I like Kissin's interpretation of this piece especially as shown here that he's only 15. Wow!!!
Personally, I dislike this Liszt piece. I like the virtuosity Liszt put into this piece but I dislike the melody. Idk.. To me, the music feels like going to the zoo and meeting a weird and wacky animal like a chimpanzee and watching this animal lick its own ass in a tree somewhere. Eurgh!!!!!
Halleluja!
Can someone please tell me what the hell is this piece about?
the one pianist whose playing inspires me most, i must say, is kissin. watching him revitalizes and energizes the blood the veins of my fingers! when i am down on my playing, kisisn is by far the best resource!
he fixed, touched his hair with his right hand while playing frenzied octaves with his left hand at 2:43. Good technique is said to be effortless.. This child prodigy Kissin shows us an example.

@LickandNuke Um... What Grade is this piece in?
Just Wondering....
123mazeppa 1 year ago
@123mazeppa It's pretty high up there in difficulty..... and im playing it for level 10
LickandNuke 1 year ago
@123mazeppa actually, Waldesrauchen means "forest smoke"... So I'm not very sure if this peace is meant to be very peaceful
lottoformulier 1 year ago
@lottoformulier The piece is WaldesRAUSCHEN, not WaldesRAUCHEN. RAUSCHEN = Murmurs, Rauchen = smoke. l2deutsch, noob.

It's pretty depressing when I realise he plays so much better than I can ever hope to.
