but besides that I can't stand the remarks about what genre, or why it is what is type shit. one thing people have yet to mention either is the inspiration and time it takes to make a good track/song. Also electronic music has came along way since the first synthesizer's and i would like to continue to hear new creations of music....and some superfirekillachronic to go with it!!!!!

  • For the people that don't get this artist, DUBstep happens to get its name because it originally was focused on elements of, well, DUB. Don't get me wrong I love me some of the newer subgenres like Filthstep. But not the mainstream Brostep crap!

  • my god this is horrible.

  • @Traxxas1992 fuck off

  • @Traxxas1992

no. I refuse to brush off your opinion. This can't possibly be considered bad by any stretch of the imagination.

  • @Traxxas1992 Piss off you twat you clearly don't know what dubstep is you child.

  • @Pussiepressups Lmao dude i listen to dubstep everyday. Real dubstep. This is unorganized and all over the place haha

  • @Traxxas1992 Everyday since when? since a week ago you brostepper, im a dubstep producer/fan and i've been listening to dubstep since 2003 come at me bro. Your clearly American if not your just an uneducated individual with a small mind ofcause.

  • @Pussiepressups hahahaha let me hear some of your stuff... And lmao everyday since like 08? Idk and i guarantee you listen to this filth shit :p lmao Get out of here!!!! hahaha

  • this is horrible.

  • @angelwidplaguez

this is what dubstep used to be before it became that violent shit that people are now calling dubstep. if it werent for artists like this there would never be so called "good" dubstep. have some fucking respect because this takes 10 times more skill to produce than that annoying ass shit.

  • I do like all the yanks howling i want wobble liek Datsik or Excision and going on about dirt like every other random bandwagon jumper. The clue's in the name, sillies. DUB STEP. The wobble stuff's mainly just slowed down DnB.

  • @robenestobenz i see a lot of irony in that comment.

  • you know i started out with datsik and all but in order to love a certain genre you have to respect its roots, if you don't like this then your bass needs to be louder because you are obviously missing something. this is truly bass driven music

  • Burial

  • Burial is love.

    He's a genius.

  • burial is a dub god.

  • tha fuck is this

  • Every Burial video I see has people saying whether or not its dubstep. I couldent give seven flying shits, Burial is, and will alwyas be close to my heart. I dont care what genre he is, if he can be placed into anything its...'Pure talent and emotion'.

  • What uve gotta remember is, for those who have never heard of UK Garage, Dubstep owes alot of its roots to 2step. Quite a few producers have paid homage to 2step Garage especially when it comes to beats, such as Burial, Rusko (Love is real) etc. The yanks are quite new to Dubstep in the grand scheme of things and probably havent heard alot of the older Dubstep, when it sounded alot different. Please look up how Dubsteps evolved before claimin somethin isnt "this" or isnt "that".

  • Isn't this definitely Garage? What about it is anything like Dubstep?

  • @Mowglii92

your comment only proves howmuch you know about dubstep mate..

I bet u think its all about WOBBLE WOBBLE

  • @HelloSaysTheChair YER INNIT killer wobble is what im about, fuk any choon that aint got wobble

  • very lovely

  • i hoppe no one hates me for saying this, but i need to be really high to truly enjoy burial

  • this is just shite

  • I can kinda appreciate this kind of chill tune now, and the actual production side of this is dope. I used to just be all about filthy tunes, but I like a wide range of dubstep artists nowadays. I guess it just proves dubsteps diversity, that you can have tunes like this, or tunes by Flux or Borgore which are completely different. Peace out

  • fuck light

  • off beats almost put me in a freakin' trance every time i come upon one.

  • Burial makes the best kind of Dubstep. Songs which are obnoxious with the wobble sound can be fun, but they don't have much soul.

  • start sounds like someone banging a tune in there car or garage.. i like.

