This is 100% Guild Wars. That battle took place on the Wizards Isle. Up to 8 players per team can take part in a GvG battle. But you need a Guild, Guild Hall and members to battle with. I love this game!

It's actually a scrimmage, because there's only 6 players on each side. An actual GvG battle requires 8 players on each side, whether they be henchies, heroes or players.

To win in Guild, it is to destroy the ennemy base, no the commander.

this is almost like Alterac Valley in WoW, each team has a commander and the objective is t kill the opposing commander.

Um.. there were additional guild halls released when Factions and Nightfall came out. You can view them all by talking to an NPC on a boat in Lion's Arch. There's also an NPC in Factions/Nightfall too, but was never bothered to find it.

Well, the actual game client only allows you to type via chatbox, however if you're wanting to actually talk to people, you can download Ventrilo or Team Speak provided someone has a server for the clients and gives you the information if you don't wish to purchase one yourself.

There is not currently, nor will there ever be a monthly fee for Guild Wars. You can buy the game and play for as long as you like.. even take month long breaks if need be without a monthly fee draining your bank account. :P
