You, people, do not know how to start cold engine.... that's why it cranks!
At 1st, press the gas pedal for 10-30 times (depending how cold or old engine is), then try to start engine but DO NOT PRESS GAS PEDAL! Press it only when engine fully started.
With this method I start my 1983 Audi 80 with no problems, even if engine is -25C (I Live in Lithuania).
probably needs new sets of points and condesor, i had one that did the same thing, bought it for 25 bucks, and did a complete tuneup, plugs, wires, points and condensor, cap and rotor, oil, filters, grease job
ok glad it was just a condeser, after i got it worked on and fixed up, it ran like a top and sold it for 1800 bucks after being offered from a pallet factory, after i paid 25 bucks for the forklift and total investment into it was 127.79, made a huge profit, i might do that again, if i'm lucky LoL
bad news. theas work boots are so fucked i will have to get new ones soon. they wher the best boots i have had. they are RedBack boots and they are 3y old
Well no biggie just make sure your future videos are in workboots and jeans ;) may i suggest redwings? they're great, really comfortable and look great!
That's when they're the best for pumping...Don't throw them away yet! :) Wear 'em *completely* out on the forklift and car gas pedals. I have a 75 Cadillac for you to try if you're ever up this way. :)
i have noted that you call your self a mechanical engineer on you profile ill put $100 dollars on the fact that your not your only qualification is in pumping old engines, may i recommend you yous some lub e next time you decide to pump some thing