  • @ZANDERHAY well the genre is garage...lol

  • @gingaballa Yeah now-a-days it seems like all that matters is the wooble but that's not such a bad thing. Dubstep is certainly finding it's niche in the international dance scene but I still think that no other genre of music out there as fewer boundaries and thus can be made into whatever a producer wants. It's future music indeed.

  • @gingaballa Reggae? Dubstep started off as a mixture of 2-step garage and drum 'n' bass. It was untill Forward>> started having Benga, Loefah and other more minimalistic darker producers spin that raggae sounding dubstep became the norm.

  • @WreckEmTech13 you're cool

  • good to chil to but too boring i preferf harder dubstep or grime

  • Burial is one of the best.

  • such a nice break from all the shitty wobble bullshit out there. big tune. DUBIENT FOR 2010.

  • some nice old school burial :)

It's ambient btw. Dubstep has sub-genres like every genre of music.

I like the no drop element; you can chill throughout.

  • This is an awesome track, I don't care what it may or may not be.

  • @RaverGuy2009 & gingaballa: ur both jus chattin shit iv got my own opinion of what dub i do n dnt like so sht the fuck up dik'eds, gingaballa dnt act like i dnt know dub kid iv been listenin 2 it since ur mum was in nappies kid

  • this is pretty sick and chill at the same time, the beat is polyrhythmic too and i love that shit

  • some many yanks on this page askin for drops....dubstep didn't use to be all about the wobble bass

  • @Pancakesatthedisco WERE DAT SIK WUB WUB AT MAN DIS NOT PROPA DUB

  • sorry mate didn't understand what u just said could u repeat please

  • @DubstepTube I don't usually pick up on sarcasm over the web, but you achieved it pretty well. *claps* =D

  • @DubstepTube lovin the sarcasm. burial is dub at its finest

  • Comment removed

  • @DubstepTube lmfaooo

  • @Pancakesatthedisco its just different styles of dubstep, don't make this a nationalist/political/whatever fight. this comming from a person that listened to alot of dubstep for a long time and im neither "yank" nor "brit". let them beats do the talking

  • @Pancakesatthedisco Yank right here... I like this one better than some of the other stuff i've been hearing.

  • @Pancakesatthedisco Sweet, thanks for the bred hatred toward us "yanks". You are playing into exactly what the powers that be want, and that is a brainwashed socialite that will never be able to unite with his brothers (everyone) because he is a judgmental racist.

  • Wheres the bass drop o.o I keep anticipating it coming.. and then there isnt one... can't say the song is too good.. but it kept my attention so 5/5

  • get fucked this shit is classy

  • @WKDTuNezZ Hey buddy.. This shit's sick, it's not our fault that your ears cringe at the sound of chill music. If you didn't like the video then why the fuck did you comment, why not just stop listening and leave? Didn't that whore ass mother of yours teach you if you don't have anything good to say, to shut the fuck up?

  • you sir. are the noobiest most bittiest of music fad followers, I'm so glad that noobs like you can't understand and never will understand the craftmanship behind good music, keep listening to bait senseless wobbles, I hope 2010 brings you some knowledge x

  • One of Burial's best completed tracks.

  • when is the bass gonna drop? :(

  • i know right

  • u ever heard burial??

i recommend u check out burial - homeless, or etched headplate, anythin really of the album untrue

  • Burial - Unite

  • what bass?.....

  • love that time sig.

  • i love dubstep and i respect burial as an artists, but im not too fond of this song, no hate comments please haha :D

  • nah fair enough. burial does some great stuff but ther always off on their own buzz. some of their tracks are waaaay above my head.

  • @KieranMPK Fair enough. This is actually a little more spacious than his usual stuff, probably why it was on the flip side. Still love it though.

  • @KieranMPK wtf you are a terrible person for not liking this song you idiot. haha jk

  • tuuuunneee

  • HOLY SHIT!

  • twat.

  • you parasite

  • this is possibly the most awesome music ive ever heard.
